Hand Quilting finished on this one
AND
on
So, tomorrow I can begin machine quilting
the holding stitches on the
long border rows along
the Snow Geese strips
and the borders...
I just quilted around each butterfly
and then the Snow Geese centers
by hand using DMC #8
Perle Cotton threads.

So pretty!
ReplyDeleteThey both look lovely.
ReplyDeleteI have got the 4 episodes of Roadkill recorded, but haven't watched yet. I don't like having to wait a week between episodes.
Those are so pretty, Julierose! I really like the snow geese borders!
ReplyDeleteGood job. You are doing awesome.
ReplyDeleteDid you like Roadkill? We skipped it, but we do have PBS Passport so we may yet catch up......Your butterfly project has been such fun to follow.
ReplyDeleteCool blocks, so impressed you are hand quilting them! Can't wait to see the whole project come together!!
ReplyDeleteMust say that 'Roadkill' is a rather interesting title! Your wee quilts are looking perfect - I can imagine the excitement when they're received.
ReplyDeleteThose are gorgeous, Julierose.
ReplyDeleteThat is just the perfect amount of hand quilting on those butterfly quilts. So pretty!
ReplyDeleteA pretty quilt. I like your common backgrounds on each side. It adds both scrappiness and cohesion.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work, Julierose!
ReplyDeleteThe borders are just right for your butterfly, the geese really frame the butterfly so well before the last border. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYour butterflies are gorgeous and I love a Flying/Snow Geese border. Roadkill was brilliant! xx
