More Christmas projects with BoBunny

Hello my dear crafty friends!
Irit is here again and this time I am going to share my second Christmas projects made with BoBunny new and fantastic Fa La La collection.
This time I decided to use the more traditional red and green colors from the collection and to show how we can make a set of simple mini cards and a more  difficult fancy layered tag.
So here are both projects together:

Christmas tag and mini cards set by Irit Shalom

There are four mini cards in the  clear bag and I embellished the bag in the same style.

This is an office clear bag with glue strip on the top (A2 size) and it keeps 4 cards in the perfect way as you can see.
Here is the bag without the cards and we can re- open it again and again the the strip is free from the embellishments on the top.
I just cut the cardstock circle and added two tags hand cut from the  paper with one single metal brad.
The lower embellishments cluster was made with the same circle, heart die cut and the hand cut Santa.

And here are the cards: easy to make ones.
All are embellished with wooden shapes and some die cuts in the similar and easy to make style.

And after this simple project here is the fancy, huge and layered tag:

Actually it's a double tag and I added the thick chipboard base under the cardstock covers.
Two large die cuts were added over both tags (Clock and Mandala) and then I made this " shaker like circle" , but without the shaker add- ons inside.
I made it with layers of cardstock and added hand cut shapes inside. Then it was covered with acetate and gold painted circle.
The same  gold paint was added around the tags and even over the large die cuts.

Here you can see all tag layers from the side.

Collect Beautiful Moments shadow box with Penelope collection

Hello my dear crafty friends! Irit is here today and I welcome you to my new craft tutorial made with a video tutorial.
Shadow box with Irit Shalom

This shadow box is very easy to make and it can be used as a real gift box or as a gift card holder or even as a photo frame.
Just make one or many with the most gorgeous BoBunny new released Penelope collection as as you can see this project has no Mixed Media products or hard to get ones. On the other hand even if you only have this paper collection and a few BoBunny embellishments you can make this beauty in a really short time.
This is how it looks when opened:

One side is just the embellished side and it should be pretty flat if you want to close the box after all.
The  deep box side is embellished just a bit as we want it to be ready for the small gift or photo or whatever you wish to add inside.

As you can see the left inside has some depth, but not too much.

The box right side has the space for anything  you want to add  inside.

Here is another close- up to the left box side.
I used wooden heart shape, some hand cut from the cardstock flowers and a couple of die cut pieces (the parts of the larger die cut frame from Ever after cards dies.
The cover was embellished with the same hand cut flowers, die cut leaves and some paper and fabric flowers with the add on of the wooden birdcage and some rhinestones.

You can see all steps on this video link HERE:

And also the products list was added to the video, I add it here again  for the easier  future use.
BoBunny products used to make this project:
Penelope collection 12*12'' cardstock: Moments, Abbey, Grace, Laugh, Live
Ever After card dies
Lovely Leaf dies
Double Dot Aqua jewels
Double Dot Emerald jewels
Licorice jewels
Heart wood shapes
Birdcage wood shapes

Thanks for being here with me today and for watching my video. I am still on my learning curve, but I think it's easy to understand tutorial and hope you would try to make the similar project some day.

Merry early Christmas with BoBunny

Hello my dear crafty friends!
Irit is here and today I am going to share a couple of projects made with BoBunny new and delicious Fa La La collection.
This is a new and pretty mush traditional Christmas collection and I decided to make pretty  much traditional projects.
So here are my interactive card and gift card holder.

Christmas card and gift card holder by Irit Shalom

I decided to stay in reds and blues with a small touch of deep green for both projects and as you can see it works perfectly when you pick the right cardstock from the whole line.
I made it in this totally traditional crafty style with the very small Mixed Media touches.
So this are the projects that can be made by  any crafter  who likes BoBunny products and want to make lovely Christmas projects with this new collection.
And now I am going to show you the interactive card. In made it with the technique called Color Magic, but I didn't use the stamped images that are the must for this technique. The regular card made in this style has one non colored image made over acetate and one same image made over cardstock and colored. So first you see the black and white image and then when you pull the  white tab it becomes colored.
On this card I use the hand cut Santa that was hand cut and glued over the acetate and used the patterned cardstock tab. And  when the tab is pulled I added another patterned paper background.
So  this is how this card looks when the tab is inside:

And this is the tab half way up and we can see the part of the green cardstock background:

And this is how it looks when the tab is fully up. It's like first Santa was in the woods and then came to your Christmas tree.

I know that it can be tricky to understand this kind of a card and I promise to make a full video tutorial one day with this technique.

And now to the folded gift card holder that was made with the basic Double Dot cardstock and then embellished with the new collection cardstock, new wooden shapes and a lot of die cuts.
This is the closed gift card holder and I didn't use any closure for this project, but you can add a small magnet or a small Velcro piece.
I added two layers of patterned Fa La La cardstock on the flap and on the front  and then embellished with Christmas dies cuts, hand cut Santa and some wooden shapes that were painted with BoBunny Crackle paste.
Let's say that it's pretty difficult to paint such small pieces with two steps crackle, but it worked perfect!

This is how it looks when the flap is opened. You can see the front piece with a full Christmas die cut frame and the tag that was added inside the flap to add the recipient name later.

