Mekka-Einkäufe die Zweite

Im heutigen Post zeige ich Euch ein weiteres Werk, auf dem die ein oder andere Errungenschaft des diesjährigen Stempelmekkas zum Einsatz kam. Und ich glaube, hiermit eröffne ich dann auch die Weihnachtsbastel-Saison. Wobei ich denke, Weihnachtliches wird sich hier noch ein wenig in Grenzen halten. Weil der Nussknacker von CreativeDepot für uns aber zur Mission wurde, musste ich ihn auch zeitnah verbasteln.

In today's post I am sharing with you another project that I used a few of my finds at this year's Stempelmekka on. And I think, with this card christmas craft season is officially here. But don't worry, I will keep christmas stuff very low for quite some time. This nutcracker stamp by CreativeDepot became a mission to us and so I had to use it as soon as possible.

 

Mission? Ich erzähle Euch die Geschichte, dann habt Ihr was zum Schmunzeln.

Das Nussknacker-Motiv war bereits als Vorschau für die am Mekka angebotenen Tüten-Workshops zu sehen, allerdings nur als Deko auf der Tüte. Deren Größe kannten wir nicht und somit auch nicht, wie groß der Stempel sein könnte. Im Lagerfeen-Schnack auf YouTube, in dem jeden Freitag (und somit auch am Tag unserer Anreise) die Neuheiten der Woche gezeigt werden, wurde das Stempelset auch nicht gezeigt. Wir vermuteten schon richtig, dass sie das erstmal nur auf dem Mekka verkaufen wollten - aber keine Angst, es kommt später noch in den Shop. Meine Freundin und ich waren aber so angtan von dem Motiv, dass wir immer weiter drüber reden mussten - und als dann die Neuheiten im Shop waren, konnten wir immerhin rausfinden, dass das Stempelset eine Größe von 10 x 10 cm haben müsste. Also haben wir unser Schul-Mathe hervorgekramt und mit Satz des Pythagoras sowie dem Abzug der nicht ausgefülten Ecken der Stempelfolie die vermutliche Größe errechnet. Übrigens absolut richtig, wie wir am nächsten Morgen im Hotel vom Team von CreativeDepot erfahren haben. 

Dieses Stempelset war dann auch das allererste, das wir auf dem Mekka gekauft haben. Erstens natürlich aus Angst, es könnte später ausverkauft sein und dann auch, weil wie beide absolute Stanzen-Junkies sind und die Messe für uns eher "Stanzen- und paar Stempel-Mekka" heißen müsste. Also wollten wir das Mekka bewusst mit einem Stempel beginnen. Tja, wir Stempler sind manchmal eben ein wenig verrückt.... ;)

So, nun aber zum Projekt. Das ist von der neusten Kollektion von TheGreetery inspiriert. Dort gibt es ein Capsules Stanzen- und Stempelset. Leider verschickt TheGreetery ja schon länger nicht mehr nach Deutschland und der einzige Shop in Europa, der die Firma anbietet, tut dies seit Anfang des Jahres auch nicht mehr. Ich finde das echt schade und ehrlich gesagt bin ich auch ein wenig sauer. Gerade wenn man schon Basis-Artikel der Firma hat, zu denen es immer weitere Erweiterungen gibt, an die man dann aber nicht mehr rankommt. Nun gut, dann probiere ich das Grundprojekt eben so gut es geht nachzubauen. 

Und da kommt schon die erste Mekka-Neuheit ins Spiel: das Fenster mit dem Muster samt Aufleger. Eigentlich ist das ein Fenster-Stanzenset für die Papiertüten von CreativeDepot, das wurde mir aber erst später bewusst. Ich habe es gesehen und dachte mir, es wäre perfekt für diese Karte. Damit habe ich dann das oberste Fenster gestanzt und seitlich je zwei ziehharmonika-förmig gefaltete Papierstreifen angesetzt, zwischen denen sich eine Lage Folie befindet. So poppt die Karte auf, wenn man sie aus dem Umschlag nimmt, lässt sich zum Verschicken aber recht flach zusammenfalten. 

 

Mission? I am telling you the story to give you a good laugh.

CreativeDepot did some giftbag workshops at Stempelmekka and those you had to book in advance. When booking them, you got a preview of the giftbag and some had the nutcracker on them. We didn't know the size of the giftbags and so weren't able to tell the size of the image. Every friday morning - that's the day we traveled to Dortmund - they post a video on YouTube, where they show this week's new products, but the nutcracker wasn't in them.  We thought, maybe it will only be available at the fair and we found out, that we were right. It will be available in the shop later in the year. My friend and I were so in love with the image, that we couldn't stop talk about it. When the new products of the week went online in the shop we found out, that the stamp sheet should be about 10 x 10 cm. So we remembered all the maths we learned back to school and with the help of the Pythagorean Theorem and by subtracting the empty corners of the sheet we thought to have found out the size of the image. When we went to breakfast the next morning some of the CreativeDepot team was there, too, and we had to tell them this story. Turned out that we were completly right about the size. 

So this stamp set was the very first thing we bought at the fair. Not only because we were afraid it might sell out, but also because we are both die-aholics. For us, the fair should be named "dies and a few stamps Mekka" instead of "stamp Mekka". So we decided to make a stamp our first purchase because of the name of the fair. I know, us crafters are a bit crazy every now and then... ;)

Okay, on to the project! It is inspired by the new collection by TheGreetery. They have a new Capsules stamp- and die set. Sadly they don't ship to Germany anymore since quite some time but since about a year the one and only european store, that is allowed to carry them, stopped shipping to the EU, too. I am really sad about it - and also a bit angry. Especially if you have bought some kind of basic die, that they come out with additions now and that you are not able to get anymore. Well, so I had to try to make my own version.

That's where the first Mekka-purchase for today's post comes into play: the window die. It's actually an additional window for the giftbag die, but I only realized that a lot later. I just saw the set and knew it will be perfect for what I had in mind. I die cut the top window with it and put two accordion folded strips to each side of the frame, putting a piece of acetate inbeween. The card pops up when taken out of the envelope but can be folded pretty flat for mailing. 

 

 Im Hintergrund befindet sich ein Stück schwarzen Cardstocks, auf den ich mit weißer Paste die Elemente des ersten Stencils des Poinsettia Layering Stencil Sets von WaffleFlower aufgetragen habe - übrigens ist auch das auf dem Mekka in meine Tasche gewandert - es war der allerletzte Kauf am Sonntag. Somit eröffnet und schließt diese Karte quasi mein diesjähriges Mekka....

