Sweet potatoes are a plant based source of non-heme iron + the egg is an iron rich food too Optional add-in’s: cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla extract, chia seeds, flax seeds, or hemp seeds. For those with an egg allergy, a flax egg may be a substitute (but I haven’t personally trialed it!) Whip up a huge batch of these and store in the freezer for easy breakfast options. Top with nut or seed butter, yogurt, homemade chia seed jam, cream cheese, mascarpone, ricotta, etc. SO many choices. Would you try this? Comment below."

Recipe 1 lb sausage 1 tbsp butter 6 eggs Splash of milk Salt and pepper 1 1/2 loaves of white bread 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Steps Brown sausage in a skillet over medium high heat. Remove from pan and drain grease once fully cooked. Whisk together eggs, salt, pepper, and a splash of milk in a bowl. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat and cook scrambled eggs. Combine cooked sausage, eggs, and cheese. Lay out bread and use a sandwich cutter to cut out circles. Add some of the filling onto the middle of the bread (I used a 1/3 measuring cup).
