Katerina Pantok on Instagram: "HORTENSIEN STECKLINGE | Nach dem Rückschnitt lassen sich Rispen- und Schneeballhortensien am einfachsten vermehren. Rückschnitt nicht gleich wegwerfen, sondern die besten Triebe behalten. Einen kräftigen Trieb nehmen, unterhalb des ersten Knospenpaares gerade und oberhalb des zweiten Knospenpaares schräg abschneiden, die Rinde am unteren Stück abkratzen und mit dieser Seite in frische Hortensienerde setzen. Aus manchen Trieben lassen sich so 2-3 Stecklinge ziehen. Regelmäßiges Gießen nicht vergessen und nach 6 -8 Wochen kommen die Stecklinge ins Beet. Ich werde euch wieder auf dem Laufenden halten. Bitte beachtet, dass Pflanzen ihre Zeit brauchen, um zu wachsen und es klarerweise nicht schon im ersten Jahr eine große Pflanze werden kann ;). Speichern nicht

By giving them a good drink into water allows to stay hydrated and happier for longer. If it does start to wilt, then cleaning the stems and giving it a fresh cut so that all the water goes into the flower when it starts drinking. Then boil some water and pour into a vase or jar that won’t crack and place the hydrangea into the vase.
