Stempeleinmaleins - Ausgabe vom 24. Juni 2023

 

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Es ist der letzte Samstag im Monat - und somit gibt es heute beim Stempeleinmaleins einen neuen Sketch. Und das ist meine Karte danach.

It's the last saturday of the month - and that means, there's a new sketch over at Stempeleinmaleins. This is the card I made with it.

 

 Da ich mir mit so extrem "eckigen" Sketchen immer etwas schwer tue - und schräg geht bei mir in den seltensten Fällen, und das gilt für alle Bereiche, also z. B. auch Wohnungseinrichtung - habe ich den Hintergrund eher dezent gehalten.

Mit dem Dotty Circles Embossingfolder von Altenew habe ich ein Stück weißen Cardstock embosst, rundum etwa 1 cm kleiner als die Kartenfront zugeschnitten und dann schräg geteilt. Anschließend habe ich beide Teile mit hellrosa farbenem Cardstock gemattet und auf den weißen Kartenrohlilng aufgeklebt.

Since I always have a hard time with many angular elements - and slanted doesn't work in most cases, that counts for all areas of my live, also things like furniture - I kept my background kind of simple. 

I used the Dotty Circles embossing folder by Altenew to dry emboss the pattern into a piece of white cardstock, cut about 1 cm smaller on each side than my card front, then cut from one corner to the opposite one. I matted both pieces with some light pink cardstock and attached them to a white card base.

Als Deko habe ich eine Hand, die eine Rose hält gewählt. So fing eigentlich auch die Idee zu der ganzen Karte an. Von den Händen, gemacht mit dem Crafty Hands Stanzenset von MFT, hatte ich nämlich für eine andere Karte einige ausgestanzt, sie aber dann doch nicht verwendet. Genauso wie die Rose aus einem der Trauersets von CraftEmotions, habe ich die Hand zuerst mit Copics coloriert und dann einpaar Details mit Polychromos hinzugefügt. 

Die Rose habe ich dreimal aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und so einige Teile wie die Blüte und auch das nach unten zeigende Blatt in 3D Technik aufgeklebt.

Als Hintergrund für das Motiv habe ich Vellum gewählt, da es einerseits schön dezent ist, andererseits aber den embossten Hintergrund hinter dem Motiv etwas abschwächt.

Der kleine just wanted to say Text ist aus dem Stempelset Reveal Wheel Sentiments von LawnFawn und weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst.

As the image on this card I used a hand holding a rose. That's actually how the whole idea for this card started. I had a few of the hands, die cut with the Crafty Hands die set by MFT, on my table. I had cut them for another card but then ended up not using them. Just like the rose, cut with a die from one of the sympathy sets by CraftEmotions, I colored the hand first with Copics and then added some details with Polychromos.

I cut the rose three times from white cardstock and then did a 3D technique for some of the parts like the flower and one of the leaves.

As the backdrop for the image I used a piece of vellum. It's very subtle and at the same time tones down the pattern of the dry embossing a bit.

The small just wanted to say hi text is from the Reveal Wheel Sentiments set by LawnFawn and white heat embossed onto black cardstock.

Für den Haupttext habe ich die Thanks Stanze von MFT verwendet und sie einmal aus schwarzem und dreimal aus dem pinkfarbenen Cardstock, den ich auch für die Mattung der Dreiecke verwendet habe, gestanzt. Die oberste pinke Lage habe ich dann mit einem dunkleren Pinkton von unten her gewischt, so dass das Wort besser zur Rose passt.

Darunter befindet sich ein weiterer kleiner Text - diesmal aus dem Scripty Bubble Sentiments von LawnFawn. Eigentlich ist der leicht wellenförmig, da er aber so klein ist, kann man ihn problemlos gerade gebogen ins Misti kleben. Auch dieser Text ist weiß auf schwarzen Cardstosck embosst.

For the main text I used the Thanks die by MFT and cut it once from black and three times from the same pink cardstock, that I also used to mat the triangles. I inked the bottom of the top pink layer with a darker pink ink to make it match the rose better.

Under the thanks I added another small text - this time from the Scripty Bubble Sentiments by LawnFawn. This originally has a slight wavy shape, but since it's so small, it's very easy to bend it straight when putting it in the Misti. Again I white heat embossed it onto black cardstock.

Ich habe alle Teile auf den embossten Hintergrund geklebt und dann um das Thanks drei schwarze Enamel Dots gesetzt.

I attached all elements to the dry embossed background and than added three black Enamel Dots next to the word thanks.

Stempeleinmaleins - Ausgabe vom 10. Juni 2023

 Hallo Ihr Lieben!

In der heutigen Ausgabe des Stempeleinmaleins zeigen wir Euch diese Art der Kartendekoration, bei der gestanzte Elemente geteilt und versetzt wieder zusammengesetzt werden. Sicher ist Euch die Kartenart schon begegnet. Aber sie ist so vielseitig einsetzbar, dass wir fanden, sie darf in unserer Sammlung nicht fehlen. Apropos vielseitig - Ihr seht schon, dass ich irgendwie nicht aufhören konnte. Und dabei habe ich hier nur mit Kreisen gearbeitet und andere Formen, die natürlich ebenso möglich sind, noch gar nicht herausgeholt. Da aber immer eine Hälfte der Stanzteile übrigbleibt, geht die Kartenart auch relativ fix (natürlich je nach Dekoration drumherum). Mir ist hier trotzdem dann die Zeit ausgegangen. Bevor ich drei einzelne Posts mache, zeige ich Euch alle meine Karten auf einmal. Und wer weiß, vielleicht zeige ich Euch demnächst dann noch einige der anderen Ideen mit dieser Technik, die mir im Kopf herumschwirren.

With today's issue of Stempeleinmaleins we share this way of decorating card fronts, where you cut die cut shapes in half and stack them. I am sure you've already come across this type of card. But it's so versatile that we decided, it just has to become a part of our list of tutorials. Apropos versatile - as you can see I couldn't stop after just one card. And I only used circles here, not bringing out any of those other shapes that of course can be used as well. Since you always have half of your die cuts left, making these cards is kind of quick (of course depending on the additional decorations). Nontheless I ran out of time after three cards. And instead of making three individual posts, I've decided to put them all together in one post. Who knows, maybe I will share some of the other ideas using this technique - and there are a few in my head - sometime soon.

