Best floral day ever card with CAS- ual Fridays

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new CAS- ual Fridays post.
Today I am going to share my new lovely floral card of a card made with one single CAS- ual Fridays  background stamp set and one CAS- ual Fridays die .
I know that it's a Winter around, but here in Israel it's a kind of a Spring and I was in this bright mood and this is how this card was born.

The background floral set was stamped with black pigmented ink and then heat embossed with clear embossing powder.
Then I colored the floral background with watercolor markers.
Here are the CAS- ual Fridays products that I used to make this card:

And some more photos of this card:

The title was die cut and then covered with black embossing powder and I tried to leave the part of the title non covered as the shadow.

Black enamel drops were added as my flower centres all over the card.

See how easy it is to make this lovely floral card with just one great CAS- ual Fridays stamp set and one single die. You sure can change the floral colors and the title can be die cut from colored cardstock or painted in another color.
Hope that you like my  card and you still have time to buy yourself these gorgeous stamps from CAS- ual Fridays shop and even to use our  discounts.

You're the tweetest card with CAS- ual Fridays

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new CAS- ual Fridays post.
Today I am going to share a small tutorial of a card made with one single CAS- ual Fridays  Little Birdies stamp set  and it's actually one layer card (plus basic card ).

This is a kind of a Mixed Media creation as it was done with distress inks, heat embossing, water splashes and masking fluid, but finally it looks non messy and very cute.

This is the stamp set used to make this project:

Little Birdies
And here is a small tutorial I made for this card:

1. Stamp the birdies with pigmented black ink and heat emboss with black fine embossing powder.

2. Cover the stamped image with masking fluid and let it dry.

3. Make oval template that covers the card and use distress inks to ink the inside oval over the stamped and masked image.

4. Peel the masking fluid off the image as now it's like a rubber.

5. Color the birds with watercolor markers.

6. Stamp the sentiment from the same set using permanent black ink.

7. Add a drop of water to distress inks and make splashes over the card. Let it dry.

Your card is actually done. Add the base and give it to a good friend !

I hope that you like my cute friendship card and you still have time to buy yourself these gorgeous stamps from CAS- ual Fridays shop and even to use our  discounts.

CAS- ual Fridays August release Day 2- Foxy

Hello my dear crafty friends!
Welcome to our CAS- ual Fridays August new release Day 2 !
Today we are going to share our creations made with a totally lovely
Foxy stamp set.

I am not a great coloring person, so I did this card in a kind of a light Mixed Media style using water color markers inside the heat embossed stamped image and then I just " moved"  the inks with baby wipe over the card. Some green mist splashes were added over the card for more interest.
The only embellishments added to this card were enamel and glitter drops and actually this is one layer card after all!

Bravo eclipse card tutorial with CAS-ual Fridyas

Hello my dear crafty friends!
Irit from Irit Shalom Designs is here today with my very first post made for CAS- ual Fridays main company team.
About  a year and a half ago I was asked by CAS- ual Fridays owner Michele to make some guest design for the company release.
From there I became a member of their challenge blog design team for a year and now lucky me moved to the main inspiration  blog.
So from here on you will see my CAS- ual Fridays projects made with new releases and oldies all together and some will have a full step by step tutorial.
So today I made a full tutorial for a kind of eclipse card.
Usually we need a larger alphabet single letters dies  to make a proper eclipse card, but as you can see CAS-ual Fri- dies words can make the job too.
So here is my eclipse card and yes, let's say Bravo to all of us who survive the Summer vacation...
I know that with four small grand kids it makes my Summer a full time job of babysitting, but I still can craft in between.

So in general this card was made with several techniques  (see them all on the following step by step tutorial):
Stamping with VersaMark and heat embossing; masking with die cuts;coloring with water color markers;making faux chipboard with layered die cuts; adding texture with texture paste and stencil; misting around.
And with all these techniques this card still looks pretty much clean and simple; exactly the way I wanted it to look.

These are CAS- ual Friday products I used to make this card:

Pretty Posies

Posies Fri Dies

And now here is my step by step tutorial:

 1. Die cut or hand cut  your card front from a thick white cardstock. Stamp the largest flower with Memento Luxe black pigmented ink or us VersaMark (whatever works best for you). Heat emboss with clear embossing powder (if you used VersaMark  heat emboss with black embossing powder).

2. Stamp all flowers and leaves from Pretty Posies stamp set and die cut them all with Posies Fri- dies.
I made all masks in advance, also I didn't use them all at the end.

3. Use your die cuts as masks and stamp the flowers cluster on one corner. Then move to the other corner and make another flower cluster.

This is how it looks after this serial masking, stamping and heat embossing.

4.Water color the stamped images with you favorite water color tools. Mine are Zig Real Brush.

5.  Arrange Bravo cutting die over the colored card front and die cut it.

Die cut the same word 2-3 times from black cardstock to make this your inner layers.
Glue the top die cut layer over the inner ones and make 3d " chipboard like" word.

6. Die cut deep purple background rectangle in the same size as your card front.
Glue the die cut card front over the background dark layer.
Glue the sentiment into the die cut negative part with 3d foam glue.

7. Use stencil and glitter paste over the " white spaces" to add some interest to the card.
 Let it dry.

8. Add few color splashes over the dry glitter paste.
You card is done! Enjoy!

Hope you liked my small tutorial and see in in a couple of weeks with more CAS- ual Fridays inspiration!

Eclipse card with Magenta

Hello my dear craty friends and welcome to my new Magenta post.
This time I made an eclipse card with one large stamp that was stamped on both card corners and added the die cut word in the middle of stamped front.
This is all about eclipse trendy technique after all.
I worked with white water color cardstock as the base for stamping.
Magenta large stamp was stamped with black pigmented ink and then heat embossed with clear embossing powder.
Then the stamped images were colored with water color markers and then and only then I die cut the large MFT die Hugs in the middle of card front.

The die cut letters were glued over the die cut slots with 3d foam glue and then  Magenta stencil dots were added with pink water colors over the left white spaces.
So actaully this is just two layers card, but looks much more than just two layers.

I hope that you like my eclipse card  and thanks for visiting the blog !
