We had this pounded into our head since we were little kids by our parents. EAT YOUR FRUITS and VEGETABLES !!! Some of us couldn't leave the table until we finished our veggies....some of us thought that fruits and veggies were a "punishment"...and some of us still carry that resentment of our "fruits and veggies" into becoming adults. Do we know why our parents pounded that into our heads ?? BECAUSE THEY WERE RIGHT