 Die Lage 2 habe ich mit silberner Astro-Paste auf Acetate aufgetragen. Durch den Abstand zwischen den beiden Lagen - der ja durch den Cardstockstreifen seitlich entsteht - wirkt das Muster wunderbar plastisch. 

Hinter dem oberen Teil des oberen Rahmens habe ich zwei Pinienäste geklebt. Sie sind aus olivgrünem Cardstock gestanzt und mit etwas weißer Acrylfarbe  betupft. 

Auf den Aufleger mit dem ausgestanzten Fenster habe ich einen Rahmen aus olivgrünem Cardstock geklebt. Dafür habe ich das Fenster erneut ausgestanzt und entlang des gepunkteten Rands mit der Schere ausgeschnitten. So sind übrigens auch die schwarzen Cardstockstücke entstanden, denn die rechteckige  Stanze im Set - die ohne Deko - passt nicht genau zu der mit der Deko, sie ist ein wenig länger. Aber es ging auch so ganz gut.

Unten auf den Rahmen habe ich noch ein Banner aufgeklebt, auf das ich einen Weihnachtsgruß aus dem Set Wonder of Christmas von HoneyBeeStamps aufgestempelt habe. Das Banner ist mit der Elegant Folded Banner Stanze von MFT aus weißem Cardstock gemacht und mit Copics schattiert.

 

In the background there's a piece of black cardstock, that I stenciled the first of the two layering stencils from the Poinsettia layering stencil set by WaffleFlower onto using white paste. This is also something I bought at the fair - acutally it was my very last buy. So this card kind of starts and finishes this year's Mekka for me...

The second layer I did with silver AstroPaste on a piece of acetate. The distance between the layers, created by one of the cardstock strips on the side, makes the pattern wonderfully dimensional.

Behind the top piece of my card I put two pine branches. I cut them from olive green cardstock and dabbed some white acrylic paint onto them.

I glued a frame, made from olive cardstock around the window in the top layer. I simply cut out the window again and cut with my scissors along the dotted line. This is also how I made the base pieces - the plain rectangle die in the set with the giftbag window doesn't work for that, it's a bit taller. But it wasn't too hard to cut by hand.

To the bottom of the frame I put a banner, that I stamped a christmas greeting from Wonder of Christmas by HoneyBeeStamps onto. I die cut the banner from white cardstock using the Elegant Folded Banner die by MFT, then shaded it with Copics.

 

 Und jetzt kommen wir endlich zum Nussknacker, dem Star der Show - äh Karte. Ich wollte ihn weiß-silber colorieren. Also habe ich ihn mit grauer Tinte abgestempelt und mit Copics coloriert. Die dunkler grau colorierten Elemente habe ich mit einem Aqua Shimmer Pen beglittert, bei den weißen Elementen habe ich die Outlines mit einem feinen weißen Gelstift nachgemalt. Sie sind durch das Weiß immer noch etwas erkennbar, trotzdem wirken die Elemente so wirklich weiß. Die Outlines der Deko auf der Brust und des Säbels habe ich mit einem silbernen Gelstift nachgemalt. Und die Augen habe ich mit einem scharzen Fineliner nachgemalt, denn die sahen in Grau komisch aus. Oben auf die Edelsteine am Hut habe ich silberne Perlen geklebt. 

Ich habe den Nussknacker mit der Schere ausgeschnitten und dann mit 3D Tape auf die Folie in der Karte geklebt. Dort habe ich dann auch noch ein paar grüne Perlen verteilt. 

 

And now let's finally talk about the nutcracker, who's the star of the show - ehm card - here. I  wanted to color him in white and silver. So I stamped the image with a grey ink pad and colored him with Copics. The darker grey colored elements I made shimmery with an Aqua Shimmer Pen. With the white elements I used a fine white gel pen to go over the stamped lines. They are still kind of visible, but this makes the white pieces appear really white. I re-drew the decoration on the nutcracker's chest with a silver gel pen and re-did his eyes with a black fineliner - they really looked strange in grey. On top of the diamonds on the nutcracker's hat I glued some silver pearls.

I cut the image out with my scissors and adhered him with foam tape to the acetate. Then I also glued some green pearls to the acetate.

 

 Könnt Ihr auf diesem Bild die Tiefe und die verschiedenen Lagen der Karte erkennen? Ich finde den Effekt grandios.

 Sicher  habt Ihr schon die Schleife aus silbernem Glitter-Cardstock am oberen Rand der Karte entdeckt - und auch die Schleifenenden am unteren Rand der Karte. Nun, die ist nicht nur Deko, man kann damit ein weiteres Kärtchen, das hinter einem "doppelten Boden" hinten auf der Karte eingebaut ist, herausziehen.

Und diese Idee habe ich in einem Video von TheGreetery gesehen.  

 

For sure you've already spotted the bow, made from silver glitter cardstock, at the top of the card and also the ribbon ends at the bottom. This is not just decoration, you can pull out a card, that's hidden behind a doubled up layer at the back of the card,  with it.

I saw this idea in a video by TheGreetery.

 

 Die Schleife ist ebenfalls auf dem Mekka gekauft und aus dem Weihnachts-Countdown Stanzenset von Charlie und Paulchen. Statt der im Set enthaltenen Bandenden habe ich einfach gerade Cardstockstreifen aus dem silbernen Glitter-Cardstock geschnitten und unten Dreiecke herausgeschnitten. 

Die Schleife habe ich mit Polychromos ein wenig schattiert und dann mit 3D Tape zusammengesetzt, so dass sie nicht ebenfalls in die Tasche hinter der Karte mit hineinrutschen kann.

 

The bow I made with a die from another set I bought at Stempelmekka. It's from Weihnachts-Countdown by Charlie und Paulchen. Instead of the ribbon ends that are included in the set I simply cut two strips from the silver glitter cardstock and cut little triangles from the ends.

I shaded the bow with Polychromos and then put it together with foam tape to make sure, it doesn't slide into the pocket at the back of the card, too.

 

 Das Kärtchen hier ist übrigens mit der zweiten Stanze aus dem Set mit dem schnörkeligen Fenster, sie passt perfekt hinter meine Karte. Ich habe sie aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanzt und dann ein olivgrünes Etikett mittig aufgeklebt. Auf das habe ich einen weiteren Text aus dem Wonders of Christmas Set weiß aufembosst und einen Rahmen aus silbernem Glitter-Cardstock aufgeklebt. Das Etikett ist mit dünnem 3D Tape befestigt, so kann man dahinter eine Geschenkkarte stecken.

