Mom’s Soft Peanut Butter Cookies | Mom’s Soft Peanut Butter Cookies 1 cup Butter 1 cup White Sugar 1 cup Brown Sugar 1 cup Peanut Butter 2 eggs 3 cups Flour, all-purpose 2 tsp. Baking... | By Delicious by Debbie | Good morning and thank you for joining me on Delicious by Debbie. I have been telling my husband, I am hungry for my mom's recipe for peanut butter cookies. So, I'm going to make some peanut butter cookies this morning and satisfy that hunger of mine. So, I'm going to have you along to watch what I'm doing. So far in my mixture bowl, I have two sticks of softened butter and I want to cream that along with my sugar and for my sugar I want a cup of white sugar these are not diet sugar free cookies these are just good old fashioned peanut butter cookies so cup of butter two sticks a cup of white sugar cup of brown sugar. So I'll need four of these because I need a cup. Somebody asked the other day where I got my little bear's clay bears for keeping my brown sugar soft and I actually got mine on Amazon but you can even buy em at Walmart. Alright, so that's got a cup of brown sugar, cup of white sugar, a cup of butter, and I'm going to go ahead and let that mix together Okay, I have left the cup of butter, cup of brown sugar, cup of white sugar all cream up together. Now, I'm going to add a teaspoon of vanilla and 2 eggs. I have 2 eggs and a cup of peanut butter. Mine's a creamy peanut butter. You can use the crunchy if you want. This is what I have. So, a cup of peanut butter. But I'm going to let this mix. Okay, I have three cups of all-purpose flour, two teaspoons of baking soda, and one teaspoon of salt and I mix it all in with the flour, the salt and the baking soda and I've added about half of this flour mixture to this creamy peanut butter mixture I'm going to go ahead and add the rest of it. Alright that's all mixed in. Okay, I'm ready to make the cookies. As you can see, I already have three done but I'm going to make roll it into balls about the size of a walnut I love this I love peanut butter and so just the smell of this smells so good and I'm going to take my fork dip it in flour and I'm going to make crisscross like this. Now you could use a potato masher. I can't find mine since I moved. So this will work just my mom never used potato masher. She always used a fork. Cos we love doing this part for her. Those are ready to go in the oven for about 10 minutes. Now, sometimes, I have seen recipes where you roll them in sugar, the balls and sugar and then put them in on here and squish em down. I don't think they need the extra sugar with all the sugar that's in em so I'm just doing them this way. I'll show you when they're done. Just took these out of the oven and put them on my rack here. These bake for 12 minutes and they're very nice. They're soft. I want them soft but they're not dough E. I hope you'll give them a try.
