Corent model routing

Corent’s brain uses @typesafeai Jev now. Not to generate the output, to make the decision before the output gets generated. When a request comes into Corent, you don’t need to tell us which model to use. You send the prompt, the workload and the quality level. Then Jev helps us decide what that request actually needs…

How it uses Jev

Jev uses prompt, workload, and quality level to assess a route and confidence; low confidence falls back safely.

App workflow

  1. Collect request context

Corent supplies the prompt, workload, and quality level.

  2. Assess route and confidence

Jev decides what the request needs and how confident it is in that route.

  3. Set workload threshold

Confidence requirements can vary with workload cost and expected quality.

  4. Route or fall back

If confidence is too low, Corent stops guessing and uses a safer fallback.

Why it is interesting

A confidence-aware routing decision lets the application choose a model before generation and fall back when the route is uncertain. The choice is made from request needs rather than a fixed default.