Und weil ich noch die olivegrünen Schnörkel vom Gestalten meines Rahmens für die Vorderseite übrig hatte, habe ich den kurzerhand als Deko aufgeklebt. Wie schon erwähnt, passen die beiden Fenster nicht genau auf-/zueinander. Aber ich habe einfach ein Stück in der Länger herausgeschnitten und die Enden passten perfekt in die Rundung meines Tickets.

 

I made this little card with the second die from the giftbag window die set, it fits perfectly behind my card. I cut it from black cardstock and then adhered an olive green label onto it. I white heat embossed another text from Wonders of Christmas onto the labe and then glued a frame, cut from silver glitter cardstock, around it. The label I adhered with thin foam tape, this way a giftcard can easily slid behind the labe. 

And since I had these green flourishs left from creating the frame on the outside of my card I simply used it to decorate the small card. As I already mentioned, the pieces don't fit onto each other. I just cut the sides a bit shorter and the rounded ends fit perfectly into the cut out corners of my label.

 

Sommerkarte mit Gutscheintasche

Inzwischen haben auch in Bayern die Sommerferien angefangen und die Urlaubszeit ist da. Da kann man einen Gutschein ruhig mal sommerlich verpacken.

Summer break has finally also started here in Bavaria and everyone's going on vacation. So I decided, to make a summer-ish giftcard holder.

 

Vor einiger Zeit hatte ich Euch kleine Badetaschen gezeigt. Nun kam mir die Idee, dass ich die, wenn ich sie weniger tief mache, die bestimmt auch auf eine Karte kleben könnte. Und es hat tatsächlich geklappt - meine Tasche ist noch etwa 0,7 cm tief. Und es passt perfekt eine Geschenkkarte hinein, die Ihr auf dem Foto oben noch sehen könnt.

 

A little ago I shared with you some beach bag goodies. I had the idea of making it less deep to be able to glue it on a card. It really worked - my bag is about 1/4" thick. And the bag has the perfect size to put a giftcard into it, as you can see on the picture above.

 

 Hier habe ich die Geschenkkarte herausgenommen, so dass ma von der Karte mehr sieht.

Der Hintergrund besteht hier ganz einfach aus hellblauem Cardstock, den ich von unten mit Distress Oxide Salty Ocean gewischt habe. Später habe ich dann mit Stanzen von Impression Obsession und Charlie und Paulchen noch drei Möwen aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanzt und auf den Himmel geklebt. 

Auf dem Himmel und noch hinter der Strandtasche befinden sich eine Lage Wellen aus hellblauem Cardstock und eine Lage Sand. Da man diese hintere Lage Sand kaum sieht, habe ich einfach das Stück, das beim Stanzen der anderen beiden Sandlagen übrig blieb verwendet. Die Sandlagen sind mit den  Slimline Stitched Hillside Borders von LawnFawn aus hellbraunem Cardstock gestanzt. Ich habe sie mit Distress Oxide Scorched Timber gewischt und dann weiße Acrylfarbe sowie Distress Ink Vintage Photo aufgespritzt.

The background is simply made from a piece of light blue cardstock, that I inked from the bottom up with Distress Oxide Salty Ocean. Later I die cut some seagulls by Impression Obsession and Charlie und Paulchen from black cardstock and glued them onto the sky.

On the sky, and behind the beach bag, I added a layer of waves, cut from very light blue cardstock, and a layer of sand. Since this sand layer is barely visible I simply used the left over edge of one of the  sand layers. I used the Slimline Stitched Hillside Borders dies by LawnFawn to cut the sand from light brown cardstock. Then I shaded it with Distress Oxide Scorched Timber and splattered white acrylic paint and Distress Ink Vintage Photo onto the cardstock.

 

 Diese Art von Strandtaschen kenne ich noch aus meiner Kindheit/Jugend - und momentan sind sie wieder total angesagt. Ich kann ich nicht erinnern, dass sie damals einen bestimmten Namen gehabt hätten, jetzt sind es "jelly totes". Ich habe die Tasche aus dunkelblauem Cardstock gestanzt. Und so, wie ich es früher hatte, habe ich etwas Designpapier als "Stoff" in die Tasche geklebt. So konnte nichts herausfallen und es konnte auch nicht gleich jeder sehen, was sich in der Tasche befindet. 

Dekoriert habe ich die Tasche, wie schon die als richtige Taschen gewerkelten von vor ein paar Wochen, mit dem Sonnenhut und einem Drink aus dem Woodland Critter Huggers Set von LawnFawn. Aus dem Designpapier, mit dem ich schon die Tasche hinterlegt habe, habe ich auch den Stoff am Hut sowie ein Halstuch gestanzt, das ich hier an den Griff geklebt habe. Alle anderen Teile sind aus weißem Cardstock und mit Copics schattiert. 

Um die Tasche herum habe ich zusätzlich noch eine der Happy Crabs sowie einen Seestern und eine Muschel aus dem Seashells Set von WaffleFlower sowie eine Sonnenbrille angebracht. Die Gläser der Sonnenbrille habe ich aus schwarzem Spiegel-Cardstock gestanzt, so dass sie schön glänzt.

 

I remember this type of beach bags from back when I was a kid/teen - and they are really in right now again. I don't remember those bags having a special name back then, now they are called "jelly totes". I die cut the bag from dark blue cardstock and, just like I had it as a kid, glued a piece of patterned paper as fabric inside the bag. This way nothing could fall out and also it wasn't as obvious what's inside the bag. 

I decorated the bag just like I did the "real" bags some time ago, with a hat and a drink from Woodland Critter Huggers by LawnFawn. From the same patterned paper, that I used inside the bag, I die cut the band on the hat and a hankerchief, that I adhered to the handle here. All the other elements I cut from white cardstock and colored them with Copics.

Around the bag I added one of the Happy Crabs and a starfish and shell from Seashells by WaffleFlwoer and some sun glasses. I cut the actual glass in the sun glasses from black mirror cardstock to make them nice  and shiny.

 

 Unten habe ich quer über die Karte meinen Text angebracht. 

Dafür habe ich ein "meet me at the" weiß auf braune Cardstockstücke embosst und dafür Stempel aus den Sets Christmas Before 'n Afters und Birthday Before 'n After von LawnFawn kombiniert.

