Eine habe ich noch - nämlich Karte mit einer der März-Neuheiten von SF Stamps. Hier hat es jemand besonders eilig, aber klar, Geburtstagspost darf nicht zu spät zugestellt werden!

I have another card with one of the new stamp sets by SF Stamps. Here the postie really is in a hurry but well, birthday mail should never be late!

Hier habe ich im Hintergrund ein paar Mal das größere Haus aus dem Häuserset abgestempel und sie ein ganz wenig coloriert. Der Himmel darüber ist mit hellblauer Tinte gewischt.

Oben auf die Karte habe ich das Wort Geburtstagspost gestempelt. 

Der Postbote ist mit Copics coloriert und anschließend ausgeschnitten. Die Briefe oben "auf dem Stapel" sind einzelne Stempel und obenauf gestempelt.

Here I've stamped a house several times in the background and colored them lightly with Copics. The sky above is colored with light blue ink.

To the top of the card I've stamped the word birthday mail.

The postie is colored with Copics and cut out. The letters on top of the pile are individual stamps and masked on the pile.

Zieht man am Tab auf der Seite, dann bewegt sich der Postbote nach links während die Post vom Stapel davon nach rechts fliegt.

If you pull the tab the postie moves to the right while the mail is flying away to the right.

Ebenfalls neu bei SF Stamps ist ein Set mit diesen Kringeln - in veschiedenen Größen. Ich musste dabei sofort an Galaxien denken. Und so ist die Idee zu dieser Karte entstanden.

Another new set by SF Stamps ist this one with the spirals - in different sizes. I immediately had to think of galaxies. And this is how I got the idea for this card.

Ich habe hier zuerst den den Spiralenstempel auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt - den mittleren Bereich mit ganz hellblauer Tinte, den äußeren in etwas dunklerem Blau. Dann habe ich den kompletten Stempel mit Versamark gestempelt und das Design mit klarem Embossinpulver embosst. Dann konnte ich den Hintergrund in dunkleren Blautönen und schwarz wischen und der Kringel war trotzdem gut sichtbar. Die restlichen Sterne am Himmel habe ich mit einem weißen Gelmarker per Hand dazu gemalt. 

An den Beginn des innersten Kringels habe ich mit 3D Tape einen Stern aus silbernem Glitzercardstock geklebt.

Here I've first stamped the spiral onto white cardstock, stamping the middle area with light blue ink and the outer areas with darker blue. Then I've stamped the complete stamp with Versamark and covered it with clear embossing powder. Now I was able to create the background with darker tones of blue and black and the spiral is still visible, kind of glowing. The other stars in the sky are made with a white gelmarker.

To the beginning of the inner spiral I've glued a star punched from silver glitter cardstock and glued down with dimensionals.

Unten auf die Karte habe ich mit schwarzer Tinte Baum-Silhouetten aufgestempelt. Außerdem habe ich hier ein Banner mit dem Text Wünsch Dir was, weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst,quer über die Karte geklebt.

To the lower part of the card I've stamped tree silhouettes with black ink. I've also added a banner with a "make a whish" saying, white heat embossed onto a strip of black cardstock, across the card.

Hase und Hase

Auf der Kreativmesse in München wird es natürlich auch die ein oder andere Neuheit geben. Ich zeige Euch heute zwei Karten mit den Osterhasenstempeln von SF Stamps.

There will be a craft show in Munich this weekend and for sure there will be quite a few new items for sale. I am going to share with you two cards with the easter bunny stamp set by SF Stamps.

Bei dieser ersten Karte habe ich einen der Stempel mal nicht österlich verarbeitet. Es ist eine klassische One Layer Card, die ich braun gemattet und auf einen hellblauen Kartenrohling geklebt habe.

For this first card I've used one of the stamps for a non-easter card. It's a simple one layer card that I've matted with kraft cardstock and glued onto a light blue note card.

Ich habe mit Distress Ink Tumbled Glass einen Bereich in der Mitte leicht hellblau eingefärbt. Dann habe ich das Motiv gestempelt, mit Copics coloriert und ausgeschnitten. Ich habe es auf den blau eingefärbten Bereich geklebt und mit Copics darunter/darumherum eine kleine Blumenwiese aufgemalt. 

