How does this work? ♥️ Refraction happens when light changes direction, or bends, when it moves from one material to another 🧡 Light traveling through air changes direction when it hits water 💛 This makes it look like the colors magically disappear! 💌 Save and share with a friend for inspiration Follow @learningfromplaying for more easy fun activities #learningfromplaying #learningthroughplay #learningbyplaying #learningeveryday #welovesimpleplay #diy #todd Water Refraction, Easy Fun Activities, Refraction Experiment, Water Experiments For Kids, Grandchildren Activities, Rainbow Experiment, Water Experiments, Child Activities, Rainbow Activities

Cynthia on Instagram: "Leaf propelled by ink experiment 🖋️ Super easy to do and so cool to watch! For this experiment all you need is : - container with water (bowl, plate) - leaves - pens (take the pen apart so you can add the ink to the leaves) This happens because of Marangoni effect, the ink has a lower surface tension than water, lowering the surface tension behind the leaf. As the water still has a large surface tension, it pulls the leaf forward! #scienceexperiment #scienceexperimentsforkids #scienceexperiments #scienceforlittles #stemforkids #stemactivities #toddlerlearning #activitiesfortoddlers #homeschoolpreschool" Leaf Experiments For Preschool, Experiments To Do With Preschoolers, Water Ideas For Kids, Fun Experiments For Kids At Home, Pre K Experiments, Easy Experiments For Kids Preschool, Leaf Steam Ideas, Leaves Activity For Toddlers, Leaf Science Experiments Preschool
