Monday: Work was a bit crazy (what else).
Got
bread for Ingo (counts as sport), had the first salad of the season and
some popcorn with cheese watching a docu on Australia - Blowies without
end inclusive!
Remember...
Aussies are very friendly people, but all the waving just shoos the
little flies away, I can tell you from darn experience!
We would´ve long booked a flight to Perth, but, alas. Corinna...
Tuesday: Quiet day at work!!!
I checked documents, nearly "cried" (really, work properly!) and attended the most boring meeting with C from Barcelona inviting us on a weekly basis - there is always something to laugh!
Boy. I would really love to visit him there! Barcelona!
Worked less than 8 hours, read a fun Braunschweig-book inbetween!
And later a bit sport with DE.
Wednesday: A document had changed - luckily we found out before I gave it to the translation office.
MS Word is still rather new to me so I asked if N or J would like to take my PC.
Nope.
Nope. Argh!!! I had to prove (and did) I remembered what they taught me a while ago and learned new stuff - whilst being watched!
N said, "yupp, like being at the chalkboard in front of the whole class. Just.... with TWO teachers watching 😱🤣"
Later with the customer N gave the intro and... I shared again. And.... had to do it all by myself!
STRESS!!!
Next... new guy from Spain - he got it all explained - I had to jump into "cold water" back then!
Summer came back, off to the balcony to read - no sport. N and also Ingo said: DO!!! ENJOY!
Thursday: J invites to a meeting and to my surprise it goes, "Iris, can you share, please?"
WHAT????!
Yes, it was my "work", but I sent it to J!
If you don´t hear from me again, I got a heart attack or such!
Boy.
I got it all done but I grew a bit older for sure!
You invite, you share your monitor! Mehhh. I thought, LOL.
SUMMER!!! Ingo put up the huge sun-brolly for me and I did not do any sport but enjoyed another Braunschweig-thriller on the balcony.
After, pfffft... the new guy from Spain complained it´s so hot in his place.
After he quit N & I (both "Aussie-proofed") joked about that.
Also I told N what a great job he did with the new guy and that E should´ve done that for me.
N was sorry he did not do this - not his job! - and was happy about the compliment.
See. It´s tough work, but we have fun, too!!
Ingo made a yummy dinner, hmmm.
Friday: Wonders do happen! N shared his monitor for a long while, then me, then the new guy from Spain and then N had it - off to the balcony/garden he sent us!
And then had the first Guido´s 2022, yummmmmmm....
Weekend: Saturday I joined Ingo coffee-shopping, braved up, asked the sales-lady where she got the shoes from and shortly after had the same ones - chic and soooo comphy!
First BBQ of the year...
With which I turn to food, right?
Mum would be so proud!
Sadly Bro let them all go, mine are the last of our family. So fresh, sweet and yummy.
Summer, eh?
Brolly up, can at hand...
Thanks to Elizabeth I fall for new drinks, Kiez is another word for "Reeperbahn (which) is a street and entertainment district in Hamburg's St. Pauli district, one of the two centres of Hamburg's nightlife" (wiki). Alster is a mix of lemon and beer.
"There is always a Daddy, too! And!!! You forgot: Ingo played mailman again!"
Thank you, Kathy!!! You made my day yesterday! 😍 To bees (who gave me all the strawberries) and honey, oh so sweet, I loved this!
And maybe it´s not only Kathy who wonders about the daily Lion, so here goes:
It is told he went to Africa and saved a real Lion´s life who never left his side and came hence back with his human to Braunschweig.
The Duke was not very creative and named the Lion... well... Henry. "The Lion soon became the heraldic animal of Braunschweig". (wiki).
You find heaps of Lions here, hence, but I think I presented most already, so FB is another source.
To Henry! And bloggy-friends, and snail mail!