Die Schmetterlinge sind aus einem anderen neuen Stempel ausgeschnitten. Den seht Ihr gleich auch noch. ;)

Mit der Freunde-Stanze habe ich das Wort Freunde aus hellblauem Cardstock gestanzt, mit kraftfarbenem Cardstock hinterlegt (per Hand geschnitten) und ebenfalls auf die Karte geklebt. Darunter kam ein Spruch aus dem Stempelset Geschwisterliebe.

I've used Distress Ink Tumbled Glass to lighly color in an are in the middle. Then I've stamped the image, colored it with Copics and cut it out. I've glued it onto the blue area and used my Copics again to create a meadow under/around the image.

The butterflies are from another new stamp that you'll see on my next card.

The die cut word means friends, the stamped text underneath forever in my heart. I've die cut the word friend from light blue cardstock, matted it with kraft colored cardstock (cut by hand), glued it onto the card and stamped the rest of the text underneath.

Und hier ist meine zweite Hasenkarte, diesmal österlich. Es ist eine Easel Card mit Ausschnitt.

And this is the second bunny card for today, this time I've made an easter card. It's an easel card with a cut out behind the image.

Ich habe die Front der Karte mit rosa-grau gemustertem Designpapier beklebt. Die Karte selbst ist aus weißem Cardstock gearbeitet. 

I've covered the front of the card with grey and pink patterned paper, the card itself is made from white cardstock.

In der Mitte der Karte ist ein ovaler Ausschnitt, in dem der Hase befestigt ist. Ihr könnt es ganz leicht erkennen, der ist an einem schmalen Streifen Folie befestigt, die ich zwischen weißem Cardstock und Designpapier befestigt habe. Unter dem Hasen ist auch noch etwas Gras. 

Der Hase selbst bringt einen frühlingshaften Strauß Osterglocken. Die gibt es auch in Pink, ich habe extra gegoogelt. 

Am Rahmen habe ich zwei Schmetterlinge aufgeklebt. Die sind aus Vellum gestanzt, das ich mit glitzenderndem, klarem Embossingpulver überzogen habe.

Unten auf der Karte habe ich noch ein aus grünem Cardstock gestanztes Hallo aufgeklebt.

There's a cut out in the middle of the card that is used as a frame for the bunny. You can barely see it - but there's a strip of acetate put between the white cardstock and the designer's paper. That holds the bunny in place. There's also some grass under the bunny.

He's bringing some spring-ish daffodils. And yes, those are also exciting in pink, I've checked that.

To the frame I've added two butterflies, cut from Vellum that I've covered with clear, sparkly embossing powder. 

To the bottom of the card I've added a die cut hello, cut from green cardstock.

Und auch das Innere der Karte habe ich dekoriert. Der Ostergrüße-Text kommt mit den Hasen im Set. Der Rahmen außenrum ist ebenfalls ein neuer Stempel. Ich habe ihn passend zu den Farben auf der Karte mit Copics coloriert.

And also the inside of the card is decorated. The text means "easter greetings". And the frame is also a new stamp that I've stamped with black cardstock and colored with colors matching the front of the card.

Ein Design - zwei Varianten

Kennt Ihr das - Ihr macht eine Karte und seid dann irgendwie mit dem Ergebnis nicht so recht zufrieden? So ging es mir hier. Deswegen gibt es diese Karte in zwei Varianten. Und so im Nachhinein finde ich eigentlich beide nicht schlecht.

Do you know that situation - you're finishing a card and then you just aren't completly happy with how it turned out. That's what happened to me with this card and so there are two versions of it. And know being able to compare them side by side I have to admit that I like both.