Nun aber endlich mal zu den einzelnen Karte im Detail:

But now let's finally talk about the individual cards:

Ich finde, diese Kartendekoration macht sich besonders gut auf klaren Hintergründen. Trotzdem war mir nur einfarbiger Cardstock einfach zu langweilig. Deswegen habe ich mal wieder einige Embossingfolder herausgeholt. Die nutze ich auch viel zu selten. Für diese Karte habe ich ein Ankermuster auf weißen Cardstock geprägt und anschließend kreisförmig nur in dem Bereich, auf dem später die Deko sein sollte, etwas goldene Metallic Watercolor aufgespritzt.

I think, this kind of card decoration looks best on a clean background. Still, just some plain cardstock would have been too boring. So I brought out some embossing folders. I really don't use those often enough. For this card I dry embossed an anchor pattern onto a piece of white cardstock. Then I flicked some gold metallic watercolor in a circle shape only onto that area of the white cardstock where I wanted to place my decoration later. 

 

Für die Dekoration habe ich jeweils fünf Kreise, von hell nach dunkel schattiert - aus gelbem und türkisfarbenem Cardstock gestanzt. Die Kreise habe ich dann mittig halbiert und von der Größe nach aufeinander geklebt. Dabei habe ich bei den gelben Stücken mit dem kleinsten Kreis rechts, bei den türkisfarbenen Kreisen links angefangen. 

Ich habe beide Teile mit der Naht aneinander stoßend auf den weißen Cardstock geklebt und über die Nahtstelle einen Streifen schwarzen Cardstocks geklebt, den ich mit einer der Cloud Cover Stanzen von MFT ausgestanzt habe. Sicher habt Ihr es schon erkannt - der obere Halbkreis soll Sonne/Himmel, der untere das Meer darstellen. Der schwarze Streifen dazwischen sieht nun aus wie eine Insel. 

Auf die Insel habe ich einen Leuchtturm, gemacht mit einer Stanze von Action, geklebt. In das obere Fenster habe ich ein kleines, hellrosafarbenes Herz geklebt.

Die Texte sind aus dem Car Critters Stempelset von LawnFawn. Sie sind mit weißem Embossingpulver auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst. Beim Aufkleben habe ich die Höhenunterschiede der Cardstockkreise durch verschieden dickes 3D Tape ausgeglichen. Den Text thanks habe ich quer über den Leuchtturm geklebt - er passte genau zwischen die beiden weißen Streifen.

For the decoration I die cut five circles each - shaded from light to dark - from yellow and aqua cardstock. Then I cut the circles into two halfs and stacked them. I put the smallest yellow circle to the right, the smallest aqua one to the left of my stacks.

I attached both half circles, making the cut lines meet, onto my white background and put a strip of black cardstock that I had cut with one of the Cloud Cover dies by MFT, onto the seam. I'm sure you've already noticed - the top part is meant to be the sun/sky, the bottom the ocean. The black strip between them now looks like an island. 

I built a lighthouse on this island, die cut with a die I found at Action. Into the top window I added a small light pink heart.

The texts are from the Car Critters stamp set by LawnFawn. I white heat embossed them onto black cardstock. When attaching them to the card I used thick and thin foam tape, to level out the different heights of the circles. The text thanks I glued across the lighthouse - it fit exactly between two of the white stripes.

Diese schräg aufgenommenen Bilder mache ich inzwischen schon ganz automatisch - ich finde, sie zeige die Karte nochmal aus einer anderen Perspektive, aus der man oft weitere Details sehen kann.

This picture taken from an angle is something I take automatically right now - and I think, the different perspective often show additonial details.

Von der vorherigen Karte blieben jeweils ein gelber und ein türkisfarbener gestapelter Halbkreis übrig. Zumindest den türkisfarbenen habe ich für eine weitere Karte benutzt. Auch sie ist maritim ausgefallen. Diesmal habe ich in den Hintergrund ein senkrechtes Streifenmuster geprägt. Da das  Muster des Embossingfolders - von Provocraft - etwas kleiner war, musste ich den Cardstock kleiner schneiden und später ist der weiße Rand auf der Karte dadurch breiter ausgefallen. Aber das gefällt mir sogar ganz gut. Auch hier habe ich wieder kreisförmig nur hinter dem späteren Motiv goldene Metallic Watercolor aufgespritzt.

I had a yellow and a aqua stacked half circle left over from my first card. At least the aqua one I used for a second card. And again the card has a maritime theme. 

This time I dry embossed a vertical stripe pattern onto my background cardstock. Since the pattern of the embossing folder - it's by Provocraft - is a bit smaller than the anchor one I had to cut the cardstock a bit further down and this way ended up with a wider white frame on my finished card later. But I actually like that.

Also onto this background I flicked some gold metallic watercolor only onto that area where I wanted to place my decoration later.

Wieder habe ich den türkisfarbenen Halbkreis als Meer verwendet. Diesmal habe ich im oberen Bereich einen blauen Kreis - ein einfacher Kreis gestanzt aus einer Farbe an Cardstock - verwendet und obenauf einen Halbkreis mit Sonne und Sonnenstrahlen - aus gelbem wieder gemacht mit einer Stanze von Action - aufgeklebt.

Über die Nahtstelle bzw. obere Kante des gestackten Halbkreises habe ich einen Streifen goldenen Spiegelcardstocks geklebt und dahinter ein Segelschiff aus schwarzem Cardstock gesetzt. 

Am Himmel habe ich einige winzige Wolken verteilt. Der Text ist aus dem Occasional Label Stempelset von MamaElephant, schwarz auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt und wieder mit 3D Tape aufgeklebt.

Again I used the aqua half circle as an ocean. This time I used a blue circle - just a plain one cut from one color of cardstock - as the sky and put a half circle with a sun and sun rays - cut from yellow cardstock again using a die by Action - onto the blue circle.

Over the seam or top edge of the stacked half circle I put a strip of gold mirror cardstock and put a sail boat cut from black cardstock behind it.

