Southern Live Oak Tree – Majestic Beauty for Your Landscape
About the Bloom
The Southern Live Oak Tree does not produce blooms, but its evergreen leaves are a sight to behold. With dark green, leathery foliage that remains on the tree year-round, this tree offers a lush, verdant backdrop for your garden.
What to Know About the Plant
The Southern Live Oak Tree is an evergreen tree that can grow up to 80 feet tall and spread out just as wide, creating a grand presence in your landscape. Its branches are known to gracefully sweep down towards the ground, creating a picturesque canopy that provides ample shade and beauty.
Enhancing your Fruitscape
Pair the Southern Live Oak Tree with fruit trees like Citrus, such as Lemon or Orange trees, to create a stunning contrast between the dark green foliage of the oak and the bright, colorful fruits of the citrus trees. Berry plants like Blackberries or Strawberries can also complement the Southern Live Oak Tree, adding pops of color and delicious treats to your garden. Tropical plants like Banana trees or Pineapple plants can add a touch of exoticism to your landscape design, while herbs like Mint or Basil can provide aromatic foliage that enhances the sensory experience of your outdoor space.

Shipping Information
Before Your Plants Arrive: You can find many guides on unpacking, planting, & care, on our growing guides page.
The Journey From Our Nursery to Your Door: We NEVER ship our plants bare root. Your plant will travel in the very container in which it was nurtured. We thoroughly prune and water them before packing, and make sure they’re well wrapped to retain moisture during transit. It’s as though you’ve personally collected them from our nursery!
Choose Your Ship Date: We understand you’ll want to be available when your plant arrives. Our checkout process features a handy calendar that allows you to choose the Monday on which you want your plant to ship. Depending on your location, you’ll likely receive your plant by Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of that week. Once shipped, UPS will generate a tracking number and send it to the email you provided. You can then follow your plant’s journey and ensure someone is available to unpack it on arrival day.