Aber von Anfang an: Bei den Februar-Neuheiten von SF Stamps ist ein Set mit tollen Sprüchen und Vögeln dabei. Nun gebe ich zu, dass ich mir mit Silhouetten-Stempeln immer schwer tue, aber einsetzen wollte ich es dann doch. Und weil meine Alcohol Inks noch auf dem Schreibtisch standen, dachte ich mir, warum sie nicht auch hier einsetzen. Und dann fiel mir meine GelliPlate ein. Also habe ich Aqua und Aquamarine auf der GelliPlate verteilt und eine Wolkenschablone daraufgelegt. Die Wolken habe ich dann noch mit dem Noppenfolienstempel von SF Stamps teilweise mit einem Muster versehen. Dann kam weiße Acrylfarbe darüber und so ist dieser Hintergrund entstanden.

Da ich den Rest der Karte eher einfach halten wollte, habe ich einen der Texte - von der Anordnung her zweizeilig abgestempelt - unten auf ein Stück weißen Cardstock gestempelt und den Cardstock auf eine schwarze Karte geklebt.

Well, among the february release by SF Stamps was a set with great sayings and flying birds. I have to admit that I always have a hard time using silhouette stamps but of course I wanted to use it. And since my Alcohol Inks were still on my table from another card I've made I decided to use them here as well. And then my GelliPlate came to my mind. So I've put Aqua and Aquamarin onto the GelliPlate and put a cloud stencil on top. On some of the clouds I've also added a bubblewrap pattern. Then I've added some white acrylic paint and this is what I ended up with.

Since I wanted to keep the rest of the card pretty simple I've only stamped a saying meaning "tame birds dream of freedom, wild birds fly" to the bottom of a piece of white cardstock and glued it onto a black note card.

Meinen GelliPlate Hintergrund habe ich dann auf die Karte gelegt und den Vogelschwarm so aufgestempelt. dass er vom weißen Cardstock auf den blauen Hintergrund und wieder auf die weiße Karte zu fliegen scheint. Den farbigen Hintergrund habe ich dann noch schwarz gemattet, das macht den Effekt noch besser, finde ich.

Eigentlich mag ich diese Karte ja, aber sie wirkte ein wenig fad, ich dachte, zu dem Text gehört etwas aufregenderes... Also habe ich eine zweite Variante gemacht:

I've put my GelliPlate background onto the card and then stamped the flying birds over it making it seem like they are flying from the white cardstock onto the blue and back onto the white. Then I've matted the blue background with black cardstock since it seem to make the effect of the flying birds even better.

As mentioned, I like this card but it seems to be missing something and I thought something more exciting needs to go with this saying. So I've made another version:

Auch hier kamen Alcohol Inks zum Einsatz - Dandelion, Sunset Orange, Red Pepper und Wild Plum. Um den Farbverlauf und den streifigen Look zu erhalten, habe ich einen Tip von Jennifer McGuire genutzt: Ich habe die rauhere Seite von Klettband um die Kante eines alten Lineals geklebt und daran etwas dünnen Bastelfilz angeheftet. So erhält man eine größere Fläche als mit den kleinen runden Filzen von Tim Holtz und kann prima größere Flächen einfärben. Dabei habe ich die Farbe auf den Filz aufgetragen und beim Aufwischen der Farbe auf das Yupo das "Tool" ein wenig nach oben versetzt. 

Die Vögel waren hier eine weitere Herausforderung, denn auf Yupo kann man ja nicht wirklich gut stempeln. Embossen ist aber auch nicht so einfach, denn bei zu viel Hitze schmilzt das Yupo leicht. Und die Alcohol Inks kleben auch nach dem Trocknen immer noch gut genug, um zumindest das Embossing Pulver überall haften zu lassen. Ich habe mich doch fürs Embossen entschieden, allerdings habe ich die Vögel vor dem Gestalten des Hintergrundes ganz vorsichtig schwarz aufembosst.

Zum Schluss habe ich noch ein paar kleine Wölkchen mit weißer Strukturpaste und einer Wolkenschablone aufgetragen. 

Der Rest dieser Karte ist identisch zu Variante 1.

Also here I've used Alcohol Inks - Dandelion, Sunset Orange, Red Pepper and Wild Plum. To get that color changing look I've used a trick by Jennifer McGuire: I've glued the rough side of a strip of Velcro around the edge of an old ruler and put some thin felt onto it. That way you have a larger tool than the ones by Tim Holtz and can easily color in bigger areas. So I've added the inks to the felt and swiped across my Yupo, moving the tool a bit to mix the colors.

