Jevton

A town simulation with residents, businesses, public decisions and disasters.

Added to Jevfast

How it uses Jev

Jev makes recurring decisions across a town simulation: resident activities, work effort and spending; health and social checks; council priorities; road traffic; shop prices and taxes; and the newspaper lead. Probabilities are returned as decisions without generated text, according to the post.

App workflow

  1. Represent the town

The simulation includes residents, roads, businesses, a council, and a newspaper.

  2. Make recurring decisions

Each hour Jev chooses resident actions and several town-level values such as traffic, prices, taxes, and the lead story.

  3. Advance the world

The simulation applies those decisions and models consequences such as illness, shop closures, migration, and disasters.

Why it is interesting

The same decision-making pattern is applied across many interacting simulation systems, including resident behavior, civic priorities, markets, and events.
