These 40 minutes were technically wasted… There’s still work to be done on all these net layers and I’ll have to take it all apart to do that next step. But — sometimes you have to do the unnecessary to keep yourself encouraged and motivated to keep going! ✨ Now to move onto ALL the embellishment for this Bubble Dress! #glinda #sewing

Never have I ever — made a complete skirt out of paper. BUT, it was so worth it when figuring out the complicated skirt panels for Glinda’s bubble dress. With this step, I saw light at the end of the tunnel. I think we’re very close to attempting another full size fabric pattern... and making some progress with the bodice!

Ahhh!! With this 4th attempt, I can finally say the pattern for Glinda’s bubble dress is complete! Well — 95% there. Just a few minor adjustments! (And yes, I know there are gaps in the back skirt, I forgot to arrange them after pinning the bodice on me!)