Die Buchstaben für das Wort Beach habe ich wieder aus dunkelblauem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Copics schattiert. Hier auf dem Bild sehen sie fast schcwarz aus, es ist aber ein ganz dunkles Blau. Die Alphabet-Stanzen, die ich benutzt habe, sind noch von Whiff of Joy... 

Hinter dem Wort Beach habe ich dann noch eine weitere Muschel in den Sand gesteckt.

 

At the bottom I glued the text across the card.

I white heat embossed a "meet me at the" onto brown cardstock and used stamps from Christmas Before 'n Afters and Birthday Before 'n After  by LawnFawn.

The letters for the word beach I cut from dark  blue cardstock and shaded them with Copics. They look almost black on the picture, but in real life they are a very dark blue. The alphabet die set I used here is a very old one by Whiff of Joy.

Behind the word Beach I stuck another seashell into the sand.

 

 Beim Zusammensetzen der Karte habe ich die Elemente entweder flach hinter oder dann flach auf die Tasche geklebt, da sie sonst einfach zu hoch geworden wäre. Allein durch die Höhe der Tasche musste ich drei Lagen 3D Tape aufeiannderkleben, um die Sandlagen unten auf dem Hintergrund ankleben zu können.

Ganz zum Schluss habe ich alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

 

When putting the card together I glued the elements either flat behind or flat on top of the bag. The whole card would have become way too bulky if using any foam tape in between the layers. Just with the thickness of the bag I had to stack three layers of foam tape to be able to adhere the sand layers to the background.

As the last step I attached the card panel to a white card base.

 

Bubble Tea Geburtstagskarte

Heute habe ich eine Geburtstagskarte mit verstecktem Gutschein für Euch. Die Karte war eigentlich ganz anders geplant - aber eins kam zum anderen und zum Schluss blieb von der eigentlichen Idee nur noch das kleine Bubble Tea Motiv übrig. Aber ich bin zufrieden.

Today I have a card with a hidden gift card to share with you. This card was planned completly different - but one thing led to the next and in the end from this original idea the only thing that made it to the card was the little bubble tea image. I am still happy with the card.

 

Die Karte ist vom Design her eher einfach. Im Hintergrund befindet sich ein Stück braunen Cardstocks, auf den ich ein etwas kleineres Stück Transparentpapier mit goldenen Folienpunkten geklebt habe. Den Kleber kann man in diesem Fall super hinter den Folienpunkten verstecken. 

 

The card is more on the simpler side, design wise. I cut a piece from dark brown cardstock and glued a smaller piece of vellum with gold foil dots on it. The glue can easily be hidden behind those dots.

 

 Für den Becher voller Bubble Tea kam natürlich die Coffee Cup Gift Card Holder Stanze von LawnFawn zum Einsatz. Ich habe einmal den Becher aus cremefarbenem Cardstock gestanzt, den oberen Teil abgerundet weggeschnitten und denn Cardstock dann mit Distress Oxide Tea Dye und Vinage Phot gewischt. Außerdem habe ich Wassertropfen und mit Wasser vermischte dunkelbraune Stempelfarbe aufgespritzt. 

Die Bubbles unten im Becher habe ich dann mit Versafine Clair Pinecone und den gefüllten Kreisen aus dem Stempelset Little Fireflies aufgestempelt.

Zusätzlich habe ich den Becher und Deckel je einmal aus Acetate gestanzt. Beim vollfächigen Becher habe ich das Oberteil weggeschnitten und in den Deckel eine kleine ovale Öffnung gestanzt. Durch die habe ich einen Strohhalm, gemacht mit einer der Build-a-Drink Stanzen aus schwarzem Cardstock, geschoben. 

Als Deko habe ich das Let's Par-Tea mit StazOn direkt auf den Becher gestempelt. Den kleinen Bubble Tea habe ich mit Copics coloriert, mit Glossy Accents überzogen und als Deko auf den Becher geklebt. Quer darüber kam noch ein Happy Birthday. Alle Stempel sind aus dem Set Year Fifteen.

Unter den Becher habe ich ein schwarzes Oval geklebt. An den Strohhalm habe ich eine Schleife aus cremefarbenem Twine gebunden. Außerdem habe ich zwei weiße Herzen auf den Becherdeckel geklebt. Das war mehr eine Notlösung, denn beim Herauslösen des kleinen Ovals aus dem Deckel habe ich die dünne Verbindung des Deckelrandes versehentlich mit abgerissen - die beiden Herzen halten die Teile wieder zusammen.

 

I used the Coffee Cup Gift Card Holder die by LawnFawn to create my bubble tea. I die cut the  cup once from cream colored cardstock and cut off the top a bit rounded. Then I inked the cardstock with Distress Oxide Tea Dye and Vintage Photo. I also splattered some droplets of water and dark brown ink, mixed with some water, onto the cardstock.

 The bubbles at the bottom of the cup I stamped with Versafine Clair Pinecone and the solid circles from Little Fireflies.

I also cut the cup and lid from acetate and cut off the top of the cup. Into the lid I die cut a small oval. Through that oval I put a paper straw, cut from black cardstock using a die from one of the Build-a-Drink sets.

To decorated my cup I stamped the Let's Par-Tea with black StazOn onto the cup. The small bubble tea I colored with Copics and covered it with Glossy Accents, then adhered it to the cup. Across the cup I put a happy birthday sentiment. All stamps are from Year Fifteen.

I put a black oval under the cup and tied a bow from cream twine to the paper straw. I also added two white clay hearts to the lid. That was more a necessitiy than decoration - when die cutting the oval into the lid I accidently ripped apart the connection of the different lid parts on the right side. The two hearts hold them together.

 

 Den Textstreifen und den Bubble Tea habe ich mit 3D Tape auf den Becher geklebt.

Den kompletten Becher habe ich dann mit einem kleinen Lasche versehen und die durch einen Schlitz im Designpapier gesteckt. So lässt sich der komplette Becher nach unten klappen.

 

I adhered the text strip and the bubble tea to the lid with foam tape.

Then I added a little flap to the bottom back of the cup and put that through a slit in the patterned paper. This way the cup can be folded down.

 

 Klappt man den Becher herunter, kommt dahinter ein weiterer Becher aus hellblauem Cardstock zum Vorschein. In den - und die Papiere dahinter - habe ich mit einer weiteren Stanze aus dem Coffee Cup Gift Card Holder Stanzenset einen Schlitz gestanzt, in den eine Geschenkkarte gesteckt werden kann.