Onto the sky I added three tiny clouds. The text on this card is from the Occasional Label stamp set by MamaElephant, black stamped onto white cardstock and again adhered to the circles with foam tape.

Ich finde, ohne den Streifen goldenen Spiegelcardstocks hätte die Karte definitiv noch ein paar Glitzersteine oder etwas in der Art gebraucht. So aber sorgt dieser Streifen für den nötigen Glanz.

I think, without the strip of gold mirror cardstock this card would have needed some rhinestones or pearls. But now this strip adds a special touch to the card.

Und dann habe ich noch eine dritte Karte, die ich Euch heute zeigen will. Je nachdem, welche Farben man verwendet oder wie man die Kreise anordnet, entstehen komplett verschiedene Looks.

Hier habe ich den Hintergrund nicht embosst sondern mit Distress Ink Lost Shadow den Birthday Background von MFT aufgestempelt und anschließend graue Metallic Watercolor darüber gespritzt.

And then I have a third card that I want to share with you today. Depending on which colors you use or how you put the circle/half circles together you get completly different looks.

Here I didn't use an embossing folder on the background but stamped the Birthday Background by MFT with Distress Ink Lost Shadow onto a piece of white cardstock. Then I flicked some grey metallic watercolor on top.

Hier habe ich pro Halbkreis vier Kreise verwendet und sie in Regenbogenfarben ausgestanzt. Da ich jeweils vier Kreise verwenden wollte, habe ich den üblichen Regenbogenfarben noch pink und türkis hinzugefügt. Und hier habe ich die Halbkreise seitlich versetzt aneinander geklebt, so dass nur die beiden kleinsten Halbkreise einen kompletten Kreis ergeben. So wird die Deko zwar breiter - deswegen habe ich die Karte hier auch im Querformat gestaltet - aber die Deko gefällt mir super gut.

Für den Text habe ich das Wort Friend mit einer Stanze von MFT aus holografischem Spiegelcardstock ausgestanzt und auf die obere Anordnung von Kreisen geklebt, als i-Punkt habe ich ein kleines weißes Herz verwendet. Dann habe ich einen der Texte aus dem Rainbow Greetings Stempelset von MFT weiß auf einen Streifen schwarzen Cardstocks embosst und den über die Kanten der Halbkreise und das gestanzte Wort geklebt. 

Da auf der Karte noch ziemlich viel freie Fläche war, habe ich noch Pailetten in meinen 8 Regenbogenfarben - pro Farbe eine - herausgesucht und jeweils neben den Halbkreisen aufgeklebt.

Here I usedfour circles for each half circle and die cut them from cardstock in the colors of a rainbow. I wanted to use four circles for each half circle so I added pink and aqua to those  colors. And on this card I adhered the circles moved sidesways, so I don't end up with a whole circle again, but only the two small half circles create that whole circle in the center. This way the decoration becomes wider - that's also why I made a landscape oriented card here - but I really like that look.

For the texte I die cut the word friend from holographic mirror cardstock using a die by MFT and attached it to the top half circle. As the tittle of the i I used a small white heart. Then I white heat embossed one of the texts from the Rainbow Greetings stamp set by MFT onto a strip of black cardstock and glued that over the edges of the half circles and the die cut word.

Since there was still pretty much white left on this card, I brought out sequins in all colors I used for my circles - one of each color - and adhered those to the background, placing them next to the each half circle.

Und hier macht das schräg aufgenommene Bild wieder durchaus Sinn, sieht man doch nur hier den Glanz des Holographic Cardstocks und der Pailetten wirklich.

And here the picture taken at an angle really makes sense again, because only on this one you can really see the shine of the holographic cardstock and the sequins.

Das ist meine Karte nach dem neuen Sketch, den wir heute beim Stempeleinmaleins für Euch haben.

 

Hello everyone!

This is the card I made after the new sketch we are sharing today over at Stempeleinmaleins.

 

 Wenn Ihr Euch den Sketch anschaut, werdet Ihr sehen, dass er eigentlich grafischer mit drei auf der Spitze stehenden Quadraten ist. Mir war so gar nicht nach geradlinig, deswegen habe ich sie durch die Wolken ersetzt. Äh, und den schmalen vertikalen Streifen habe ich tatsächlich erst gesehen, nachdem meine Karte fertig war... 

Für den Hintergrund habe ich ein Stück weißen Cardstocks mit Distress Oxide Squeezed Lemonade, Salvaged Patina, Mermaid Lagoon, Uncharted Mariner und Black Soot gewischt. Da ich durch den Sketch ja ungefährt wusste, wo sich mein Motiv befinden würde, habe ich diesen Bereich als leuchtende Fläche hinter dem Stern gelb gewischt und dann den Nachthimmel drumherum immer dunkler werdend. Nach dem Wischen habe ich Wassertropfen sowie hell-goldene Metallic Watercolor auf den Cardstock gespritzt.

When you take a look at the sketch you'll notice, that it is more graphic with three squares standing on one corner. I didn't feel like making a linear card and so I replaced them with clouds. And well, the thin vertical strip I actually only saw after I had finished my card...

For the background I inked up a piece of white cardstock with Distress Oxide Squeezed Lemonade, Salvaged Patina, Mermaid Lagoon, Uncharted Mariner and Black Soot. Due to the sketch I knew pretty well where my image will be and so I inked this area yellow as a halo for my star, then the nightsky around it getting darker towards the edges. After I had inked up the cardstock, I spritzed some water and some light yellow metallic watercolor onto it.

Das süße Motiv ist der Mini Dream Big Stempel von ColoradoCraft. Ich habe ihn mit Copics coloriert und per Hand ausgeschnitten. Den Stern habe ich zudem mit klarem Wink of Stella beglittert. 

Die Wolken sind mit der Puffy Clouds Stanze von MFT aus Vellum gestanzt. Mit dünnem 3D Tape habe ich die Maus auf dem Stern an den Wolken befestigt und dann an diesen Stellen hinter die Wolken ebenfalls 3D Tape gesetzt und sie festgeklebt.

