Starwalker half of what makes up Rain World, besides its stellar art direction and method of storytelling, is the music. hearing Sundown (Theme I) in the menu was an instant tone setter and remains one of the best first impressions i've ever gotten from a video game, and having that sad, yet hopeful vibe developed on with the introductory cutscene and the player's first steps into this decrepit world is just so well done. hands down the best soundtrack for a video game ever made! Primate has skills! 🩷 Favorite track: Stargazer.

Novid Atmospheric perfection. This song encapsulates the feeling of going somewhere that has been left to rot. You don't know what you'll find, you don't hope to find anything. Yet you delve into the depths... Favorite track: Black Moonlight.

no other game does electronic music like Rain World. the way the story is translated into the tracks is insane, done more than wonderfully with a variety of instrumentals ranging from angelic synthesizers that stretch like gum, to tracks that sound like the musical manifestations of a forgotten world doomed to rot. i don't think there could have possibly been a better team for this ost- Skidmore and Progfox are my favorites. shoutout to New Else VIII for sounding like Daemon btw. insane callback Starwalker
