This album’s dynamic tonality defies typical metal. The guitar tone is crystalline, resonant, and evolving — almost storytelling. While virtuosic, the technicality is balanced, avoiding contrivance common to solo guitar records. Each song's progression is enthralling, delivering chills even after years. Spacious, delicate passages are breathtaking, making the brief opus feel almost bittersweet in its brevity. This is why I hunt for music.
