Kakamigahara, Gifu

Kakamigahara - 各務原 - Kakamigahara City is in southern Gifu Prefecture and serves as a commuter hub to the cities of Gifu and Nagoya. Historically, the city was a post station on the Nakasendo trail that connected Tokyo and Kyoto. Kakamigahara grew as an industrial city and developed due to the presence of the Japan Self-Defense Forces. Tajimi - 多治見 - Tajimi Citys sits on the border between Gifu and Aichi Prefectures and is known throughout Japan for Mino-yaki (Mino ware). It’s an industry dating back more than 1,300 years.
