Vatican Museums

The Vatican Museums are simply amazing. You could spend days here, strolling through the art, Etruscan artifacts, Roman sculpture, even the Roman funerary tablets in the basement. If you can, plan two days visiting the Vatican, so you can take the time to savor those things that really interest you. Or, plan on coming back for another trip to the Eternal City! As of 2022, the free last Sunday at the Vatican Museums is back, although you need to book tickets in advance.