Der große Stern, den sich die Maus so fasziniert ansieht, ist von aus dem Stanzenset Traditional Stars von MemoryBox und aus goldenem Spiegelcardstock gestanzt. Dann habe ich ihn ebenfalls mit 3D Tape auf den Hintergrund geklebt.

The cute image is the mini stamp Dream Big by ColoradoCraft. I colored it with Copics, fuzzy cut it and put some clear Wink of Stella on top of the star.

The clouds are die cut from vellum using the Puffy Clouds die set by MFT. I attached the mouse with thin foam tape to the stars, then put more foam tape behind the image and the cloud areas that are covered by it and then adhered them to the card.

The large star the mouse is looking at so fascinated is from the Traditional Stars die set by MemoryBox and cut from gold mirror cardstock. Then I attached it with foam tape as well.

In dem kleinen Stempelset ist auch ein Dream Big Text enthalten, das Big war mir hier aber zu klein. Also habe ich nur das Dream mit goldenem Embossingpulver auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst. Dann habe ich die Buchstaben für das Wort Big wieder aus goldenem Spiegelcardstock und zusätzlich einen kleinen Stern mit einer Stanze von Magnolia gestanz. Dann habe ich alle Textteile mit dickem 3D Tape aufgeklebt.

 

In the mini stamp set there is also a Dream Big text included, but the word big was too small for this card. So I only gold heat embossed the word dream onto black cardstock. Then I die cut the letters for the word Big and a additionl little star using a die by Magnolia from gold mirror cardstock and adhered the text with thick foam tape to the card.

 

 Da ich von Anfang an eine schwarze Mattung für diese Karte nicht nötig fand, habe ich den Cardstock ein wenig größer geschnitten und ihn nach dem Dekorieren nur noch auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

Und hier könnt Ihr den Schein der aufgespritzen Metallic Watercolor, des Spiegelcardstocks sowie den Glitter auf dem Stern besser sehen.

Since I decided before cutting the cardstock that a black mat wouldn't be necessary with this dark backtround I had cut the cardstock a bit larger and then only attached it to a white note card.

And here you can see the shine of the gold metallic watercolor and then mirror cardstock and also the glitter on the star a lot better.

Heute zeigen wir euch beim Stempeleinmaleins diese Karte, die wirklich einfach zu machen ist. Aber die Front lässt sich aufstellen, und so bekommt die Karte eine tolle Tiefenwirkung.

Today we are sharing this card with you over at Stempeleinmaleins. It's really easy to make but you can pop up the front and the cards gets a wonderful depth.

So sieht die Karte geschlossen aus. An sich schon schön, und man erhält bereits einen kleinen Blick auf die Szene im Inneren. Hier muss man übrigens nicht unbedingt eine Szene einbauen, ein toller Hintergrund, z. B. gewischt oder auch aus Designpapier, sieht ebenso toll aus. Aber bei mir hat sich diese Szene irgendwie verselbständigt und so wurde sie viel aufwändiger, als ich geplant hatte.

This is the closed card. It looks great like this already, and you already get a look at part of the scene on the inside. By the way, you don't have to up a scene on the inside. A beautiful background like some inked cardstock or some pretty patterned paper looks as great. But here the inside somehow turned out way more detailed than I had planned.

Auf der Innenseite der Karte befindet sich ein kleines Cardstockstück - in meinem Fall mit Text - unter das man den schmalen Cardstockstreifen am rechten Rand der Kartenfront schieben kann. Dadurch stellt sich der Rest der Front auf und es entsteht diese 3D Wirkung.

Alle Motive auf meiner Karte sind wieder aus dem März-Release von ColoradoCraft. Hier auf der Front ist der Hamster aus dem Veggie Stack Set, der Vogel ist aus dem selben Set. Den Boden habe ich mit Distress Oxide Vintage Photo gewischt und einige Erdkrümel mit Copics aufgetupft. Die Ränder rund um den kreisförmigen Ausschnitt sind mit Mowed Lawn und Mermaid Lagoon gewischt, damit sie zum Hintergrund im Inneren der Karte passen.

On the inside of the card there's a little piece of cardstock - in this case I stamped the text onto it - under which the small strip on the right side of the card front can be tucked under. This way the rest of the card front gets popped up and you get this beautiful 3D look.

All images on this card are again from the march release by ColoradoCraft. Here on the front I used the hamster from the Veggie Stack set, the bird is from the same set. I inked the ground with Vintage Photo and added a few dots with Copics. The edges of the circle cut out I lightly inked with Mowed Lawn and Mermaid Lagoon, to make them match the background on the inside.

Und das ist die Szene, die sich zeigt, wenn man die Karte komplett öffnet. 

Für den Hintergrund habe ich wieder Mermaid Lagoon und Mowed Lawn verwendet, den erdigen Boden habe ich diesmal mit Copics gemacht. Der Zaun ist der mit der Picket Fence Border von LawnFawn gemacht und leicht mit Copics schattiert.

Die Motive hier sind ein wilder Mix aus den Sets Veg Out, Garden Therapy und Summer Garden, alle sind mit Copics coloriert.

Der Text ist aus dem Set Garden Therapy und weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst. Den tollen schnörkeligen Rahmen, der eigentlich um den Text herum verläuft, habe ich weggeschnitten. Einfach, weil er zu breit für die Karte war.

And this is the scene that you see when you open up the card.

For the background I again used Mermaid Lagoon and Mowed Lawn, the soily ground I created with my Copics. The fence is made with the Picket Fence Border by LawnFawn and lightly shaded with my Copics.

The images here are a wild mix from the stamp sets Veg Out, Garden Therapy and Summer Garden, all are colored with Copics.

The text is from the set Garden Therapy and white heat embossed onto black cardstock. I had to cut off the beautiful flourish frame, that gets stamped around the text, just because it was too large for the card.

Stempeleinmaleins - Ausgabe vom 29. April 2023

 

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Heute gibt es beim Stempeleinmaleins einen neuen Sketch für Euch. Und ich habe danach diese sonnige Karte gemacht. Dafür habe ich den Sketch ein wenig abgewandelt - meine Elemente waren einfach zu groß. Deswegen habe ich ihn von hochkant auf quer gedreht und auch die Position des Textes etwas verändert.

