Even at 80 years old, Pharoah Sanders played his tenor sax with the conviction of a gospel preacher. Every second of this album is arrestingly beautiful. As far as I'm concerned, this is essential listening for anyone who considers themselves a fan of music. 3sidesinasquare
James Smith's latest release as Good Good Blood is a trippy acid-folk soundtrack for uncertain times, interwoven with wonder and longing. Bandcamp New & Notable May 6, 2020
Another gorgeous new LP from Sydney’s Watchglass, this one branching out slightly into what Jon Hassell once called “fourth world music.” Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 29, 2025

The great underlying instrumentation paired with Florence's droll stream of consciousness lyrics make this album stand out. It feels so personal and confessional. Favorite tracks are Strong Feelings and Leafy. I've heard Scratchard Lanyard on alt radio and love that one as well. tofupotpie
