Tando with Andy Skinner: Steampunk tag

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my project for our  Tando Andy Skinner week.
And it's so obvious that this project should be a Mixed Media one.
So here is my Steampunk Mixed Media tag made with lots of Tando products and even more Andy's ones.

I used Scrapberry's  cardstock to make the basic hand cut tag and added Tando Cogs mini mask with DecoArt Crackle paste over the cardstock.
When the crackles became seen I added a mix of Media line Andy Skinners acrylics from DecoArt mixed with water.
The main spot is Andy's Stampendous stamp from Curiosity stamp set. It was stamped with black pigmented ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.
The Grid- Rectangle chipboard piece was painted with the mix of the same line of acrylics that you can get from Tando shop as well.
The other Tando/Andy's chipboards used are from Industrial elements  set and Cogs set, all painted to get this rusty look.

And here are the products used for this tag:

Bright and bold : DecoArt shines

Long time ago (I mean like 6 years already) I became a DT member of UK company named Tando.
6 years later we are still together and this is a reason to know Andy Skinner's name long before it was all known around the world.
Andy runs his own Mixed Media line with DecoArt, makes his own stamps  and stencils and even runs his own Mixed Media challenge. As for me? I own a lot of his stencils, tons of DecoArts MM products and even one single new released stamp set that I got while attending his fantastic class on last CHA.
So making a project- a second one already- was his new challenge is a fun and easy task.
Bold and bright? I sure love it.So this art page was made with everything you can see below (Andy's stamp set is not on this photo, but lots of his other products are). One single sentiment stamp set is from Visible Image and I used it as it was just perfect for this pretty dark stencilled girl who should take a moment and to make it bright and perfect.

And some close ups too. Lot of texture made with DecoArt Texture paste, Fluid acrylics, Matte Gel, Gesso and also a lot of dry time and some heat embossing.
The sentiment was stamped over tissue as with this texture it was almost impossible to make it other way. The white splashes are from the new Andy's stamp set made with white acrylic paint and glitter over it.

I enter this art piece to Andy Skinner's first challenge.
 Craft stamper- Anything goes
Visible image - Show and tell
SSSS- Something unknown- this page is made with different home items- like fork, knives, comb over the paint. First time to do so- and I like the texture I got

Creative Artiste MM challenge- Anything goes
Anything but cute- anything goes with colors, not cute

Touch of Magic

It seams that I still have " me time" and " me time" means making things just for myself. Like for some web challenges. Like to play with products I forgot about as I had to work with " my" companies.
So this art piece is a bit about forgotten things and a bit about " let play from the heart".
This is an small, card  size art board I made for a couple of web challenges.
The only new thing here is the stencil I just got and this delight is from Rebecca Baer. You will see much more of them from April, but for now it's just a sample.
I used  very old stamps from the time I was a Guest designer for a few months on 100 Proof Press company. The mists are from Lindy Stamp Gang February challenge colors and lucky me just had 3 of them at hand ( Used Luscious lime mist,Hottie Patottie hot pink, and Delphinium Turquoise). Also used DecoArt Decoupage medium to glue the stamped over tissue images and their Texture paste. Some glitters were the only other medium used.
And the letters are from AC and Michaels.

And those are the challenges that I enter this pieces:

Lindy Stamp Gang color challenges
More than words- mini challenge- Magical
SSSS- Song words challenge-  it's an inspiration from Olivia Newton John song " Magic"
Stamps and stencils

Splatter, Spritz and Smoosh !

Country view challenges- Make your own background
Anything but a card- Sweet Stamps
