Fat Pumpkins

12x9 watercolor on Canson 140 lb cold press paper done over this past weekend from one of my pumpkin photos shot in downtown Ft. Worth last fall.  I liked the twisted stem on this big fat one.

Golden Melon

22x15 watercolor on 140 lb cold press paper with DaVinci/Daniel Smith paints.  A collection of fall gourds cluster together in old iron urn.  I particularly like their twisted stems, leaves, and vines.

Pepper Basket

4x7 watercolor of an old beaten up basket I saw while in Ruidoso years ago, holding ripe red chile peppers.  This basket was at a nursery greenhouse called 4 Seasons and I liked the shadows on the pavement and bright sunlit area to the right lower side.  Paper support is Strathmore 140 lb cold press with Daniel Smith paints.
