Close To My Heart offers so many ways to add sparkle to your projects, and the most recent October Heart2Heart Challenge is capitalizing on this sparkly goodness!
While you might not see the sparkle at first, just turn this wedding card a bit in the light to see the Mint and Juniper shimmer brushes on the vellum flower die cut.
That velvet Julep ribbon is delicious and luxurious! Unfortunately, the Swiss Dots folder is no longer available.
Be sure to check out all of the H2H Sparkly creations and join us this month!
Stamping, scrapping, and paper crafting: create, craft, and connect at my classes and online!

April Stamp of the Month Blog Hop: Love So Sweet
The Close To My Heart April stamp of the month, Love So Sweet, is a gorgeous stamp set that you have to have! Continue along this blog hop to get lots of great ideas highlighting the versatility and beauty of this set, only available this month. {If you're already hopping then you've probably arrived from my sweet friend Becca's blog. From here, you'll visit Barbara's blog next.}
My card began with embossing the Swiss Dots embossing folder on my Cuttlebug. I then started stamping the flowers in Sapphire and Sugarplum. They needed something so I started adding Fern leaves, but they weren't enough so some more Sugarplum and Sapphire small flowers were needed (in first and second generation stamping). I added the Charcoal sentiment and butterfly to finish the stamping. (I had planned to add some white ribbon above the embossed band, but it covered up too much of my pretty stamping!) Instead, I added some gold glitter gems to the sentiment.
To finish my card, I painted my flower centers with my gold shimmer brush and added a gold glitter gem.
I had planned to used that beautiful butterfly on my card, but the flowers ended up taking center stage. I hope you like what I've created! Thank you for letting me share my card with you! I'd love a comment before you hop on over to Barbara's blog to continue the stamp of the month hop.

Love Blossoms Blog Hop
Have you seen the beautiful current Close To My Heart special workshop, Love Blossoms? It is a beautiful double stamp set plus a complete 12-card workshop. My blog hop group decided to feature this special so that you can see how versatile this set really is. {If you're already hopping, then you've probably arrived from Krista's blog. From here, you'll visit my friend and fellow Heart 2 Heart designer, Melissa.}
For this hop, I wanted to show a different side of Love Blossoms, so I only used sentiments and not the flowers. These cards will be mailed to my daughter in college over the next few months.
The first one is going in the mail tomorrow so that she'll have it well before St. Patrick's Day. I used the So Much Happy collection with the addition of gold shimmer trim. I inked up the "may your day be" (NOT inking up the "as" at the end) in Lemon and then stamped "lucky" in Clover. I cut the shamrock from Clover card stock with my CTMH/Cricut Flower Market cartridge.
My second card uses the Something Fierce collection. After cutting the Thin Cut hearts, I stamped the sentiments in Pewter and Raspberry. I like the addition of the white enamel dots!
My final card uses the I Heart Us collection. I stamped the top and bottom sentiments in Pixie and "fabulous" in Raspberry. To create pink shimmer trim, I used my Shin Han Twin Touch Tender Pink marker to color silver trim. The cute heart is from the I Heart Us complements.
Thank you for letting me share a variety of fun and easy cards. Feel free to copy them if you like! After leaving a comment, go visit Melissa's blog next on the hop!
