If you're like me and enjoy company while you're cooking then you totally get why removing the wall between our kitchen and family room was a huge priority! With our home being only 1,500 sq. ft. and our kitchen on the smaller side this was a great way for us to open the space, build a unique eating area and create that perfect rustic farmhouse vibe! Here is our step by step removal of a load bearing wall, LVL installation and bar build that we did ourselves to stay on budget!