The birds were another thing here because stamping on Yupo is nearly impossible. But embossing onto it is also hard because with too much heat it starts to wrap or melt. And also the inks are still sticky enough after drying to hold the embossing powder everywhere. So I've decided to do some embossing but did it before adding the alcohol ink and black heat embossed the birds very carefully to the Yupo.

In the end I've also added some small clouds with a stencil and white modelling paste.

The rest here is identically with version 1.

Und noch ein Alien

Vor ein paar Tagen habe ich Euch ja schon angekündigt, dass der Freund des grünen Aliens von SF Stamps wann anders auf einen Besuch vorbeikommt. Nun, heute ist es soweit!

A few days ago I already told you that the green alien's friend will visit soon. Well, here he is!

Bei dieser Karte hatte ich irgendwie das Thema Valentinstag im Kopf. Es muss ja nicht immer Pink und Rot sein, oder?

Also habe ich meine Alcohol Inks ausgepackt und mit Sepia, Sunset Orange und Terra Cotta einen recht kräftigen Hintergrund gestaltet. Mit dem Alcohol Lift Ink Kissen habe ich dann den Herzenhintergrund darüber gestempelt und die angelöste Tinte abgewischt. Da meine Alcohol Inks unverdünnt, also ohne Blending Solution, aufgetragen ist, wurde die Tinte nicht so stark abgetragen, wie sonst vielleicht üblich. Mir gefiel das aber so ganz gut, sonst hätte der Hintergrund zu viel Aufmerksamkeit auf sich gezogen.

Der Text auf der Karte ist ebenfalls im Alien-Set enthalten. Ich habe ihn, passend zum Motiv, in Türkis und Orange abgestempelt, türkis gemattet und unten auf die Karte aufgeklebt.

When I started this card I had Valentine's in mind. It doesn't always have to be pinks and reds, right? So I've brought out my alcohol inks and created a really strong background with Sepia, Sunset Orange and Terra Cotta. Then I've stamped the hearts background over it using the Lift Ink ink pad and removed the ink. Since I've created the background with just the alcohol inks, so no Blending Solution added, the ink wasn't removed as much as probably usual. But I liked it that way because otherwise the background would have drawn too much attention.

The saying means "you're very special to me". Matching the colors of the image I've stamped it with turquoise and orange ink, matted it with turquoise cardstock and glued it to the card.

Und hier ist der süße Alien. Ich habe ihn wieder mit Copics coloriert.

Auf die Brust habe ich ein Herz gestempelt und ausgeschnitten. Das habe ich dann mit türkis eingefärbtem Vellum hinterlegt.

Als Deko habe ich noch ein paar außerirdische Pflanzen sowie hell-türkisfarbene Enamel Accents auf die Karte geklebt.

And here's the cute alien. Again he's colored with Copics.

Onto his chest I've stamped a heart, cut it out and put some turquoise colored vellum behind it.

For decorations I've added some die cut extraterrestrial plants and a few light turquoise colored Enamel Accents.

Das mit Vellum hinterlegte Herz hat natürlich eine Funktion. Zieht man am Streifen rechts an der Karte, schließt sich ein Stromkreis und das Herz leuchtet rot. Dafür habe ich eine rote LED dahinter verbaut.

Of course the vellum covered heart has a function. When you pull the strip on the right a circuit closes and the heart lights up in red. Therefor I've put a red LED behind it.

Und das kann man hier nochmal im dunklen Zimmer fotografiert ein wenig besser erkennen.

And that you can see on this picture a bit better, taken in a dark room.

