The physiological sigh is a breathing technique that can help reduce stress and anxiety.
	1.	Inhale twice through the nose, with the first inhale being longer than the second
	2.	Exhaling slowly and fully through the mouth
	3.	Repeat up to 3 or more times
The physiological sigh can help with: Increasing lung surface area, removing carbon dioxide from the body, slowing down the heart rate & redo stress. It is a technique that can be used in the moment to combat stress. It’s especially effective for people who have high anxiety levels.

When you’re able to relax, your nervous system calms down (parasympathetic nervous system turns on) The process of recovery and rejuvenation begins. If you aren’t relaxed, your body experiences too much stress, hormones are imbalanced, organs don’t function properly, and a person is heading towards sickness and disease. When the body is tense, a person feel very little in their body. When they are sick, they can’t feel it. when they are stressed, they don’t realize it. Only when things get intense do one realizes that something is wrong. A person often feels disconnected to the world bc they are disconnected t