Auf den blauen Becher habe ich zuerst einige Blasen aus dem Set Bubbles of Joy aufgestempelt und darüber Cardstockstreifen mit einem aufgestempelten Text geklebt. Der ist aus Stempeln aus den Sets Bubbles of Joy und Reveal Wheel Spring Sentiments zusammengesetzt.

 

When you fold the cup down there's another cup behind it, this time cut from light blue cardstock. Into that - and also the papers behind it - I cut a slit, using another die from Coffee Cup Gift Card Holder set. Into that you can a gift card.

I first stamped some bubbles from Bubbles of Joy onto the blue cup, then glued some cardstocks strip with a stamped on text over them. The text I put together from stamps from Bubbles of Joy and Reveal Wheel Spring Sentiments.

 

 Die Blasen habe ich mit Stickles beglittert und dann einige weiße Herzen als Deko aufgeklebt.

 

I glittered the bubbles with Stickles and added some white clay hearts as decoration.

 

Eine Graduation Karte

 

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Auch wenn es bei uns hier nicht die klassischen Graduation-Feierlichkeiten gibt, Schulabschlüsse etc. werden natürlich auch bei uns gefeiert. Und momentan ist ja wieder die Zeit dafür. Also zeige ich Euch heute eine Karte, die zwar optisch eher Graduation schreit, aber genau so gut als Abschlusskarte für alle möglichen Schularten verwendet werden kann.

 

Hello everyone!

Here in Germany we don't have the same graduation ceremonies as in the US, but of course kids graduate here, too, and of course that's celebrated. And it's the time again right now. So today I am sharing a card with you, that looks like an american graduation, but can as well be used for graduates of all kinds of school types here.

 

Und weil sie so schön einfach zu machen ist und gleichzeitig so viel Spaß macht, kam hier wieder die Pull'n Slide Surprise Stanze von LawnFawn zum Einsatz. Klar geht die Kartenart auch ohne Stanze, aber sie macht es doch sehr viel schneller und "idiotensicher", vermessen ist unmöglich.

 

And because it's so quickly made and a lot of fun at the same time I used the Pull'n Slide Surprise die by LawnFawn again. Of course you can make a card like that without the die, but it's way faster and fool proof with it, no chance of miss-cutting anything.

 

 Natürlich lässt sich die Karte flach zusammenlegen und lässt sich so auch etwas einfacher fotografieren.

Ich habe für den Hintergrund einn Stück cremefarbenes Designpapier aus dem Let it Shine Starry Skies  Paper Pad verwendet, das gold-folierte Sterne als Muster hat. Aus dem selben Papier, diesmal in hellgrau, habe ich dann den Aufleger für den Mechanismus gestanzt. Ich hatte überlegt, den rot zu hinterlegen, aber ich finde es gerade in aufgestelltem Zustand zu schön, wenn die Muster so toll zusammen passen.

 

Of course the card can be put down flat and is also easier to photograph this way.

For the background I used a piece of cream colored patterned paper from the Let it Shine Starry Skies paper pad, that has gold foiled star constellations as the pattern. From the same paper, this time a light grey, I cut the top of my mechanism. I had thought about matting it red but, especially when the card is put up, I really like the matching patterns on both papers.

 

Zum Dekorieren der Karte kam hauptsächlich das Simply Celebrate Graduation Stempelset zum Einsatz.

Ich habe die Tafel in der Höhe verlängert, um die Karte mehr damit zu füllen. Die Innenfläche habe ich mit Distress Ink Black Soot gewischt und dann die Texte weiß aufembosst. Außerem habe ich die Kante eines weißen Stempelkissens einige Male in verschiedenen Richtungen aufs Papier gedrückt - welche Tafel ist jemals streifenfrei gewischt? Außerdem habe ich um den Text einige rote Sterne aus dem selben Set und unten links in die Ecke ein paar Bücher aus dem Bücherregal aus Cimply Celebrate Hangouts aufgeklebt.

Oben an der Tafel hängt eine Partygirlande, und in Mousetown ist die natürlich mit Käsemuster!  Die kleine Girlande ist aus dem Set TaDa Diorama Scalloped Window Add-On Set. 

To decorate my card I mainly used the Simply Celebrate Graduation stamp set.

I made the chalk board a bit taller to fill the card more. The inside I inked with Distress Ink Black Soot and then white heat embossed the texts onto it. I also lightly pressed the edge of a white pigment ink pad in different directions onto the boar - which chalk board has no white stripes when cleaned? I scattered some red stars from the same set around the text and added a stack of books from the bookshelf from Simply Celebrate Hangouts to the bottom left corner.

Across the board there's a party banner and in Mousetown this has to be made from cheese. The little garland is from TaDa Diorama Scalloped Window Add-On.

 

 Vor der Tafel steht ein Tisch aus Käse, an dem einige Schüler sitzen. Vor dem Tisch steht der Lehrer mit einem weiteren Schüler, der gerade  sein Diplom erhalten hat. Und natürlich ist auch das aus Käse... Das kleine Käsestück ist aus Crazy Antics, die stehenden Mäuse aus Whoosh Kites. Ich habe ihnen Hüte von zwei Mäuse aus dem Simply Celebrate Graduation Stempelset gegeben - und aus dem Set sind auch die Schüler im Hintergrund. Alle Motive auf der Karte sind wie fast immer mit Copics coloriert.

Über den Mäusen habe ich noch einige Sprechblasen aus All The Speech Bubbles gesetzt, in die ich Texte aus dem Sprechblasenset sowie aus Cheesy Christmas Add-On gestempelt habe. 

Als Boden habe ich unten auf den Mechanismus schwarzen Cardstock aufgeklebt.

Und unten, am Übergang des Mechanismus zum Kartenhintergrund, fehlte mir noch etwas. Also habe ich das Banner aus dem Pull'n Slide Surprise Set zweimal aus rotem Cardstock gestanzt und auf eines einen weiteren Text aufembosst. Außerdem habe ich an die Enden jeweils einen Rahmen mit einem goldenen Gelstift aufgemalt. Ich habe bei dem Banner mit dem aufembossten Text die Enden abgeschnitten und, etwas nach unten versetzt, die Enden des zweiten Banner aufgeklebt. So reicht es über den kompletten Mechanismus und darüber hinaus.

 

 In front of the chalk board there's a table made from cheese and some students are sitting behind it. In front of the table there's the teacher and another student, that just got his diploma. And of course that's a piece of cheese...

The little cheese is from Crazy Antics, the standing mice from Whoosh Kites. I gave ghem graduation caps from two of the  mice from Simply Celebrate Graduation - and from this set are also the students in the background. All images on this card are colored with Copics.