Ein Alien zum Monatsende

Bereits vorgestern habe ich Euch den Affen aus dem Februar-Release von SF Stamps gezeigt - heute geht es weiter mit den Sneaks. Und diesmal schaut dieses süße Alien vorbei. Es hat eigentlich noch einen Freund im Gepäck, der kommt aber später nach... ;)

Two days ago I've shared the monkey from SF Stamps' february release - today I am continuing the sneaks. And this time this cute alien is visiting. He even brings a friend, but he'll show up another day... ;)

Das Design der Karte ist bewusst schlicht gehalten, da das Motiv recht farbenfroh ausgefallen ist. Danach schreit der kleine Kerl aber auch, oder? Also habe ich nur ein Oval aus einem Stück weißen Cardstock gestanzt und dieses mit 3D Tape auf eine weiße Karte geklebt, auf der ich vorher Motiv und Hintergrund gestaltet habe. Vor dem Aufkleben habe ich unten noch einen Text aufgestempelt. Der ist übrigens aus einem weiteren neun Set mit vielen weiteren Sprüchen. Und ich fand, je weiter oben man ist, desto kleiner wirkt ein Problem. Wie klein muss es dann erst aus dem All gesehen sein? Also passt der Spruch doch perfekt.

The design of this card is kept quite simple since the image is already pretty colorful. But this image screams for color. So I've only die cut an oval from a piece of white cardstock and glued it with dimensionals onto a white note card on which I've created the scene first. Before glueing the layers together I've also stamped a saying onto the white cardstock. It means "seen from above a problem looks pretty small". And I thought, the farther away you are, the smaller the problem gets. So how small must it seem seen from space? So I think this saying is just perfect here.

Für das Motiv habe ich mit einem Kreis einen Teil der weißen Karte abgedeckt und darüber mit Distress Oxide Black Soot und Wilted Violet den Himmel aufgewischt. Dann habe ich zuerst etwas Wasser und anschließend mit Wasser verdünnte weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt.

Nach dem Entfernen der Maske habe ich den Planeten, auf dem der Alien wohnt, erst ganz zart mit Distress Oxide Pumice Stone gewischt und zwar so, dass er nach oben hin heller wird. Dann habe ich ein paar Krater mit Prismacolors hinzugefügt.

Der Alien ist mit Copics so richtig leuchtend-grün mit lilafarbenen Akzenten coloriert.

For the image I've used a die cut circle to cover part of the white note card and then used Distress Oxide Black Soot and Wilted Violet to add the sky. Then I've sprinkled some water and some white acylic paint mixed with water onto it.

After removing the mask I've created the alien's home planet by softly adding Distress Oxide Pumice Stone from the bottom, getting lighter at the top. The craters were added with Prismacolors.

The alien is colored with Copics in a very bright green with a few violet accents.

So ein Affenzirkus!

Kennt Ihr das - in manchen Situationen fehlen einem die Worte und man steht nur noch da und schüttelt den Kopf. So geht es offenbar dem Affen auf meiner Karte, mit der ich Euch ein erstes Sneak Peak auf die Februar-Neuheiten von SF Stamps gebe.

I'm sure you know those situations - you're out of words and all you can do is shake your head in disbelief. Seems like the little monkey on today's card is in such a situation - and with this card I am also giving you a first sneak peak at the feburary release of SF Stamps.

Hier mal ein "stehendes" Bild, Euch soll ja nicht schwindlig werden. 

Für den Hintergrund habe ich weißen Cardstock erst ganz zart mit Distress Oxide Mowed Lawn und Peakcock Feathers gewischt. Dann habe ich die Rankenschablone von DutchDoobadoo aufgelegt und die Ranken mit den selben Farben nochmal kräftiger darübergewischt. Die Sprenkel sind dann mit mit Wasser verdünntem Meramaid Lagoon aufgewischt. Ich wollte hier einen Dschungel-Look kreieren.

Unten auf die Karte habe ich einen der neuen Text auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt, schwarz gemattet und mit 3D Tape aufgeklebt.

Here's a "standing" picture, I don't want you to get sick when taking a closer look.

For the background I've very softly inked up a piece of white cardstock with Distress Oxide Mowed Lawn and Peacock Feathers. Then I've put a stencil by DutchDoobadoo on top of it and added the leaves with the same colors, just adding more of them. The speckles are made with Mermaid Lagoon, mixed with water. I wanted to create a jungle look here.

I've added a saying that pretty much summs up the situation I've described before, matted it black and glued it onto the card with dimensionals.

Der süße Affe und die Bananen sind einzelne Stempel, die ich maskiert und so zusammengestempelt habe. 

