Now, I'm from Maryland and if you're from this area, it's better known as Maryland and we love our crab dip. Let's get started. So, here I have eight ounces of salt and cream cheese. Gonna use 1/ 3 cup of sour cream, also athird cup of mayo. Now, I'm somebody who likes their crab dip very meaty. I'm going to mix that in already. Gonna add garlic powder. If you don't know this, what are you doing? Cuz you can't forget the old bay. I do about a half a tablespoon of Dijon mustard, one tablespoon of hot sauce, three to four ounces of shredded white cheddar cheese, three to four ounces of smoked rare cheese. Now, when you go to restaurants here in Maryland, you're going to order the crab dip. They're not going to have all these ingredients in it. At most, you're just going to at cheese, sour cream, cream cheese, crab dip, and Old Bay and that's it. They're not going to add all the hot sauce and garlic and onion powder. They're not going to do all that in the restaurant. I'm adding in juice from a half of lemon. You find that a lot of people will also add Worcestershire sauce but I don't do that. I can never taste it. I mean, am I by myself? I don't add Worcestershire sauce when I do crab cakes nor crab dip. You know, I'm just a I'm just a cook. I'm no professional chef. Yes, ma'am. Yes, sir. And here comes that star. One pound of local jumbo crab meat. I personally do not pick through it. Ooh. It smells so good. I'm actually going to taste it. This is so good. I'm going to add a little bit more hot sauce and a little bit more obey. Always fold in your crab meat. You don't want to break up those lumps. Now I'm the queen of freshly grate your own cheese but I want to use these up. So grating your own cheese is best. Add a little bit of Obey on top. Now bake at 400 degrees until your cheese gets all bubbly and brown. And Gonna let this rest for five to 10 minutes. Here has some pretzel bites I bought in from Walmart. Add this to my oven-safe dish. I'm going to put these in the oven to warm up while the oven's off. Let's break him to it. Lord. I'm going to eat right out of the pan unless you're coming over. First bite for you. Goodness. This is going to be probably the best batch that I've ever made. It is so meaty and so cheesy. I'm going to take them out. I haven't used Grayere in such a long time. It just gives that smokey bite flavor. I am almost speechless. Give it a try. It's so good.