And this is how it looks when full opened. I added 4  adhesive corners to keep the gift card inside the holder and another Holiday sentiment on the bottom.

BoBunny products list:
Fa La La Collection- 12*12'' cardstocks-  Fa La La Cheer, Santa Stripe, Noteworthy, Fa La La Sparkle, Christmas Tree, Holiday Hoot, Deck the Halls, Be Merry
Double Dot cardstock- Dark Denim, Wild Berry, Aquamarine
Christmas card dies
To and From dies
Double Dot Ruby Red Jewels
Christmas wooden shapes

I hope that you like my early Christmas projects and see you soon again!

Garden Party wedding layout with BoBunny

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new BoBunny inspirational post.
Irit is here today and I am going to share a Wedding page made with the new, most gorgeous Garden Party BoBunny collection and my lovely daughter wedding photos.
This collection is the perfect match to her last year garden wedding and the greens of her photos fit perfectly to the greens of the collection.

As it's a wedding reception layout I decided to add golds to the page and used  gold glitter paste over stencil on the edges first.

Then I added gold spray over the whole page.
The chipboard hearts, die cut flourish and the die cut titles were painted with gold liquid Pentart paint and they sure shine!

As I wanted to add  this " something blue" item to the layout and the groom's outfit is light blue I added blue lace and some blue jewels to make it less monochromatic and a bit more interesting. And I found this blue lace and the metal black with blue trinket in another new collection ephemera package (Family Recipes).

So don't afraid to mix and match! It works.

Product list:
BoBunny products:
Licorice Doubledot cardstock
Garden Party collection:
Soiree, Fragnant, Party Whimsy, Love Story, Celebrate, Elegant 12'' cardstocks
Hearts laser cut chipboard

Tuxedo Black jewels
Aqua Jewels
Ever after card dies
Congratulations Card dies

Memories layout with Scrapmatts

  Hello my dear crafty friends!
This 12*12'' layoutwas made with my lovely daughter and my granddaughter photo on my DD wedding day.
I still continue to scrap my second daughter's wedding day (it will take forever...) and this is her photo with her beloved 3 years old niece.

Each chipboard piece was painted with DecoArt paints and then I added quite a thick layer of DecoArt
Crackle glaze over the dry paint.

Some darker paint was added into the dry cracks and you can see the fantastic result on this big rose here:

I also added some clear glitter circles using Scrapmatts 9007 Circles stencil, but it's hard to see on the photo.
You can see a bot of the glitter circles here on this close- up:

Another look at the painted chipboards:

I used Kaisercrafts paper collection for this page and entered it to their challenge and added quite a few Scrapmatts chipboards as my only other embellishments.
And 1-2-3 Challenge blog for White- Bling and Love

I also emtered this piece to Berry71bleu inspirational challenge- girl with flowers on the corner was my inspiration and Summer too.

CAS-ual Fridays Stamps sketch challenge

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to our CAS- ual stamps Sketch challenge.

No automatic alt text available.
This pretty sketch is just a starting point. You can do whatever you wish with it and as you can see you don't need to use hearts. For example I made it with punched circles.
To make this card I used Modern Petals stamp set. I stamped the largest border and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. Then 8 circles were punched and layered over the bigger punched black cardstock  circles.
One last circle got this #1 sticker and I made the sentiment using RAD 2 stamp set. This set is  the perfect set  for so many different sentiment you can build while making your cards or other projects.

And now some close- ups for you to see:

There are no genre restrictions for this challenge. Link up your clean and simple designs or layer it on -- the choice is yours.  Make sure to link back to this blog post and include the graphic below in your post for consideration of being chosen a winner.

Weekend adventure with BoBunny

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my first May BoBunny inspirational post.
Today I am going to share four cards made with the very same, new and just released Weekend Adventures collection.

Weekend Adventures is the most versatile collection. You can scrapbook all your outdoors adventures such as BBQ,hiking, picnic, road trips and just outdoor play. You can use it for any party theme that is connected with one of these activities. And you can make cute themed and most general cards using this collection products with all other new released BoBunny and Pentart products as I did making my totally different cards for this showcase.
The two cards here are made as my themed cards;

My two other cards were made as more general cards and can be used for more occasions.

Now lets see the techniques I used  to make each  single card.
Life is Sweet card is the simple card made with BoBunny Weekend Adventures 12*12'' cardstock, Double dots cardstock for matting, Noteworthy  scalloped die cut as the front image and add ons of chipboards and one single layered chipboard.
This is a beginners' level card that can be made even by kids.

Congratulations card is the second non themed card and more complicated to make.
I used the same 12*12'' cardstocks with Double dot cardstock for matting and for die cutting and arranged multi layered card with add-ons of chipboards and layered chipboards. The sentiment was die cut and layered one over another for more interest.

And now let's see the themed cards.
The first themed card has a Mixed Media background that was made with BoBunny new stencil and Pentart new Stencil paste. When it was totally dry I added the die cut frame, a chipboard strip and arranged the chipboard sentiment over the die cut doily.

The last card is just Hello card made with different colors, but in the same way. Few background layers were made with patterned and Double dot cardstock; some die cuts were added over the front.
The edges were painted with new BoBunny Glitter paste and some chipboards were added as  embellishments.