Today we have a new sketch over at Stempeleinmaleins. And I made this sunny card after it. I had to make some changes to the sketch - my elements were just too large. So I changed the orientation from landscape to portrait and also changed the position of the text.

Als Basis habe ich ein Stück weißen Cardstocks verwendet, das noch fertig geprägt auf meinem Schreibtisch lag. Ich habe es mit einem Embossingfolder von Cuttlebug geprägt. Dann habe ich goldene Metallic Watercolor darübergespritzt.

As the base I used a piece of white cardstock, that I had already dry embossed on my table. I had embossed it with an embossing folder by Cuttlebug. Then I spritzed some gold metallic watercolor onto the cardstock.

Aus dem Cardstock habe ich dann mit einer der Elegant Stax Stanzen von MFT dieses oben spitze Fenster ausgestanzt. 

Um den Rahmen darum zu gestalten, habe ich die nächste Größe dieser Stanzen aus goldenem Spiegelcardstock gestanzt und die innere Kante der Stanze mit einem spitzen Bleistift nachgefahren. Entlang dieser Linie habe ich dann mit der Schere geschnitten und so einen schmalen Rahmen mit den tollen Nähten erhalten. Diesen Rahmen habe ich auf den weißen Cardstock geklebt.

Den weißen Cardstock habe ich dann mit einem etwas größeren Stück Cardstock hinterlegt. Auch der war ursprünglich weiß - ich habe ihn erst mit hellerem Gelb vollflächig gewischt, dann habe ich mit der Ray of Light Stencil von MFT und dunkler-gelber Tinte die Strahlen nur in dem Bereich aufgewischt, der später durch das Fenster sichtbar ist. Auch auf den gelb gewischten Cardstock habe ich dann goldene Metallic Watercolor aufgespritzt.

I've die cut a window from this white cardstock, using one of the Elegant Stax dies by MFT.

To create the frame around it, I've die cut the next size of these dies from gold mirror cardstock and traced the inner edge of the die with a sharp pencil. Then I cut along this line with my scissors and ended up with this thin frame with the beautiful stitched. I attached the frame around the window.

Behind the white cardstock I put a slightly larger piece of cardstock. This was white as well - I first completly blended some lighter yellow ink onto it, then used some darker yellow ink and the Ray of Light stencil by MFT to add the rays only in the area, that will be visible through the window later. I spritzed more gold metallic watercolor onto the yellow cardstock as well.

Für meine Deko habe ich die Stunning Starflowers von Altenew in verschiedenen Blautönen gestempelt und mit der Schere ausgeschnitten. Außerdem habe ich aus hell-türkisfarbenem Cardstock zwei Farnblätter mit Stanzen von Spellbinders gestanzt und mit Copics etewas schattiert. 

Meinen Haupttext habe ich so auf den gelben Cardstock gestempelt, dass er im Fenster zu sehen ist. Der Text ist aus dem Set Window Scene: Spring von LawnFawn.

Als Untertext habe ich ein "have a beautiful day" aus dem Set Brighter Days von Concord and 9th weiß auf einen Streifen schwarzen Cardstocks embosst.

For my decorations I stamped the Stunning Starflowers by Altenew with different shades of blue ink, then cut them out with my scissors. I also die cut two fern leaves from light aqua cardstock using dies by Spellbinders, then shaded those a bit with my Copics.

My main text is stamped onto the yellow cardstock so it will be visible in the window later. I used  stamp from the Window Scene: Spring stamp set by LawnFawn for it.

As a subtext I white heat embossed a "have a beautiful day" from the Brighter Days stamp set by Concord and 9th onto black cardstock.

Die verschiedenen Lagen und Elemente meiner Karte habe ich mit 3D Tape zusammengeklebt und als Deko noch einige goldene Pailetten aufgeklebt. Dann habe ich alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

I glued the different layers and elements of my card together with foam tape and added some gold sequins as decorations. Then I attached it to a white note card.

In der heutigen Ausgabe des Stempeleinmaleins zeigen wir Euch eine Sechseckige Explosionbox, die perfekt als Verpackung für eine kleine Flasche  Sekt ist. Da ich keine zur Hand hatte, habe ich die Größe meiner Box etwas verkleinert und sie so passend für eine Dose Sekt gemacht.

In today's issue of  Stempeleinmaleins we are sharing a tutorial for a Hexagon Explosion Box, that is perfect to put a little bottle of champagne inside. Well, I didn't have one at home so I changed the measurements a bit to make it smaller and the right size for a small can of champagne.

Da ja das Osterwochenende ist, fand ich, die Boxen würden sich gut als kleines Goodie beim Osterbrunch machen. Deswegen habe ich meine Box ganz im Osterlook gestaltet.

Die Box habe ich aus weißem Cardstock gewerkelt. Die Außenseiten habe ich von unten her leicht mit Distress Oxide Lost Shadow und Hickory Smoke gewischt. 

Since it's the easter weekend I though, these be cute little gifts for our  family easter brunch. And so I created a bunny themed box.

I made my box from white cardstock. I lightly inked up the sides from the bottom with Distress Oxide Lost Shadow and Hickory Smoke.

Am Deckel habe ich zwei Hasenohren angebracht. Die sind ebenfalls aus weißem Cardstock gemacht und mit Distress Oxide Picked Raspberry ein wenig rosa eingefärbt. Außerdem habe ich meinem Hasen einen kleinen Zylinder aufgesetzt - der überdeckt eine Klebestelle. Den Zylinder habe ich aus schwarzem Cardstock gemacht, ein Band aus grünem Cardstock drumgewickelt und außerdem ein kleines rosafarbenes Blümchen mit Perlenmitte daran befestigt.

Um den Deckel habe ich ein Stück rosafarbenes Organzaband gewickelt und vorne zur Schleife gebunden. Daran habe ich ein doppeltes Banner - aus rosa gemustertem Designpapier, das ich auch im Inneren der Box verwendet habe, und hellgrünem Cardstock - angebunden, auf das ich mit grüner Tinte "Gruß vom Osterhasen" gestempelt habe.

