Last week we went to Schnittchen for work-lunch.
A Schnittchen is a slice of bread or a breadroll made with love, kinda. They offer all kinds of handmade/homemade spreads.
The lunch, stated to taste like the best curry London-style was a fail, but the Schnittchen really are yummy.
I got one for dinner. It didn't make it till dinner (also because the curry.... gah).
Funny is "Ich schmier dir eins" means "I make one for ya" but "Ich schmier dir eine" threatens you a slap in the face ;-)
The first really goes for them, to make sure they have this message, too:
Let's see what we'll have for lunch in my old hometown.
