Magenta ATC trio with more than dozen products

Hello my dear crafty friends! Welcome to my very last post as Magenta DT member.
It was a lovely year long trip with this company and it's over now.
So as my last tribute to this design team I made an ATC trio using not less then 5 Magenta stencils and 8 Magenta stamps just to make those small and adorable art pieces.
I made the backgrounds with white texture paste and 3 different stencils.
Then I added black glitter over two more Magenta stencils.
When it was dry it was Painted with Prima paints.
Stamped imaged were made over white tissue paper with permanent ink and glued with Gel medium over the textured pieces.
As the last, but no least, part of the design butterflies and bees were stamped over white cardstock, painted, glittered and hand cut.
Here are some larger photos of my ATC:

Live your Dream: huge Mixed Media tag with Magenta

Hello my dear crafty friends!
Irit is here today and I am going to share my huge Mixed Media tag made with a lot of gorgeous Magenta stencils and stamps.

This is a 9*4.5'' tag (almost 22*11 cm) made on the corrugated cardboard base.
The white thick cardstock was covered with texture paste over with one of  TM53 Background Trio stencils. When it was totally dry the mix of mists was added over the tag.
Then some letters were painted with TM219 Alpha and Number duo stencil)-alpha part of it- and teal acrylic paint.

For the next step the stamped images were added over the tag. As it's almost impossible to stamp properly over this thick texture I stamped  Blossom Square image over the white tissue paper with permanent black ink (Ranger Archival) and then glued the stamped and torn pieces over the tag as shown. Actually it was stamped three times and one of the piece was adhered as is in the middle and the other two were glued by pieces on the bottom and on the top.

The " Live your dreams" sentiment was stamped with permanent black ink over white cardstock and then misted and trimmed to fit the colors and the size of the finished tag.
I added the die cut doily that was cut into two pieces over the tag and made the flowers , chipboard and lace cluster as the focal embellishments point of the tag.
I really hope that you like my huge Mixed Media tag and would try to make a similar project using our delicious Magenta products.

July Media post with BoBunny: Wings altered wooden board

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new Mixed Media canvas made for BoBunny using BoBunny and Pentart products with Serendipity paper collection.
I loved the encouragement sentiment from the cardstock and decided to make the whole art piece according ton this sentiment.
So this is not about birds at all. This is about courage and decisions and ability to fly even if your wings are a bit broken.

Natural Beauty, Happy and Dream art boards with SinCity

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my second February post made with the most gorgeous Sin City Stamps.Irit is here again and this is my second February tutorial for you. Today I am going to share three small art pieces made over Mixed Media small  boards  with three similar, but totally different Sin City stamps in three totally different color schemes. The only paint I used here are mists and  I wanted to show you my most favorite way to add stamped images to totally textured surfaces. Product list: Sin City stamps Face profile line art Classic face 3/4 view line art Face 3/4 view strand of hair Natural Beauty word phrase Happy Birthday phrase Old style key Dream word Other products: Mixed Media boards Stencils Texture paste Clear Crackle paste Black permanent ink Mists Tissue paper Ribbon, wool, yarn Scissors White gesso Gel medium Step by step instructions: 1.Cover three Mixed Media boards with white gesso and let it dry.
2.Add a thick layer of Clear texture paste using three different small stencils. Use different stencil on each board.
3.Remove the stencils and let the paste dry. It becomes totally clear when dry.
4.Cover the edges of each board with white crackle paste. Again, the magic word: Let it dry! You see the crackles when it's dry, not before.
5.Stamp all three face stamps using permanent black ink and white tissue paper.
6.Tear each stamped image apart and glue over the boards as shown with Gel medium over and under the stamped piece.
7. Glue the " hair" to each image: the ribbon, the yarn and the natural wool . The colors doesn't matter as we cover the hair with a thick layer of white gesso.
8. Mist each board with different mists. Pick the colors that fit the stamped image mood. For this pretty, but angry lady vintage mix of colors was the best choice.
9.Mist the second board with some shabby, dreamy  colors of mists.
 10. Mist the last board with a mix of lovely pastel colors.
11. Stamp the sentiments for each board in the same  black ink and tissue way. Natural beauty was the best sentiment for the " angry" lady. Dream key was the choice for the second one. For the bright board stamp " Happy Birthday" sentiment and tear the word Happy. Glue all words with Gel Medium. And this is the final project :
And  now to the separate boards:

I really hope that you liked my small art pieces (bigger than ATC, but  not the card size). You can also buy almost all of the stamps  in this Natural Beauty sheet of rubber.  See you again next month!

You are loved card with Honey Bee stamps

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my last Honey Bee Stamps post for August.
This time I made a totally Mixed Media card with tons of mediums, paints, mists and texture and yet it is a totally flat card after all. The Miracles of Mixed Media are here!
I used Rebecca Baer stencil with modelling paste to make the not so much seen background (look close, it's there). Then I  colored the background with a mix of Tattered Angels mists and paints. After the background was all dry I stamped the Honey Bee flowers and a sentiment on white tissue and glued it over the background with Gel Medium.
Stamps used here are Honey Bee Stamps:Country Blooms and  Beautiful life! Perfect, perfect. perfect for any stamping occasion!

Just a few gold sequins were added and this fancy card was all done!
There are much more of my projects on my Instagram account @iritshalom2000 and you are welcome to follow me there!

Inspired by Stamping July release: Words of Inspiration 2

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to our Inspired by Stamping July stamps release.
You can see the full release post for today in Inspired by Stamping blog.
Each day we are going to share one of more stamp sets from this release and for some I even made full written tutorials as for this first set that is called Words of Inspiration.
And I thought that art page is the best possible way for showcase this fantastic set that is so great for your Mixed Media adventures.
I made this art piece with Stencilgirl stencils, texture paste and DecoArt paints.
Then I stamped the sentiment and the flowers from the new release set over white tissue paper and glued them over the page with Gel Medium. It's the best way to add stamped imaged over this glossy, textured surface. Use premanent ink (Ranger Archival or other ) and just keep the white tissue you always get with your  fancy outfits shopping wraps.

I hope you like our first two sets from this new release and come back tomorrow for more showcases of new set stamps.
And remember- when you comment on our posts you have a chance to win $20 GC each and every release day!
