I love Your style

Time for another great challenge at Crafty CardMakers this month.  The theme of the challenge is dies or punches.

For this card I used a frame die from Yvonne's Creations along with a digital image by Fairy Ink.  The image was coloured with Copics and pencil crayons.

Other products I used on the card are Nuvo Crystal Drops, Wink of Stella, Diamond Glaze and a sentiment stamp.

Thank you for stopping by and have a creative week. Remember to pop over to our challenge blog to be inspired by the projects of our design team.

By or Under the Sea Challenge

This weeks challenge at Crafty CardMakers is By or Under the Sea.  When I heard the theme I thought of lost treasure and I had the perfect small metal box in my stash that was perfect for the challenge.

We are sponsored for this challenge by

With a prize of £12.00 to spend at your favourite Woodware Stockist, either in store or on line.

I coloured the inside of my box in blue and white and added some bubbles.  I then added a mermaid by Faery Ink that I coloured with Copics, Diamond Glaze, and a Wink of Stella.  I filled my box with gems, pearls, shells and other findings.  Next I added  some fun fish by Miss Rach and an anchor.

Here are some other views of my assemblage.

Distress It

Come and Get It this week has a Distress It challenge and I hope you will play along with us.   I have used our sponsor, Faery Ink's image called Wolfbane to make my card.

I coloured my image with Copic markers. To distress my card I torn the edges of my papers and added some distress ink. I layered my card with some antique lace and added paper flowers that I also distressed.  I hope you enjoyed my card and thank you for stopping by.

Owl Always Love You Plaque

I made this plaque for this weeks Not Just Cards challenge.  I  made this sweet little plaque out of an old 8 by 10 craft board I had in my stash.   The image is from Faery Ink and is called Owls Love You Hearts and Valentines.

After I printed the image I glued it to the board and coloured the image with my Copics,  PanPastels and Soot Distress inks.  I added some wooden hears, that I coloured with markers and Diamond, glaze and glitter. I made a mistake and knocked over my Diamond Glaze on the project.  I blotted it up and then decided to spray my project with Goose Bumps so that the whole project had a shine.

This was a fun project and I hope you will join us at Not Just Cards this week.

I am entering this project in the following challenges:

Pile It On Cute Animal

Let The Good Times Roll - Mardi Gra

This is one of my projects this week for Not Just Cards. I used this Mardi Gra mask from Faery Ink for my journal page. I think this image is beautiful and just right for a journal page.

I printed my image and then masked it to protect it from my background technique.  I used a brayer and rolled several thin coats of different colours of chalk paint on my background then stamped my music stamp with Stazon Ink.

I coloured my mask with coordination colours of Copics and used a gold gelli pen for the beads.   I added die cut feathers and a sentiment.  To complete the page I inked the feathers and page with Lilac Distress Ink.   Thank you for stopping by and have a creative day.

I am entering this project in the following challenges:

Altered Eclectics  - Anything Goes (Altered Art/Mix Media only)
2 Creative Chicks - Anything Goes (no cards)

Party Like a Rock Star

Not Just Cards is having another great Anything Goes challenge this week.  I am using a digital image from  Faery Ink called Hip Hop Headphones Urban Afro Puffs Cutie Tube.  Faery Ink is just one of the great sponsors for this challenge and with such great sponsors we have some wonderful prizes for the winners.

I made a CD cover with my image.  I thought it would be a great gift for a little  girl with some of their favourite music on the CD.  Thank you for stopping by and have a very creative day.
