What is Stash to Sparkle Crochet Blog Hop?

This crochet blog hop is all about using up your yarn stash to create colourful and creative crochet projects, just in time for Christmas or the holiday season.

We’ve designed 8 stash-busting crochet projects, inspired by four festive colour palettes, to make your yarn stash shine, and to add a handmade touch to your holiday gifting.

Each week throughout November 2025, we’ll release two new free crochet patterns on our blogs — one from each designer — along with the colour inspiration palette, so you can mooch in your stash and use what you already have.

All the patterns are quick, achievable, and free to access on our blogs, so adding a handmade touch to your Christmas will cost you nothing.

Meet the Stash to Sparkle Crochet Designers

Lynne Rowe – knitcrochetcreate.co.uk

Carmen Heffernan – anniedesigncrochet.com

Together, we’ve created this crochet along to help you make your yarn stash sparkle and shine.

Why We Created the Stash to Sparkle Crochet Blog Hop

We both love the challenge of using up our yarn stash — and we wanted to design something fun, creative, and achievable before the busy festive season.

Stash to Sparkle is:

  • stash-busting challenge – use what you already have, along with our free patterns.
  • creative outlet – play with colour and texture.
  • cost-free event – all patterns are free.
  • community crochet along – share your progress on socials, using the hashtag #StashToSparkle

All patterns are free on our blogs. Just grab your yarn and crochet along.

Everyone is welcome to join and crochet along at their own pace.

The Crochet Schedule

The Blog Hop runs from Saturday 1st  November for four weeks.
Each week we’ll share two new free crochet patterns (one from each designer) on our blogs.

Don't miss any projects - you can sign up to our email lists to get direct links and updates each week.
