Pelvic floor release
Where are my tired, busy mamas at? It’s been a while since I share one of these series! Comment MAMA if you need this stretch right now! I know I do! This is an incredible restorative stretch to do after a long day of all things mothering, baby wearing, nursing, or working at a desk. The truth is that everything in our bodies is connected! ⤵️
👉🏼The way we stand, walk and move our bodies can create symptoms that show up in our feet, knees, hips, pelvic floor and low back. That can seem overwhelming, but the good news is that we can also get improvements in all those areas at the same time by changing our movement patterns. The exercise in the video is really a gentle lunge that can help open up the fronts of your hips so you have less hip tightness and can stand more centred with ease. This helps decompress both the feet and the pelvic floor, so that your whole body can work better. Oh, and it feels amazing! 🤩 Get more detailed instructions (and other essential exercises to help you improve your body’s strength, mobility & function so you can keep moving and enjoying life) in my Pelvic Floor+ program ✨🔗