Above the mice I added some speech bubbles from All the Speech Bubbles and stamped text from this set and Cheesy Christmas Add-On into them.

As a ground I added black cardstock to the bottom of the mechanism.

And at the bottom, where the mechanism ends, I  needed another element. So I cut the banner from Pull'n Slide Surprise twice from red cardstock and white heat embossed another text onto one of them. I also drew a frame onto the ends of both banners using a gold gel epn. I cut the ends of the banner with the stamped on text off and instead added the ends of the second banner, moving them a bit down. Now it covers the whole meachanism.

 

 Die Tafel ist direkt auf den Mechanismus geklebt, das Banner, die Sprechblasen und den Käsetisch mit den Schülern habe ich mit dünnem, die  beiden stehenden Mäuse mit dickem 3D Tape hinterlegt. 

Und hier sieht man auch den Glanz des auffolierten Musters auf dem Designpapier.

 

The chalk board I glued directly onto the mechanism, the banner, the speech bubbles and the cheese table with the students I adhered with thin, the standing mice with thick foam tape.

And here you can also see the shine of the gold foiled stars on the patterned paper.

 

 Zieht man am Tab oben am Mechanismus, dann stellt sich die Szene auf - und das macht sich natürlich super. Das Designpapier ist nur noch zwischen den Mäusen und der Tafel sichtbar. 

When you pull the tab at the top of the mechanism the scene props up - and of course that's looks amazing when the card is display. The patterned paper is only visible anymore between the board and the mice.

 

 Ich habe den Mechanismus samt Szene mit 3D Tape auf das Designpapier im Hintergrund geklebt. Das muss nicht sein, aber so, finde ich, passt die Geschenkkarte besser darunter. Die wird erst sichtbar, wenn die Szene aufgestellt ist. 

I adhered the mechanism with the scene with foam tape to the patterend paper background. You don't have to, but I think, this way the giftcard fits underneath better. The gift card is only visible once the scene is propped up.

 

 Die Geschenkkarte habe ich mit zwei Glue Dots auf dem Papier befestigt, die lassen sich problemlos und rückstandsfrei entfernen. Und durch das cremefarbene Papier im Hintergrund, das dann sichtbar wird, sieht die Karte auch ohne die Geschenkkarte noch schön aus.

 

I used two Glue Dots to attach the gift card to the paper, those can be removed easily and without leaving any sticky spots left. And due to the cream colored patterned paper, that's visible now, the card still looks nice once the gift card has been removed.

 

2 Gutschein-/Geldgeschenk-Verpackungen

 

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Eine meiner Töchter zieht Ende des Monats um und hat sich um Geburtstags Geld bzw. Möbelhaus-Gutscheine gewünscht. Da ich auch das Geldgeschenk meiner Mutter überreicht habe, habe ich zwei Verpackungen gemacht. Die sind beide mit dem  Box in Scheckkartengröße-Set von Farbton gemacht.

One of my daughters is moving end of the month and for her birthday she asked for money and/or gift cards for a swedish furniture store. I also had to give her the birthday money from my mom so I made two packages to put the money and giftcard into. Both boxes are made using a die set by Farbton.

 

 Die erste Verpackung habe ich aus blauem Cardstock mit Leinen-Muster gestanzt.

In die Box kann man ein Fenster stanzen und einen zurückversetzten Boden einsetzen - den habe ich aus hell-türkis farbenem Cardstock gemacht und außerdem etwas ausgestanztes Gras eingeklebt.

Aus dem Fenster wächst dann eine Pusteblume. Sie ist mit der Make a  Wish Stanze von  Sizzix aus weißem Cardstock gemacht, dann habe ich sie mit Copics coloriert. Als Deko habe ich eine Schleife aus weißem Twine an den Stiel gebunden und außerdem ein kleines weißes Herz auf die Blumenmitte geklebt. 

Im Boxenstanzenset sind außerdem verschiedene Texte, die genau in das Fenster passen, enthalten. Zur Pusteblume fand ich "wünsch Dir was" ganz passend. Der Text ist aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt.

 

The first box I made from blue cardstock with a linnen pattern.

You can die cut a window into the front of the box and put a kind of box behind it - that I cut from light aqua cardstock. I also glued a strip of die cut grass into it. 

There's a dandelion growing out of the window of my box. I made it from white cardstock using the Make a Wish die by Sizzix, then colored it with Copics. I added a bow made from white twine to the stem and also glued a small white clay heart onto the flower head. 

In the box die set there are also several texts, that fit exactly into the window. I liked "make a wish" in combination with the dandelion. The text I cut from white cardstock.

 

 Das Gras im Fenster habe ich mit 3D Tape auf die zurückversetzte Box geklebt und auch die Mitte der Pusteblume ist mit 3D Tape hinterlegt.

 

I glued the grass with foam tape onto the box behind the window and also put tape behind the center of the dandelion.

 

 Die zweite Box habe ich aus altrosa-farbenem Cardstock, ebenfalls mit dem Leinenmuster, gemacht.

Die Box hinter dem Fenster ist diesmal aus hellgrünem Designpapier mit Sternchendruck gemacht. Als Text habe ich mich für  ein "Für Dich" entschieden und ihn jeweils einmal aus schwarzem Cardstock und einmal aus silberfarbenem Spiegelcardstock gestanzt.

Und für die Deko habe ich mich hier für Geburtstagskerzen entschieden. Die sind aus dem Set Lovely Layers Cupcake and More von HoneyBeeStamps und aus grün-weiß gestreiftem Cardstock gestanzt. Die Flammen bestehen wider aus silbernem Spiegelcardstock.

The box behind the window I cut here from light green cardstock with small white stars. And for the text I went with "for you", cutting it once from black cardstock and once from silver mirror     cardstock. 

And as decoration I decided on candles here. Those are made using dies from Lovely Layers Cupcake and More by HoneyBeeStamps and green and white striped cardstock. The flames I cut from silver mirror cardstock.

 

 Die mittlere Kerze habe ich wieder mit einer Schleife aus weißem Twine dekoriert und auf der Box drei kleien weiße Sternchen verteilt.

 

I decorated the candle in the middle with a bow made from white twine again and glued three white clay stars as decoration onto the box.

