The synergy between Josh Jacobson and Tristan De Liege on their latest Eclipse EP is palpable, inviting listeners into an intriguing world of forward-thinking electronica.

Joining Tristan is Josh Jacobson, a Los Angeles-based composer and electronic producer who fuses dance rhythms with reflective, piano-driven arrangements. His career has evolved through distinct phases, from his time as an electronic producer and touring DJ to more recently, captivating listeners with his soothing, piano-centered releases.

Tristan de Liège has gained a reputation for his borderless approach to crafting music as he seamlessly channels inspiration from as many sources as possible. Throughout his nine solo albums, Tristan has explored various styles, weaving elements of jazz, classical, West African folk music, and Indonesian gamelan in diverse and creative ways.

On Eclipse, Tristan’s flair for downtempo paired with Josh’s signature piano-driven sound offers listeners a meditative listening experience with an edge. Tracks like “Solar Wind” and “Binary Star” are sonically androgynous, prompting listeners to submerge in feelings of hope and melancholy. Warm textures, compelling rhythms, and emotionally rich piano sections make up the experience of Eclipse and it stands as a one-of-a-kind journey into relaxation and reflection.
