Sach Klof
Originally Designed and Rare Curated pieces for the Folk. Sach Klof unites the super future with the ancient past, sewing a bridge between black americana history and the world that awaits our reign...
Sack Klof’s main goal is to repurpose a destructive history and image to instill positive reinforcement and an incredible sense of self-esteem and style.
The term “sach klof” is derived from a verse in the book of revelations in the christian bible, Revelation 11:1-14 “two witnesses with be clothed in sackcloth and from their mouthes fire will spew out as they prophesy over the end times....etc”. Sackcloth was a style of coarse clothing worn during times of morning and typically was made from goats hair or hemp.
Sach Klof keeps to the spirit of its original purpose as the african american is in mourning for the injustices that still plague our beautiful people. These designs and found pieces are made and curated with a message of telling our story while also destroying stereotypes and creating a new Black Social Theory.
Sach Klof’s fashion is purposefully based on blue collar worker attire, the antebellum south, the jim crow era, as well as high haute couture fashion, science fiction, ancient Egyptian and olmec mysteries, and the apocalypse - which means the revealing of something hidden.
The original designed pieces will be worker uniforms as well as: masks, black americana quilted track suits, and urban warfare attire. The first original collection will be called “The Brown Bag Series” and will lay the ground work for the theme and look of the brand.
Sach Klof is Cash for the Folk. The clothing will be affordable and thus is giving ‘cash’ back to the ‘folk’ who build our world.
Sach Klof will create a style of collage, combining sewing, stitching, painting, and printing to turn fashion pieces into canvases. Taking a page from black american quilting, using scraps from other fashion styles, cultures, and times as well as repurposing thrift-store clothing will be the signature of Sach Klof’s brand.
