Moiben–Kuserwo Water Line: Restoring Service to the Community. Moiben–Kuserwo has long been a problematic area where water was not reaching the community. Though the pipeline was initially installed in 2021, it remained non-functional, leaving local residents without a reliable water supply. In 2025, the issue was finally resolved through the supply and installation of 240 meters of 160 PN 25 HDPE pipes, designed for durability and high pressure. Danco Capital’s intervention, led by Engineer Titus Kipkorir, worked closely with North Rift Valley Water Works Development Agency to address and resolve the issue in totality, restoring much-needed service to the area. Danco provided 12.2 kilometers of High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) pipes that were selected for their durability, flexibility, and resistance to corrosion, making them well-suited for Kakamega’s varied terrain. Jakimo Infrastructure oversaw the construction of the system, ensuring a reliable connection between Soi Springs to over 200 households. Upon completion, the infrastructure was formally handed over to the Kakamega County Water and Sanitation Company- Kacwasco in December, 2024. The company will be responsible for its ongoing operation and maintenance. This ensures the long-term sustainability of the investment and continued access to clean water for the community.

At the recently concluded Water and Sanitation Providers Association Conference held at PRIDEINN PARADISE BEACH RESORT, CONVENTION AND SPA Hotel in Shanzu, Mombasa, the Cabinet Secretary for Water, Sanitation and Irrigation, Eng. Eric Murithi Mugaa, joined sector leaders and stakeholders in exploring innovative solutions to improve water service delivery. Danco Capital Limited, represented by Managing Director Mr. Sachin Dhanani conducted a live demonstration of smart water meters powered by the innovative solution by Diehl Metering featuring Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) technology. The demonstration showed how radio communication enables real-time meter readings, seamlessly integrating smart data into utility billing systems. This innovative technology is designed to improve billing accuracy, reduce non-revenue water, and enhance overall network management. The live demonstration at the District Metered Area (DMA) set up at Pride Inn Hotel offered participants a firsthand look at how smart metering can transform utility operations and deliver better services to customers across Kenya.

Danco Capital Limited partnered with Jakimo Infrastructure to implement a World Vision Kenya –funded water project in Wote, Machakos County. As a contractor Jakimo Infrastructure oversaw the design, construction and procurement of quality materials to ensure the success of the project. Danco was contracted to supply 8-kilometer network of durable High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) pipes for the critical last-mile distribution. The project benefits about 500 people in the region. Wote, which is located in the semi- arid area in Kenya, requires pipes that can sustain high temperatures and direct sunlight. The HDPE pipes were selected for their durability, flexibility, and are UV protection which is best suited for the rural terrain, ensuring a reliable water supply even in challenging conditions.
