I spent two years making this calendar. In terms of dates and observances, it is styled to be as pre-1960's as possible. It lists all the saint days, and within the wheel of the year has saints, major and minor holidays, the periods of the year (lent, advent, etc.), and more. This would make an excellent gift - not only for someone who is Catholic - I've already received positive feedback from Anglicans and Lutherans who have purchased it.