 

It's Pumpkin Spice Season

Wir sind aus dem Urlaub zurück und ich kann - endlich - meine Schätze aus dem letzten Release von LawnFawn so richtig einweihen. Los geht es mal nicht mit einer Karte, sondern mit einem Gift Card Holder. Dafür gibt es nämlich die tolle Coffee Cup Gift Card Holder Stanzenset... Und weil schließlich fast Herbst ist und ich außerdem Pumpkin Spice liebe, war die Deko für meinen Kaffeebecher schnell klar.

We're back from our vacation and - finally- I can start using all those amazing things from LawnFawn's latest release. I am starting not with a card but with a gift card holder. They have that great Coffee Cup Gift Card Holder die set.... And since it's nearly fall and I also am an "everything pumpkin spice" kind of person the decoration for my cup was pretty clear right from the star.

 

 Ich habe einen Gift Card Holder zum Aufklappen gemacht, die Geschenkkarte versteckt sich im Inneren. So konnte ich auf der Oberseite frei schalten und walten, was meine Deko betrifft.

Den Kaffeebecher habe ich aus leicht cremefarbenem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Distress Oxide Pumice Stone ein klein wenig schattiert.

I made a topfold card style gift card holder, the gift card is on the inside. This way I was able to decorate the front in any way I wanted. 

The coffee cup I die cut from a light cream colored cardstock and lightly shaded it with Distress Oxide Pumice Stone.

Den Kaffeebecher habe ich dann herbstlich mit Kürbissen, Sonnenblumen und einigen Blättern dekoriert. 

Die Kürbisse sind aus dem Set Stitched Pumpkins. Ich habe sie aus zwei verschiedenen Tönen orangefarbenen Cardstocks gestanzt und mit Copics schattiert. Auf diese Weise habe ich fast alle Elemente gestaltet, nur die Eichenblätter, das kleine Ahornblatt und den Zweig mit den Beeren habe ich aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und komplett coloriert. An die Kürbisse habe ich dann noch einige Ranken aus den Sets Stitched Pumpkin Frame und  Pumpkin House angeklebt.

Die kleinen Sonnenblumen sind aus dem Set Sunflower Border, die große und auch die großen grünen Blätter aus dem Set Sunny Sunflower. 

Der kleine Beerenzweig ist aus dem Set Magic Iris Fall Leaves Add-On, die Eichenblätter und das Ahornblatt oben am Deckel aus dem Set Fall Flower Backdrop. 

Das Sleeve für meinen Becher habe ich aus ins lila gehender, dunkelroter Wellpappe gestanzt. Ich fand, die Farbe passt hier super und habe erst dann das Rot-Lila in die Coloration mit eingebaut. Auf den Sleeve habe ich einen "it's Pumpkin Spice season" text aufgeklebt. Dafür habe ich Stempel aus den Sets Reveal Wheel Spring Sentiments (it's), Reveal Wheel Holiday Sentiments (season) sowie dem Set Pumpkin Spice kombiniert und weiß auf dunkelbraunen Cardstock embosst.

I decorated my cup in a fall-ish way with pumpkins, sunflowers and a few leaves.

The pumpkins are from the set Stitched Pumpkins. I die cut them from two different tones of orange cardstock and shaded them with Copics. Except for the oak leaves, the small maple leave and the twig with the berries, I did all pieces from colored cardstock. Only those just mentioned I cut from white cardstock and colored them completly. I glued some swirls from the sets Stitched Pumpkin Frame and Pumpkin House to the pumpkins.

The small sunflowers are made with the Sunflower Border Set, the large one and also the large green leaves with the Sunny Sunflower set.

The small berry branch is from the set Magic Iris Fall Leages Add-On, the oak leaves and the maple leave at the lid are from the Fall Flower Backdrop set.

The sleeve for my cup I die cut from some purplish red corrugated cardstock. I thought, this colors really goes great with the other colors and so I brought a bit of it into my coloring as well. Onto the sleeve I added a "it's pumpkin spice season" text. I combined stamps from the sets Reveal Wheel Spring Sentiments (it's), Reveal Wheel Holiday Sentiments (season) and Pumpkin Spice and white heat embossed them onto dark brown cardstock.

Den Deckel meines Kaffeebechers habe ich aus dunkelbraunem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Distress Ink Black Soot etwas schattiert. Allerdings ist das braun des Cardstocks so dunkel, dass die Schattierung kaum zu sehen ist.

Den Deckel habe ich dann mit einer weiteren kleinen Sonnenblume, einem Eichen- und einem Ahornblatt sowie zwei kleinen Ranken verziert.

I die cut the lid of my cup from dark brown cardstock and shaded it with Distress Ink Black Soot. But the brown of the cardstock is that dark, that the shading is barely visible.

I decorated the lid with another small sunflower, an acorn and a maple leave and two more vines.

Natürlich kam beim Zusammenkleben wieder 3D Tape zum Einsatz. Damit habe ich auch den Deckel befestigt.

Auf die Beeren habe ich etwas Glossy Accents aufgetragen und dann noch gold-violett irisierende Perlen als Deko auf dem Becher verteilt.

Of course I used foam tape again to put my cup together. I also used it to adhere the lid.

The berries I covered with Glossy Accents, then I added some gold-violet iridescent pearls als decoration.

Und so sieht der geöfffnete Gift Card Holder aus. 

Ich habe einen Streifen des cremefarbenen Cardstocks mittig gefalzt und dann mit der Stanze so durch die Big Shot gedreht, dass der Becher nicht komplett gestanzt wird. Aus dem Deckel habe ich dann mit der im Set ebenfalls enthaltenen Schlitz-Stanze die Öffnung für die Geschenkkarte eingestanzt. 

Den  dekorierten kompletten Becher habe ich dann mit dünnem 3D Tape auf die Kartenfront geklebt. Das Tape schafft genug Platz für die Geschenkkarte darunter, gleichzeitig verhindert es, dass die Karte herausrutscht.

And this is the opened gift card holder.

I folded a strip of the cream colored cardstock and then used the cup die to cut the card front, putting the fold a bit under the top edge of the die. From the card front I then cut the slit, using a die that also comes in the set.

The decorated complete cup I adhered with thin foam tape to the card front. The tape creates room for the gift card to slide under but also prevents it from falling out.

Da ich keine Geschenkkarte da hatte, musste meine, schon altbewährte und längst abgelaufene Karte, die ich nur für Fotos aufgehoben habe, wieder mal herhalten. Ich habe sie verkehrtherum eingesteckt. Sie ganz einfach oben aus dem Inneren der Karte gezogen werden.