To the lid I attached two bunny ears. I die cut those from white cardstock again and inked them a bit with Distress Oxide Picked Raspberry. I also gave my bunny a black hat - it covers a seem and some glue. I made the hat from black cardstock, tied a ribbon made from green cardstock around it and decorated it with a little pink flower with a white pearl in the center.

I tied some pink organdy ribbon around the lid and tied it to a bow on the front. I also tied two banners - one cut from pink patterned paper, that I also used on the inside of the box, and one cut from light green cardstock - that I had stamped a "greetings from the easter bunny" text with green ink onto to the bow.

Außerdem habe ich noch einen weißen Pompon als Schwänzchen an die Rückseite der Box geklebt.

I also attached a white pompom as a bunny's tail to the back of the box.

Und hier nochmal ein Bild der geöffneten Box. Drei der Seitenteile sind feststehend, die anderen drei öffnen sich, wenn man den Deckel abnimmt. 

And here I have the picture of the opened box for you again. Three of the sides stay standing, the other three pop open when the lid is taken off.

Ich habe eine knallig-pink farbene Sektdose in meine Box gestellt. 

Den Boden der Box habe ich aus grünem Cardstock gemacht, an die feststehenden Seitenteile habe ich Gras, gestanzt aus grünem Cardstock, angebracht. Dieselbe Bordüre habe ich auch einmal rund um die Dose gewickelt. So sieht es ein wenig aus wie ein Osternest. 

Die Seitenteile im Inneren habe ich alle mit rosa-weißem Designpapier mit Holzmuster beklebt. An den Seiten des Designpapiers waren Blumenranken - jeweils eine davon habe ich auf die linke und rechte aufklappende Seite geklebt.

 

I put a bright pink can of champagne inside my box.

The bottom of my box is made from green cardstock, I also attached some grass, die cut from green cardstock, to the bottom of the three sides that stay standing. I wrapped some of the same border around the bottom of my champagne can. Now it looks a bit like a easter basket.

I attached pieces of white and pink patterned paper with a wooden pattern to the insides of my box. There were flower borders at the edge of the patterned paper - I used these on the left and right opening panels.

 

 Auf das mittlere, sich öffnende Cardstockstück wollte ich eigentlich nur einen Gruß aufbringen. Das war mir dann aber irgendwie zu nackig. Und so habe ich hier doch noch ein kleines Motiv mit aufgeklebt. 

Die Ostereier sind aus dem Set Simply Celebrate Spring von LawnFawn, hinter das mittlere Osterei habe ich einen der Hasen aus dem Little Bunny Agenda Stempelset von MamaElephant gesetzt. Und hinter den Motiven befindet sich ein Reststück der Grasbordüre.

Darüber habe ich ein Stück weißen und rosa gematteten Cardstock geklebt, auf den ich mit grüner Tinte und Stempeln aus dem Set Schöne Ostern von Create a Smile einen Ostergruß gestempelt habe. 

Als Deko kamen dann noch ein weiteres Blümchen sowie drei weitere weiße Perlen zum Einsatz.

Onto the middle opening panel I only wanted to attach a greeting. But that looked way too plain. And so I decided, to add a little image here.

The easter eggs are from the Simply Celebrate Spring stamp set by LawnFawn, behind the center egg I put one of the bunnies from the Little Bunny Agenda by MamaElephant. And behind the images I placed a left over piece of the grass border.

Above that I adhered a white banner, matted pink, onto that I had stamped a "happy easter" with green ink.

To add a bit of decoration I used another little flower and three more pearls here.

Heute gibt es einen neuen Sketch beim Stempeleinmaleins und ich habe danach diese Osterkarte gemacht.

Today there is a new sketch over at Stempeleinmaleins and I made this eater card following it.

Für den Hintergrund habe ich ein Stück weißen Cardstocks von oben nach unten mit Distress Oxide Speckled Egg, Salvaged Patina und Peacock Feathers gewischt. Dann habe ich etwas Wasser und weiße Metallic Watercolor daraufgespritzt.

Eigentlich hatte ich einen anderen Hintergrund für die Karte geplant und auch schon fertig. Hier hatte ich den Roses all Over Background von MFT vor dem Wischen auf den Cardstock embosst und dafür die Spritzer weggelassen. Aber am Ende war das viel zu unruhig und ich habe diesen einfacheren Hintergrund gemacht.

Oben rechts habe ich einen Halbkreis aus dem Hintergrund gestanzt. Außerem habe ich einen weiteren, etwas größeren Kreis aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und wieder mit Speckled Egg eingefärbt. Den habe ich unten links an die Kante des Cardstocks geklebt, er bildet den Hintergrund für meine Motive.

For the background I've inked up a piece of white cardstock from bottom to top with Distress Oxide Speckled Egg, Salvaged Patina and Peacock Feathers. Then I flicked some water and white metallic watercolor onto it.

I originally had planned a different background and also had it ready. I had white heat embossed the Roses all Over Background by MFT prior to inking the cardstock and left out the water and metallic watercolor. But once I had my elements put onto that background, the whole card was way too busy so I decided to go with a simpler background instead.

I cut half of a circle from the top right edge of the background and also die cut a slightly larger circle from white cardstock and inked it with Speckled Egg. I attached that larger circle along the bottom left edge of the cardstock, it makes the background for my elements.

Ich wollte unbedingt die Botanicuts Pussy Willow von TheGreetery verwenden - Weiden und Palmkätzchen sind für mich neben Schneeglöckchen die ultimativen Frühlingsboten. Ich habe die verschiedenen Elemente aus grünem, craft farbenem und weißem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Copics ein wenig schattiert. Die Palmkätzchen habe ich im unteren Bereich hellgrau eingefärbt und dann mit einem weißen Gelstift feine Linien aufgemalt, damit sie schön haarig wirken. Dann habe ich alle Zweige zu einem Osterstrauß zusammen- und auf den hellen Halbkreis geklebt. 

Eigentlich wollte ich noch ein paar Ostereier in den Strauß hängen, das sah aber irgendwie komisch aus - meine Ostereier waren wohl zu klein, ich wollte aber auch nicht die ganzen Zweige verdecken - und ich habe darauf verzichtet. 

