a woman is pouring ingredients into a bowl on the counter for halloween candy corn salad

With just a few simple ingredients you can have this... | By Wonder and Raw | Okay you have 3 eggs. Also can someone tell me why eggs come in different colors? Like that's weird. And very odd. Alright. Anyway. Reese's pieces. Three eggs and we're going to mix. Alright you guys. Be honest with me. You guys say Reese's pieces or do you say Reese's pieces because I think I'm guilty of that second one. Alright so you're going to mix this up. Coat them as well as you can just like that. Alright once that's and coated. You're going to grab your choice of cake. I have golden butter cake. I think that'll compliment nicely. So I'm going to drop that. Just like that in there. Give another mix. Kind of coating it with the eggs. Just like that. Alright so this recipe on the box cake. Calls for a cup of water. I like to use a cup of milk. I feel like it tastes more gourmet like that. So I'm going to go grab milk really quick because I forgot it like I usually do. Oh my oven is pretty good. It's sweating. Alright so we have 1 cup milk. We're going to pour that in. Just like that. Perfect. Alright and then you're going to mix this until you get a cake like consistency but obviously with some Reese's pieces in there. So basically this box cake called for a third cup of butter or margarine but we basically replace that with those Reese's pieces. So mix it mix mix it mixing until you get that cake like consistency. Alright so once that's and mixed up. I'm going to grab a handful of these small Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. So obviously this is a very Reese's themed cake. We're not going to break them up. We're going to put them in whole and we're going to mix them in because this is going to be the fun little surprise when you cut into the cake. Hm. See if you get one. It's like a lottery. Alright. Once that's nice and mixed in. We are going to grab our cake pan and put that in there. Alright. So we have that cake pan there. Pour that in there. This is actually looking like the color of the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup like logo like that orange so that came out perfectly. Alright we're going to pour that in. Alright, once you got that, I have my oven preheated to three fifty. I'm going to pop this in there for 30 minutes and then I will show you how we're going to make our topping while that's in there. Alright, while that's in the oven, I have my vanilla cream and chocolate cream frosting and I put them in some piping bags. You can definitely do this with Ziplocs if you don't have a piping bag. Alright, so I'm going to cut this kind of a thickish. I don't know if you can see it but I have saran wrap set right here and what I'm going to do is with that piping bag, I'm going to make a nice straight line kind of thick. Let's see. I think that should be fine like that and we're going to make a nice straight line going back. I'm going to actually also have some peanut butter, some squeezable peanut butter because again, we are keeping with that Reese's Peanut Butter vibe. So, we're going to go and we're going to squeeze right next to it. And last but not least, I have my white frosting. I'm going to cut that one up as well. Same idea right next to it. Alright, we're going to squeeze a good amount like so. Is that not looking like chocolatey goodness? So, we're going to do chocolate again, peanut butter and white frosting. Oh my goodness, saute it. Now, what you're going to do is you're going to grab that little long spatula or chopstick, whatever you have really. We're going to go, we're going to give it a little press and just a slide and press like so. So what that's going to do is kind of blend them together but without actually really mixing them. Kinda making it a little longer and a little bit more of like a consistent line. So what you're going to do now is you're going to grab that saran wrap like so. And what you're going to do basically now is you're going to kind of roll it into itself. There we go. Gently down the string. Look at that. Oh my gosh. Alright. So, once that's like that, what you're going to do is now you're going to really roll it up like so It looks cute. Doesn't it? Grab that saran wrap. Kinda give it a turn in on itself. And voila. You have your piping ready. And when that cake is ready we're going to just cut the tip. Put it in a piping bag and it's going to look gorgeous and taste delicious. Alright. Nice and baked. We're going to pop this open. Like so. Oh love that sound. Shimmy shimmy. Sorry. There you go. So unsatisfying. But she's out. Alright. So I have it on top of a rack and a pan. Because now what I'm do is really make it look like a peanut butter cup. I'm going to coat it in chocolate. Let's go. Let's do it. Make sure that all of those ends going down. Oh my god. How's it looking in the front? I can't see. Is it all covered? Almost. Okay. That's good. Right there? Okay. Beautiful. Alright. Do a nice softening on the top. Make a nice, clean layer for our decorating later. I'm going to take a bite of this. Oh I'm so excited. I just want to pick it up like a big peanut butter cup and just take a bite. Okay. Now that it's nice and smooth. Smooth. Ready for our decorating. We're going to let it cool off. Okay. Alright. Nice and hard. So I should be able to take this off because I still have that plate on the bottom. Let's get this guy a bring a plate in just so we can quickly decorate and bite into this bad boy. That is a ginormous. That's so good. Reese's peanut butter cup. Okay. So, next what we're going to do is I went and grabbed my fun little frosting. I'm very excited as well. Alright. So, what I'm going to do is I'm going to grab a piping bag just like that. Cut that there. I'm going to place it in that piping bag. Just like that. So, we're going to cut this open like that. Easy yes, there we go. Alright. So, let's stud up. Oh gosh, I'm so nervous. Okay. Okay. So, that's going to be a flat one so that I can place some peanut butter cups on there after. So, we're going to do opposites of those really quick and then we'll do something a little bit more fun. So, let's do four of these. Just flat. That looks cute. Mm hmm. Alright. Alright. Look at that. Let's see if I can swirl a little. Okay, here we go. Here we go. Let's give it a nice little swirl Alright, so those opposite ones will be a fun more swirl that we can keep those exposed because they're kind of cute. Oh my gosh. They kind of look like s'mores. Yeah. Pop. Alright. So, the ones that are none of them are flat but some of them don't have a swirl. So, we're going to go and we're going to grab a full peanut butter cup and give it a nice press down just like that. We'll do that one, that one, this one, And this one here. Oh my gosh. How fun is that? I want to make more swirls. Do it. Where? Alright. I'm going to just do a big swirl because I really like the way these colors look. So we're going to do a fun big swirl like that. Oh my gosh. So cool. Gorgeous and wait I think what I want to do is completely keep it wrapped so I kind of like that gold and I think I'm just going to stick that one right in the middle well kind of middleish not really super middle ah oh my gosh this looks so yummy I I can't wait I need to cut into this right now go ahead okay alright let's cut into this bad boy I'm going to get a piece that has a big peanut butter cup as well so we're going to do back here so good. I'm so excited. Ooh. Oh gosh I'm so clumsy sometimes. Okay. Here we go. Oh my god. I got a peanut butter cup. Look at that. Alright, let me slide that onto my plate. Get that guy. Look at that. Wow. Look at that. Oh my gosh. Oh I forgot to have a fork. Alright. With my hands it is. Let's pick up this bad boy. Like a peanut butter cup. The inside looks like peanut butter. Look at that. Okay. Let's try this out. Mm. How is it? Mm. Delicious huh? Delicious. Oh my gosh. Mm Oh I hope you guys like that one because I love that one. Wow. Look at the inside of that. Good job. Thank you.