Den Kopf habe ich noch einmal separat gestempelt, coloriert und mit einem Pendel, das unter dem Hintergrundcardstock versteckt ist, versehen. So kann der Affe den Kopf bewegen. Hand und Arm habe ich am Körper belassen, so sieht es so aus, als würde er sich auch noch am Kopf kratzen. 

The cute monkey and the bananas are separate stamps that I've masked and stamped to this little scene.

The head is stamped seperately again and colored. Then I've added a pendulum to the back, hidden unter the background. Now the monkey kan move his head. Hand and arm don't move on purpose, now it looks like he's not only shaking his head but also scratching it.

Und auch diesmal habe ich ein Video für Euch. Das Licht heute war leider nicht optimal - vielleicht könnt Ihr den Schneeregen hinter dem Fenster sehen. Aber ich denke, man kann die Karte trotzdem noch gut genug erkennen.

And also this time I've taken a video for you. The light was pretty bad today - maybe you can see the snow falling behind my window. But I think you still get a pretty good look at the card.

Und nochmal November-Neuheiten

Heute zeige ich Euch eine andere der Neuheiten aus dem November-Release von SF Stamps. Es sind sogar zwei Karten geworden, denn beim On the Edge Stamping bekommt man fast in einem Aufwasch zwei Karten fertig. Nur das Dekorieren muss noch extra übernommen werden - naja, und das Motiv natürlich zweimal coloriert werden.

I have another post showing another new set of the november release by SF Stamps. Actually there are two cards because when doing On the Edge Stamping you nearly end up with two cards at once. Only the decorating needs to be done - and well, you have to color both images.

In dem Stempelset, das ich heute vewendet habe, sind verschiedene Weihnachtsterne (also die Pflanzen/Blüten) enthalten. Ich habe die hier als Bordüre am Rand der Karte verwendet.

In the stamp set I've used today there are different poinsettias included. I've stamped those on the edge to create a border of flowers.

Da die Blumen wirken sollen, ist der Rest der Karte eher einfach. 

Ich habe entlang der ausgeschnittenen oberen Bordüre goldene Stickles verteilt.

Der tolle Weihnachtstext ist zweifarbig embosst - Weihnachtszeit in rot, der Rest in Gold.

Since I wanted the flower to be the focus I've kept the rest of the card simple.

Along the cut out border I've added some golden Stickles.

The saying means christmas time - heat embossed in red - and happy, merry, quiet, magical etc and some stars around it, heat embossed in gold.

Hier sieht man den Effekt der Karte besser. Die Bordüre wird identisch auf die Außen- und die Innenseite der Karte gestempelt und coloriert. Dann wird die Bordüre auf dem Außenteil der Karte mit etwas Abstand ausgeschnitten. Bei dieser Karte befindet sie sich auf der Innenseite der Karte, ist aber trotzdem bei geschlossener Karte sichtbar.

Here you get a better look at the effect of this type of card. The border gets stamps on both the outside and the inside of the card and then colored in. Then the border on the outside gets cut out, leaving a bit of a edge. On this card the border is on the inside of the card but can still be seen when the card is closed.

Die ausgeschnittene Bordüre kann dann gleich zum dekorieren einer weiteren Karte verwendet werden. 

Hier habe ich auf die Grundkarte ein Rechteck aus rotem Cardstock geklebt, darauf kam ein kleineres, gestanzt aus goldenem Spiegelkarton. An die rechte Seite des Spiegelkartons habe ich die ausgeschnittene Bordüre geklebt.

The cut out border can be used to decorate a second card.

Here I've glued some red cardstock onto a white note card, then glued a smaller rectangle, cut from golden mirror cardstock, on top. To the right side of the golden rectangle I've glued the cut out border.

Und hier seht Ihr gleich noch eine weitere der Neuheiten - die Zahlenstanzen. Ich habe damit ein 24. aus rotem Cardstock gestanzt und aufgeklebt. Darunter kam noch ein kleines Banner mit dem Text Frohes Fest golden aufembosst.

