This is a necklace that I made with a single buckeye grown in Ohio, the Buckeye State. I gathered, processed, drilled and strung each buckeye myself. Also, my buckeyes are not polished and are chemical free. If you have ever bought a real buckeye necklace before, you should know that the buckeyes I am selling this year are from previous years. If you are buying a buckeye necklace that is made from buckeyes from this year, chances are, it will get moldy. If they are not properly dried, they will mold and attract tiny moths who lay eggs inside them. I have seen (with my own eyes) in an Ohio State themed store in Columbus, Ohio, a basket of beautiful buckeye necklaces ruined by thin spider webs of moth nest. GROSS! I can assure you, my buckeyes are not only from Ohio, they are also free of pests and will not attract them either! This necklace is approximately 18 inches long, and has a silver hook clasp.