I really wanted to use those Botanicuts Pussy Willow dies by TheGreetery. Pussy willows are - besides snowdrops - the ultimate heralds of spring to me. I die cut the different pieces from green, kraft and white cardstock and shaded them a bit with Copics. The pussy willows I colored a light grey and then added fine strokes with a white gel pen to make them look hairy. Then I arranged all the branches to some kind of bouquet and attached them to the half circle.

I had planned to hang some easter eggs into the branches, but that looked strange - guess the easter egg images I used were too small but I didn't want to cover too much of the branches - and so I skipped that idea. 

Die Buchstaben für das Wort Ostern lagen, aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt, noch von einer anderen Karte als Rest auf meinem Schreibtisch. Sie sind mit dem Spell Anything Alphabet Stanzenset von MFT gemacht. Ich habe sie von unten mit Distress Oxide Mowed Lawn und, nur ganz unten am Rand, ein wenig Rustic Wilderness eingefärbt und sie leicht überlappend unten quer über die Karte geklebt. Da die aufeinander geklebten Zweige recht hoch waren, habe ich alle Buchstaben bis auf das O, das ja auf die Zweige geklebt ist, mit 3D Tape hinterlegt.

Ergänzt habe ich den Text mit einem weiß auf craft farbenen Cardstock embossten "schöne" aus dem Stempelset Kleine Worte 2 von Stampcorner. 

Und dann wollte ich noch einen kleinen Osterhasen mit auf die Karte bringen, der aber vom Stil her nicht zu niedlich sein sollte. Dieser kleine Kerl ist von Magnolia. Ich habe ihn mit Distress Embossing Glaze Walnut Stain auf weißen Cardstock embosst, ausgeschnitten und links vor dem Wort Ostern auf die Karte geklebt.

The letters for the die cut word Easter, die cut from white cardstock, were left overs from another card I made recently. They are made using the Spell Anything Alphabet dies by MFT. I used Distress Oxide Mowed Lawn to ink them, darker at the bottom and light at the top, then added a hint of Rustic Wilderness to the very bottom and attached them to the card, overlapping the individual letters slightly. Since the stacked branches were pretty thick, I put foam tape behind all the letters besides the O, which is adhered to the top of the branches. 

I finished the text with a small "happy", white heat embossed onto a strip of kraft colored cardstock.

And then I also wanted to bring in a little easter bunny, but wanted one, that fits the style of the card. I found this little guy by Magnolia in my stash and heat embossed it with Distress Embossing Glaze Walnut Stain onto white cardstock. Then I cut him out and attached them to the left side of the card, right before the word easter.

Den kompletten Cardstock habe ich dann mit 3D Tape hinterlegt und auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt. 

Damit der Halbkreis oben rechts nicht störend ist - er sah ein wenig aus, als habe ihn jemand aus Vereshen aus dem Cardstock gestanzt -, habe ich noch drei kleine Wolken aus craftfarbenem Cardstock gestanzt und, teilweise unter den dekorierten Cardstock geschoben, auf den Kartenrohling geklebt.

Ganz zum Schluss habe ich dann noch einige türksifarben-irisierende Glitzersteine auf der Karte verteilt.

I put foam tape behind the whole cardstock panel and adhered it to a white card base.

The half circle at the top right looked odd, like someone accidently cut it from the card, so I die cut three little clouds from kraft cardstock and glued it to the card base, partially tuck them behind the decorated cardstock.

To finish the card I added a few aqua iridescent gems to it.

Heute zeigen wir Euch beim Stempeleinmaleins eine Leporello Karte. Und bei meiner dreht sich alles rund ums Thema Party und Feiern. So ist sie dann vielseitig einsetzbar, denn ich habe noch keinen bestimmten Empfänger im Kopf.

Over at Stempeleinmaleins we are sharing a tutorial for this Leporello Card today. Mine is all about party and celebrating. This way I can use it for different kind of occasions, because I don't have a specific one I want to give this to in mind yet.

Die Karte sieht ein wenig so aus, als wäre sie von einer Banderole zusammengehalten - ist sie aber nicht. Tatsächlich steckt sie in einer kleinen Box.

Die habe ich aus weißem Cardstock gearbeitet, mit einer Banderole aus blauem Cardstock umwickelt und darauf dann noch einen Streifen Designpapier beklebt. Unter die obere Kante des Designpapiers habe ich etwas weißen Cardstock, den ich in unregelmäßigen Wellen gestanzt habe, geschoben.

Dekoriert habe ich die Box mit einem Kreis aus weißem Cardstock, auf den ich in hellgrau ein Kreismuster gestempelt habe, zwei kleineren Kreisen und einem Stern aus goldenem Spiegelcardstock sowie einen Streifen blauen Cardstocks, auf den ich mit einer Hotfoild Plate von Kartenkunst ein "von Herzen" gold auffoliert habe.

The card looks a bit like it's held closed with a sleeve - but it isn't. Actually it is stuck in a little box.

I made this box from white cardstock, wrapped some dark blue cardstock around it and then glued a strip of patterned paper on top. Under the top edge of the patterned paper I put a piece of white cardstock, the top edge I have cut into a wavy shape with a die.

To decorate the box I attached a circle cut from white cardstock, that I stamped a circle pattern onto with light grey ink, two smaller circles and a star cut from gold mirror cardstock and a strip of blue cardstock, that I foiled a "from the heart" text onto.

Nimmt man die Karte - bzw. das Leporello - aus der Box, dann sieht man dessen Front auch komplett.

When you pull the card - or leporello - out of the box, you can see its full front.

Auch die Basis  meines Leporellos habe ich aus weißem Cardstock gearbeitet.

Für die Dekoration der Front habe ich ein etwas kleineres Stück weißen Cardstocks zugeschnitten und daraus das Rectangle Peek a Boo Window ausgestanzt. Das erzeugt rund um den Ausschnitt einen tollen gestitchten Rand. 

Auf das Leporello habe ich wieder ein Stück des Designpapiers, das ich schon auf der Box verwendet habe, aufgeklebt. Das sieht so toll nach goldenen Konfetti, das aus einem dunkelblauen Himmel regnet, aus. Dann habe ich den weißen Cardstock mit dem Ausschnitt mit 3D Tape aufgeklebt.

