1967 Two Wheeled, Self Balancing Car.
The one and only Gyro-X, A two-wheeled prototype vehicle, from the Lane Motor Museum. The car was developed in 1966 and 1967 by Tom Summers and Alex Tremulis. Alex Tremulis was Ford's styling director, While Summers was a gyroscope expert. This car was purchased by Jeff Lane in 2011 and it took 6 years to restore by Michael Hubey, who worked for Lane and made it work. Considering its historical value, they decided to keep the max speed to 30mph, which is still awesome for a 56 year-old two wheeled car ➡️ Follow us to discover more!
