I'm so enjoying this quilting time and the learning of FMQ that is going with it. I am however going to cheat and share two of my favorite tutorials. how to bind a quilt using a sewing machine with pictures and instructions on the front

Most quilters find the binding step to be the most time-consuming part of making a quilt but it doesn't have to be if you use your sewing machine. This method is a popular way to finish a quilt that both saves time (compared to hand sewing) and completes the quilt by giving it a nicely finished border edge. I thought I would do a little experiment to show you different sizes and what they look like all sewn up!Here, I have four different sized strips: 2”, 2¼”, 2½” and 3”.
