Today I join Rain´s Thursday Art and Dinner Date with "Sunrise".
Quite fitting for this date.
I was in the office at Volkswagen Wolfsburg and we got no info at all as the CNN-Website was "dead". Hectical phone calls were made. Can´t believe it´s so long ago and still so fresh.
So... let us rather go to a country that is free:
Not into Rösti?
How about this, a black bean burger:
"Germany to scare: 30 ruins of days long gone
Schlosshotel Waldlust, Freudenstadt, Baden-Württemberg
This former grand hotel in the Black Forest once hosted royalty and celebrities – today, it's more likely to be seen in German horror films. The Schlosshotel Waldlust, built in 1902, has had numerous owners over its more than 120 years of existence. Among them was a woman known only as "Adele B.", who died a violent death here in 1949. She is said to still haunt the corridors.
After her death, the building was converted into a military hospital, but it was finally closed in 2005 and has since fallen into disrepair. It remains a cultural monument."

Addendum: I love and didn´t know what Elizabeth commented: "We refer to today as Patriot Day. The day we came together as a nation."