And here I've also used another one of the new products - the numbers dies. I've die cut a 24. - that's when christmas is celebrated here in Germany - from red cardstock and glued it down to my card. Underneath I've added a banner with a golden heat embossed merry christmas on it.

Ein Kalender mit weiterem Sneak

Heute habe ich ein weiteres Sneak für Euch. Viele von Euch haben ja, genau wie ich, nach passenden Zahlenstanzen zum Alphabetstanzenset von SF Stamps gefragt. Silke hat uns erhört, und so gibt es im November-Release ein Set mit Zahlen und Sonderzeichen. Und ich habe das vverwendet, um diesen Dauerkalender zu werkeln.

Today I am sharing another sneak with you. Many, me included, asked for number dies matching the alphabet die set by SF Stamps. Silke granted our wish and so there comes a set of numbers and punctuation characters with the november release. I've used them to create this calendar.

Die Anleitung für den Kalender haben wir vor einigen Jahren mal beim Stempeleinmaleins gezeigt, und der kam mir wieder in den Sinn. Die Zahlen sind so auf den beiden Würfeln angeordnet, dass man alle Tage des Monats damit darstellen kann.

Ich habe die Zahlen aus taupefarbenem Cardstock gestanzt, auf einen weißen Kreis geklebt und auf die hell-türkisfarbenen Würfel geklebt.

We've shared a tutorial for this calendar some years ago over at Stempeleinmaleins and it came back to my mind. The numbers are glued to the two cubes so you can write each date with them.

I've die cut the numbers from taupe colored cardstock, glued them onto a white circle and then onto the cubes, made from light turquoise cardstock.

Die Wochentage und Monatsnamen, ebenfalls von SF Stamps, sind jeweils mit weißem Embossingpulver auf Kärtchen embosst, die austauschbar sind. Auf der Rückseite des Kalenders befindet sich ein Fach, um die übrigen Kärtchen aufzubewahren.

Auf den braunen Cardsstock im Hintergrund habe ich den Herzhintergrund ebenfalls weiß aufembosst. 

Da der Kalender ja das ganze Jahr über genutzt werden soll, wollte ich mit der Deko einigermaßen neutral bleiben. Und ich finde, Blüten gehen immer. Also habe ich eine der Mohnblumen in türkis coloriert und auf den Halter aufgeklebt. Und weil es so ganz ohne Text nicht geht, kam auch noch dieser tolle Spruch aus dem Stempelset Deine Träume zum Einsatz.

The names of the day and month are also white heat embossed onto little cards that are interchangable. There's a box attached to the back of the calendar that holds the other cards.

And I also used white embossing powder to heat emboss the hearts background onto the brown cardstock in the background.

Since a calendar is standing on your desk all year long I didn't want to go too special with decorations. And I think you can never go wrong with flowers. So I've used one of the poppies, colored it in turquoise and glued it onto the stand.

I also felt like I needed a saying. This one means "your dreams don't expire, believe in them". I think that goes great with a calendar.

Nicht mehr lange, und die November-Neuheiten von SF Stamps sind erhältlich. Ich sage nur so viel: es wird winterlich/weihnachtlich! Und damit Ihr Euch schon mal einen kleinen Eindruck machen könnt, habe ich heute eine Karte mit einem der neuen Sets zu zeigen.

Not long anymore and the november release by SF Stamps will be in store. I just say: we're talking winter/christmas here! And to not just talk about it I have made a card using one of the new stamps.

Sind die Schneeflocken nicht klasse? Ich habe sie mit weißem Embossingpulver auf Acetate embosst und dieses dann hinter ein Stück weißen Cardstock geklebt, in das ich ein rechteckiges Fenster gestanzt habe. Innen in den Rahmen, als Kontrastpunkt und für einen frostigeren Look, habe ich noch einen schmalen Rahmen aus silbernem Spiegelkarton geklebt.

Hinter dem Fenster befindet sich ein Shaker Element, gefüllt mit silbernen Mini-Streuseln, holografischen Sechseckenund durchsichtig-holografischen Pailetten. 

Den Cardstock im Hintergrund habe ich mit Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass, Peacock Feathers und Broken China gewischt und zudem etwas mit Wasser besprenkelt.

