Sweet Sketch Wednesday Sketch #118-49

Congratulations On Your Engagement

Two Hearts Beat As One

Good morning everyone, it's count down here in New Zealand and it's only two days to go until the opening of the Rugby World Cup being held in the main cities in New Zealand.
It's 23 years ago that it was here last and that New Zealand won the cup.  We have one of the best Rugby teams in the world the Might 'ALL BLACKS'  and we haven't won the cup since so they have every advantage this year as they are the home team and have the home crowd to back them,  so hopefully the World Cup will be ours again by the end of October as it only happens every 4 years.

  My boys can't wait.

GO THE MIGHTY ALL BLACKS

Today is Wednesday and that's got to mean two things it's the middle of the week and it's

Congratulations to our winner this week and our top 3, wow what a job having to choose from all those wonderful entries as there were so many amazing cards and such talented ladies.  I was absolutely stunned with everyone's creativity.

This week Arlana has an oldie but a goodie, it's a sketch from the past and here's a sneak look at what I entered Sketch #49

"Oh how times have changed and so has my work."

SWEET SKETCH WEDNESDAY SKETCH #111

PRETTY SHOES

Hi everyone, well it's my last day in Australia today with my family.  It's school holiday's and we should have been on the ski slopes of New Zealand rather than being in Australia and getting a little winter sunshine.  As our temperatures have been really warm in New Zealand there isn't as much snow as there should be so might have a few days on the mountain when we get home and the boys go back to school on 1st August.

Today is Wednesday and it's another Sweet Sketch Wednesday.
Hopefully scheduler will have been kind to me again this week and posted my card when it should have and on time.

Congratulations to our winner this week and our top 3 there were some amazing cards.

This week we have another wonderful sketch from Arlana which you'll love and I loved working with it.

Check out what our design team Diva's have created just for you this week using Sally-Ann's images from DigiStamp Boutique over here at Sweet Sketch Wednesday.

Card Recipe
Base: White SU
Card: Black & Green Bazzill, silver glitter paper
Design Paper: Unknown
Image: Petty Shoes from DigiStamp Boutique
Colour Medium: Copics, Silver atyou Spica by Copics
Sentiment: PC generated using Black Chancery font
Tools: Cuttlebug, Nestability Deckled Rectangle, Fancy Labels 2, Classic Oval, Classic Scalloped Oval, Pop Dots, Glue Dots, Silver Ink and finger dabber for the edges.  Martha Stewart Rose leaf punch.

Embellishments: Roses I bought at SENDZ I just had to have them as I love this green.  Gems, Silver Twine I used for the hanging of the shoes. Silver glitter hearts for the shoes. This lovely silver ribbon I found in Silver and Gold I did put green ribbon on the card and it was too much so that's why I went with the silver.

I love this card and it was Jeannie that gave me the idea for this card as I fell in love with her card using this same image a few months ago.

I feel a little bit of a cheat this week as there was very little colouring but the silver applique took me ages  to stick down but I love the finish.

Wishing everyone a great week and have fun crafting.
