Making a mosaic: creating a circular design with slate, stone and glass
This mosaic was made as part of my mosaic membership, which features monthly prompts to help you get creative with your mosaic art. This mosaic was inspired by the patterns in tree rings, and we used this idea to incorporate story telling into our mosaics. Thus mosaic was made by setting glass, slate and stone into a bed of thinset/tile adhesive to create lots if texture.