 

Aren't those snowflakes amazing? I've white heat embossed them onto a piece of acetate and then glued this behind some white cardstock from which I've die cut a rectangle window. Inside the frame I've added another thin frame cut from silver mirror cardstock to add some more of a frosty look.

Behind the frame there's a shaker element, filled with tiny silver foil pieces, holographic hexagons and clear-holographic sequins.

The cardstock in the background is colored with Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass, Peacock Feathers and Broken China. I've also sprinkled some water onto it.

Auch der Text ist in dem neuen Set enthalten. Ich habe ihn mit silbernem Embossingpulver auf weißen Cardstock embosst, bannerförmig zugeschnitten und wieder mit silbernem Spiegelkarton hinterlegt. Zum Schluss kamen noch ein paar glitzer-silberne Nuvo Drops auf die Karte.

Also the saying is from the new set. It means "snow is falling" and is the first line of a german christmas song (and no, I'm not talking about the one by Shakin' Steven's here!). I've silver heat embossed the text onto white cardstock, cut it into a banner shape and then used silver mirror cardstock again to mat the bannner. In the end I've also added some silver glitter drops to the card.

Es wird nochmal magisch

Heute wird es hier nochmal magisch. Denn in dem neuen Stempelset von Scrapbook Forever mit der kleinen Hexe, die ich Euch schon am Sonntag auf einer Karte gezeigt habe, ist auch noch ein toller Zauberer enthalten. Und der wollte natürlich auch verbastelt werden.

It's getting magical again today. Because there's also a wonderful sorcerer included in the stamp set with the little witch that I've been sharing a card with on sunday. And of course he wanted to get inked up as well.

Hier habe ich zuerst den Zauberer auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt und coloriert. Dann habe ich ihn mit Masking Tape abgedeckt und den Hintergrund mit Distress Oxide Pumice Stone, Hickory Smoke und Black Soot gestaltet. Damit das nicht nur ein tristes Einheitsgrau wird, habe ich dann noch mit weißer Tinte den Bubbles Hintergrund als Tapete aufgestempelt.

Here I've stamped the sorcerer onto some white cardstock first and then colored him. After covering him with masking tape I've created the background with Distress Oxide Pumice Stone, Hickory Smoke and Black Soot. Since it look a bit sad with just the grey and black background I've stamped the Bubbles Background with white ink over the grey area as a wallpaper.

Der Zauberer ist mit Copics coloriert. Auch der Leuchtkreis um den Zauberstab herum. Den habe ich dann grob ebenfalls mit Maskiertape abgedeckt bevor ich den grauen Hintergrund gewischt habe.

Rund um den Zauberer habe ich noch ein paar golden glitzernde Sterne aufgeklebt. 

The sorcerer is colored with Copics - as is the shiny area around his wand. I've covered that area with masking tape as well before I've created the grey background. 

Around the sorcerer I've added some golden glittery stars.

Und auch wenn ich ja erst eine LED-Karte mit dem süßen Elchi gemacht habe - hier bot es sich geradezu an. Und so leuchtet die Spitze des Zauberstabs wunderbar - wenn man den richtigen Zauberspruch weiß. Nein, man muss nur wissen, wo drücken. Die Batterie habe ich am rechten Ende des Banners versteckt, das ich unten auf den schwarz eingefärbten Bereich geklebt habe und auf dem sich ein weiterer Text aus dem Stempelset befindet. 

Oh, und sorry für den Hintergrund unter der Karte. Ich musste in die hinterste Ecke unter meinem Schreibtisch kriechen um das Leuchten einfangen zu können. ;)

I know, I've already shared a LED card with Rudolph only a little ago - but with this sorcerer it seemd so perfectly fitting that I had to make another one. And so the tip of the wand is lightning - if you know the right spell. Well, of course not. You only need to know where to press on the card. I've hidden the battery under the end of the banner that I've glued onto the black background. The saying that I've stamped onto it means "you're magical". 

Oh, and sorry for the background underneath the card - it's the floor in my room. To catch the shine of the light I had to take the pic in the darkest spot underneath my crafting table. ;)
