L'homme (avec la minuscule) est si jaloux de la puissance d'un taureau qu'il a tout fait pour le posséder, le dompter et, plus encore, le sacrifier — autrefois au cours d'hécatombes, aujourd'hui malheureusement via la corrida. Avec son premier album Offerings of Flesh and Gold, Bull of Apis Bull of Bronze inverse le rapport de force : le taureau, on apprend à le craindre car il écrase tout, y compris les symboles phalliques. Le black metal y change du tout au tout, drone puis furieux. Bouillant.
