Forest Lake teen missing since May has been found

UPDATE 07/21/23:
The missing teen has been found safe, authorities announced Friday.
Forest Lake Police released the following statement:
It is with great pleasure that we inform the community Desiray Kappes, previously reported as a missing person, has been found healthy and is cooperating with investigators. We are grateful for the numerous law enforcement agencies, organizations, and those with information who have assisted in locating Desiray. Due to the on-going investigation, further information may not be available throughout the weekend.
The Forest Lake Police Department is requesting the public’s help in finding 14-year-old Desiray Kappes.
Kappes was last seen leaving her home on a bike on Friday, around 8:30 a.m. Authorities don’t know where she was headed.
Kappes is 5’6″, and has black/brown hair, and brown eyes.