Für die Deko fast aller meiner Leporello-Seiten habe ich die In Good Hands Stanzen sowie die Sets, Barware Basics, Longstem Bareware, Drink Decor und Garnish, alle von MFT verwendet. Damit kann man grandiose Getränke gestalten.

Alle Teile bis auf das Glas an sich habe ich aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Copics coloriert. Das Glas, bzw. die Gläser, denn es kommen noch mehr, sind zweimal aus Vellum gestanzt. Dann habe ich sie durch meine Xyron gedreht und die Dekoteile zwischen beide Gläser gesetzt. Zum Schluss habe ich die Hand angeklebt. Ich habe Hand mit Getränk hinter den weißen Cardstock geschoben und mit dünnerem 3D Tape aufgeklebt, so dass sich eine mittlere Ebene ergibt. 

Das Cheers hier ist mit einer Stanze von CraftersCompanion gemacht. Ich habe das Wort einmal aus blauem Cardstock, einmal aus goldenem Spiegelcardstock ausgestanzt und beide Teile leicht versetzt auf die Front des Leporellos geklebt.

 I used white cardstock again to create the base of my leporello.

To decorate the front I cut a smaller piece of white cardstock than the leporello itself and cut the Rectangle Peek a Boo Window by MFT from it. It creates a great stitched border around the cut out.

Onto the leporello I glued another piece of the patterned paper, that I had already used on my box. It looks like gold confetti falling from a dark blue sky. Then I used foam tape to attach the frame to the leporello.

For the decoration on nearly all my pages I used the In Good Hands dies and the sets Barware Basics, Longstem Bareware, Drink Decor and Garnish, all by MFT. You can make such georgeous drinks with these.

I die cut alle pieces besides the glass from white cardstock and colored them with Copics. The glass - or glasses, there will be more - from Vellum, two of each glass, then ran them through my Xyron and put the colored pieces between the two die cuts. Last I attached the hand, slit it under the white cardstock with the cut out window and adhered the hand and drink with thin foam tape. This creates a great middle layer.

The cheers is made using a die by CraftersCompanion. I cut the word once from dark blue cardstock and once from gold mirror cardstock and attached both onto the front of my leporello, moving the gold one a bit to the top and right for some kind of shadow effect.

Und so sieht mein komplett aufgklappte Leporello aus. Die Rückseiten habe ich einfach mit schwarzen Cardstockstücken beklebt. So sieht es fertig aus und ich kann darauf einen persönlichen Text schreiben. 

And this is my completly opened Leporello. I just glued pieces of black cardstock to the backsides. This gives it a finished look and I can write some personal words onto it.

Auf der zweiten Seite meines Leporellos ist ein weiterer Drink zu sehen. Diesmal dekoriert mit Sahnehaube, Streuseln und einem Banner außen am Glas. 

In den Hintergrund habe ich wieder das schon bekannte Designpapier gesetzt. Und um die Optik der Front wieder aufzugreifen, habe ich hier einen gestitchten Rahmen, gestanzt aus weißem Cardstock mit einer der Stitched Rectangle Frames Stanzen, aufgeklebt.

Damit das Leporello nicht zu dick wird und sich noch gut schließen lässt, habe ich hier alle Elemente außer dem Text direkt aufgeklebt. Zum Aufkleben Texts habe ich dünnes 3D Tape benutzt.

Der Text ist mit einer weiteren HotfoilPlate aus dem Mini Worte zum Geburtstag Set von Kartenkunst gold auf dunkelblauen Cardstock foliert. Dann habe ich ihn ausgeschnitten und mit goldenem Spiegelcardstock gemattet.

There's a different drink on the second page of my leporello. This time it's decorated with a cream puff, sprinkles and a banner on the outside of the glass.

In the background I used the already seen patterned paper. And to keep the look of the front and the page a bit alike, I die cut a stitched frame from the Stitched Rectangle Frames die set from white cardstock and glued it down.

To avoid the leporello becoming too thick and make it foldable nicely I glued down all the elements besides the text directly onto the leporello. To adhere the texts I used thin foam tape.

The text here is again foiled with gold foil onto dark blue cardstock, then I matted it with gold mirror cardstock.

Auf der dritten Seite habe ich ein kleines Kuvert, in das eine Gutscheinkarte passt, aufgeklebt. Das ist mit der Seed Pocket Stanze von MarianneDesign aus dunkelblauem Cardstock gestanzt und wieder mit Designpapier beklebt. Um es zu verschließen habe ich an der oberen Lasche einen kleinen Kreis und auf dem Umschlag selbst einen Stern, beide aus goldenem Spiegelcardstock, mit dünnem 3D Tape aufgeklebt. Darum habe ich etwas weißes Twine gewickelt.

Unter dem Stern habe ich einen weiteren folierten Text aufgeklebt - hier habe ich nur einen Teil einer der Hotfoil Plates aus dem schon erwähnten Set von Kartenkunst benutzt.

Onto page 3 I attached a little envelope, that  can hold a giftcard. I die cut it from dark blue cardstock using the Seed Pocket die by MarianneDesign and then decorated it with the same "confetti" patterned paper. To close the envelope, I adhered a small circle to the flap and a star to the envelope itself, both cut from gold mirror cardstock, using thin foam tape. Then I wrapped a piece of white twine around them.

Under the star I attached another hot foiled sentiment, it means "for you".

Auf der vierten und somit letzten Seite befindet sich wieder ein Drink. Die Seite selbst ist wie Seite zwei gestaltet, für den Cocktail habe ich nochmal das Glas von der Vorderseite benutzt, diesmal dekoriert mit Fruchtspieß und Orangenscheibe.  Und auch ein weiterer folierterter Text, wieder aufgeklebt mit dünnem 3D Tape, findet sich hier.

Onto the fourth and last page I put another drink. This page is created just like page #2, using the same cocktail glass I used on the front again. I decorated this drink with some fruits on a pick and a slice of orange. And there's also another hotfoiled text - hip hip hooray here - on this page, again attached with thin foam tape.

Und hier könnt Ihr das aufgeklappte Leporello nochmal so fotografiert sehen, dass auch all die gold-glänzenden Teile gut erkennbar sind.