Since I didn't have a gift card here I had to use my trustworthy, long expired card again, that I only keep for pictures. I put it inside wrong side up. But it can easily be pulled out of the inner top.

Hier sieht man, dass die große Sonnenblume, die bei geschlossener Karte halb sichtbar ist, eigentlich innen angeklebt ist und über den Rand hinausschaut. 

Hier habe ich noch ein Sip Sip Hooray aus dem Tiny Sentiments Coffee Set schwarz und ein Treat Yourself aus dem Set Treat Cart Add-On Coffee mit grüner Tinte aufgestempelt und ein paar weitere Steinchen aufgeklebt.

Here you can see, that the large sunflower, that's half visible when the card is closed, is actually glued on the inside of the card and hangs over the edge.

I stamped a Sip Sip Hooray from the Tiny Sentiments Coffee Set black and a Treat Yourself from the Treat Cart Add-On Coffee set with green ink next to the flower and then added a few more rhinestones.

Pizza!

Heute zeige ich Euch eine Karte mit integriertem Gutschein für eine Pizzeria. Denn manchmal ist eine Pizza mit einer Freundin genau das, was jemand gerade braucht...

Hello everyone!

Today I am sharing a card with integrated giftcards for a pizzeria. Because sometimes a pizza with a friend is exactly what someone in your life needs....

Ich hatte zuerst die Pizzaschachtel gemacht und war dann ein wenig ratlos, was ich als Hintergrund nehmen sollte. Da fiel mir die Swiss Dots Stanze von WhimsyStamps in die Hände - Käse! Na, wenn der nicht zu Pizza passt....

Ich habe die Stanze aus hellgelbem Cardstock gestanzt. Den Rand habe ich leicht mit Distress Oxide Scattered Straw gewischt, dann habe goldene Metallic Watercolor aufgespritzt.

Anschließend habe ich den Käse-Hintergrund mit dunkler gelbem Cardstock hinterlegt. Den habe ich zuvor mit Fossilized Amber gewischt und mit eher rostfarbener Metallic Watercolor bespritzt.

I had made the pizza box first and then was a bit at a loss what to use as my background. Then I came across the Swiss Dots die by WhimsyStamps - cheese! That's perfect to go with a pizza theme.

I die cut the background from light yellow cardstock, then inked the edges lightly with Distress Oxide Scattered Straw and spattered some gold metallic watercolor onto it.

I matted the cheese with some darker yellow cardstock. I inked the edges of those with Fossilized Amber and added spatters of a kind of rust colored metallic watercolor.

 

Die Pizzaschachtel besteht einfach nur aus einem Streifen weißen Cardstocks, den ich gefalzt habe und dabei einen schmalen Rücken eingearbeitet habe. Die Ränder der Pizzabox habe ich mit Hickory Smoke ein wenig abgedunkelt, dann habe ich auf den Deckel je einen schmalen Streifen grün-karierten und rot-karierten Designpapiers geklebt. Zusammen mit dem Weiß der Box ergibt das so die Farben der italienischen Flagge. 

Zwischen die beiden Streifen habe ich dann das Wort Pizza mit schwarzer Tinte aufgestempelt. Dafür habe ich einen Stempel aus dem Pizza my Heart Set von MFT verwendet. Daneben befinden sich zwei kleine rote Herzen, außerdem habe ich einen Rahmen mit einem schwarzen Fineliner aufgemalt.

Hinter der Box habe ich einen Streifen dunkelgrün-weiß karierten Designpapiers, das ich grün gemattet habe, aufgeklebt, darauf kam dann die Pizzabox. Ich habe sie mit dünnem 3D Tape an nur drei Seiten aufgeklebt, so konnte ich unter die rechte Kante die Gutscheine schieben. Die sind nur am PC gedruckt, ich hatte noch keine echten Gutscheine da.... ;)

Unten links neben die Box habe ich noch einen Pizzaschneider gesetzt. Der ist aus schwarzem Cardstock und silbernem Spiegelcardstock einfach aus zwei Kreisen, einem Punkt, einem schmalen Streifen und dem Griff eines Messers von Magnolia zusammengesetzt.

The pizza box I simply made from a strip of cardstock, that I scored, adding a little spine at the top. The edges of the box I inked with Hickory Smoke, then glued a strip of red and white and also one of green and white checked patterned paper. Together with the white of the box they represent the colors of the flag of Italy. 

Between the two strips I stamped the word pizza with black ink, using a stamp from the Pizza my Heart set by MFT. I glued two red hearts next to the word and also used a black fineliner to draw a frame onto the box.

Behind the box I put a strip of darkgreen and white checked paper that I had matted green, then put the pizza box on top. I used thin foam tape only behind three sides of the box, this way I was able to slide the giftcards behind it. By the way, I simply printed some giftcards off of the internet just for the picture since I didn't have any real ones at home yet... ;)

At the bottom left of the pizza box I added a pizza cutter. I put that together from two circles, a dot, a thin strip and a handle, made using a knife die by Magnolia, cut from black cardstock and silver mirror cardstock.

 

Die Pizzabox lässt sich aufklappen - und dort versteckt sich nicht nur der Rest des Textes sondern auch eine Pizza. Denn was ist frustrierender als eine leere Pizzaschachtel?

Der Text im Deckel ist wieder aus dem Set Pizza my Heart und ich denke, er verrät, warum die Freundin gerade etwas Aufmunterung braucht. Ich habe einige kleine rote Herzen als Deko daneben geklebt und mit einem schwarzen Fineliner einen Rahmen aufgemalt. 

The pizza box can be opened up - and that's where I've hidden the rest of the text and also a pizza. There's nothing more frustrating than an empty pizza box!

The text in the lid is again from the Pizza my Heart stamp set and I think, it shows why this friend needs a bit of cheering up right now. I added a few more red hearts here and drew a frame with a black fineliner again.

 

Für die Pizza habe ich Stanzen von Magnolia verwendet. Die Teile habe ich aus farbigem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Copics schattiert, so dass sie realistischer aussieht. Der Rand hat einige dunkle, knusprige Stellen und auch der Käse ist stellenweise schön gebräunt...

To die cut the pizza I used dies by Magnolia. I die cut the pieces from colored cardstock and then added details with Copics to make the pizza look more realistic. The crust has some dark, crispy parts and also the cheese has a yummy golden-brown crust. 

Zum Schluss habe ich noch ein paar goldene Pailetten aufgeklebt und alles auf einem weißen Kartenrohling befestigt.

I added a few gold sequins and then glued everything onto a white card base.
