STARRING FIONA'S 7TH

I cannot believe that my little granddaughter will be seven years already on the 15th; yesterday
we traveled up to my son's to see her and bring a pre-birthday cake and presents...

Surprise!!!!
.
.
.
.
.Yes, it's for you ;)))))))FIONA

and.....................
 chocolate with vanilla frosting
now, how did Grand-mere know that's
what you wanted???? Just Magical, right?

Question to Mommy the day before:
Fiona: Grand-mere and Grand-pere are coming tomorrow,
right?"
Mommy: Yes they are...

Fiona: do you think they remember that my birthday's coming?
Mommy:  Maybe....if you're really lucky..;))))

Don't forget to Make a wish while you cut now.....
                  Don't forget to light the "7" Grand-pere...;)))

Proud Mom and Dad snapping pictures

And here is Willa --
"I love cake, too, can I have TWO pieces?"

The two sisters are just so sweet together..
.(ahem, Mommy here:  "Sometimes...hahaha)
We had a wonderful bbq for luncheon and a good "catch-up"  oh and
Fi says:   "I beat Grand-mere twice in rummy..tee hee"

  1. Awe, your granddaughters are so cute. Sounds like a great day celebrating Fiona's birthday.

I wish I was on a roll. I've hit one road block after another in the sewing room.

  4. How can it be that Fiona is 7? So my brother's SIL has a little girl they named her Fiona and they call her Fifi. I just adore her she is always happy and smiling. Great blocks, glad you got to go spend a birthday with her.
