'Flags Are False' is an explosive catapult of chaotic energy and blistering speed with a trashiness to the sound that can only be described as “authentic”. Lovingly named after a furious 39 second piece of Tennessee hardcore called “Acid Casualty” by KORO, AC’s songs are a pitch perfect homage to our beloved 80’s USHC with a special place in their hearts for “being New Jersey”. Cause that’s where they’re from, duh. What we have always appreciated about NJ punk music is that it’s fucking loud, brash, simple, tuneful, and aggressive. This album is 100% those things to a tee. Without chips on their shoulders or delusions of greatness clouding up their brains, ACID CASUALTIES goes for the throat without letting go at all. Clubbing the future one tune at a time. Beautiful.
