Puffed Wheat Cake...the best!!!
I source around and tweaked a recipe to find one that was chocolaty, chewy and stuck together well. This is what I came up with. In a saucepan mix together.. 2/3 cup corn syrup 1 cup lightly packed brown sugar 5 Tbs. cocoa powder...bring these three items to a boil. Add 1/2 cup butter then bring back to a rapid boil for about 1 minute. Pour over 8 cups of puffed wheat. Press into 9X13 pan. (wet your hands then press gently). Picture shows a double batch. Enjoy!!
