Eine Karte mit Gutschein

 

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Letzten Monat hatten wir Euch beim Stempeleinmaleins die "selbstschließende Karte" gezeigt. Damals bin ich nicht dazugekommen, ebenfalls eine dieser Karten zu machen, ausprobieren wollte ich sie aber dennoch. Also hole ich das heute mit dieser Karte nach.

Last month we shared a tutorial for a "selfclosing card". I didn't have the time to make one back then but I really wanted to try it. So I'm doing it with today's card.

Hier habe ich grünen Cardstock für die Kartenbasis verwendet. Ich habe alle Teile/Klappen erst mit schwarzem Cardstock beklebt und dann weißen Cardstock daraufgeklebt. Den habe ich zuvor rundum mit Blumen/Flecken im 70er Jahre Look bestempelt, die ich grün coloriert habe. An den inneren Rand habe ich ein paar kleine Punkte gestempelt, für die ich einfach zwei der Punkte aus dem Stempel Schneeflocken Hintergrund ausgeschnitten habe.

Auf eine der der Klappen habe ich den Text Post für Dich mit schwarzer Tinte aufgestempelt. Und weil die anderen drei Teile dann nur mit den Blumen und Punkten im Vergleich zu fad aussahen, habe ich noch drei Pfeile aus dem Stanzenset Tag Groß aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanzt und so aufgeklebt, dass sie auf das Post für dich zeigen.

Here I used green cardstock for my cardbase. I glued black cardstock on all the flaps and then white cardstock on top. Onto the white cardstock I stamped those flowers in a 70ies look all around the edge with black ink and colored them green. To the inner edge of the flowers I added a few black dots.

Onto one of the flaps I stamped a "post for you" text with black ink. And since the other three flaps looked too plain with just the flowers on the edge I've die cut three arrows from black cardstock and glued them on those flaps, letting them point towards the text.

Und so sieht die geöffnete Karte aus - die vier Klappen lassen Platz für Deko während im mittleren großen Teil genug Platz für einen persönlichen Text ist. Wer die Karten aus unserem Tutorial des SEME kennt, dem fällt vielleicht auf, dass bei mir die Klappen von der Größe her ein wenig verändert sind. Ich habe die Breite der seitlichen Klappen geändert, so dass das tolle Motiv darauf passte und gleichzeitig auf der anderen Seite Platz für eine Gutscheinkarte war.

And this is the opened card - the four flaps leave enough room for decorations while there's plenty of room for a personal message in the large middle part of the card. If you've seen the tutorial on Stempeleinmaleins you might realize that my flaps are a bit different in size. I changed the width of the side flaps so the image would fit on one while there's enough room for a giftcard on the other one.

Dieser wunderschöne Stempel ist neu von JM-Creation. Ich fand, grün würde ihr super stehen - also habe ich sie mit Copics coloriert und dabei das Shirt und die Brille jeweils in recht kräftigem Grün coloriert. Die Brillengläser und auch der Mund sind mit Glossy Accents überzogen.

Die Blumen, die ich auch hier jeweils am Rand aufgestempelt habe, kommen ebenfalls mit dem Mädel im Set. Ich habe die Blumen innen auf der Karte mit grüner Tinte gestempelt und nicht coloriert. So wirkt das Motiv besser.

This beautiful image is a new one by JM-Creation. I thought, green would fit her great - so I colored her with my Copics and picked a quite brigth green color combo for her shirt and glasses. The glasses and her mouth are covered with a thick layer of Glossy Accents.

The flowers, that I stamped onto the white cardstock all around the inside as well, come in the same set as the girl. I stamped those with green ink on the inside and left them uncolored so they wouldn't draw too much attention from the image.

Wie schon erwähnt, habe ich auf der anderen seitlichen Klappe eine Gutscheinkarte eingebaut. Dafür habe ich einfach ein weiteres Stück grünen Cardstock als Tasche aufgeklebt. Darauf habe ich ebenfalls ein paar Blumen aufgestempelt und außerdem einen Streifen schwarzen Cardstocks quer über die Tasche geklebt, auf den ich zuvor den Text weiß aufembosst habe. 

Der Stempel Shopping Gutschein ist aus einem weiteren neuen Set, aus dem auch der andere Text auf meiner Karte ist.

As mentnioned above I included a giftcard on the other side flap of the inside of the card. I simply glued a piece of green cardstock down there as a pocket and stamped a few flowers onto it. Then I glued a strip of blac cardstock across it on which I white heat embossed a "shopping giftcard" text.

Hier ist der bereits erwähnte text. Ich habe ihn einfach mit schwarzer Tinte direkt auf den weißen Cardstock gestempelt.

Here's another text I stamped onto the inside of the card with black ink. It means "there's no such thing as too many pair of shoes for a woman, only too little space in the closet". 

Und zu dem Text auf der gegenüberliegenden Klappe passen natürlich perfekt ein Paar High Heels. Die habe ich mit einer der Stanzen aus dem Schuh-Set aus grünem Cardstock gestanzt, die Sohle, den Absatz und das innere des Schuhs schwarz angemalt und dann auch die Schuhe mit Glossy Accents überzogen, damit sie schön glänzen. Dann habe ich sie übereinander auf die Karte geklebt.

And of course the card needed a pair of high heels after that saying on the bottom flap. I've die cut those from green cardstock, used a black marker to color the sole, inside and heel and then covered them with Glossy Accents to give them a nice shine. Then I glued them onto the card on top of each other.

Heute zeige ich Euch eine weitere Karte mit einem neuen Stempel von JM-Creation. Ich habe so viele Karten fertig, dass es diesen Monat eben ein paar mehr werden.

Und hier habe ich mal wieder eine interaktive Karte gemacht. Leider hat das mit dem Video nicht so richtig funktioniert, darum müsst Ihr Euch den Farbwechsel des Chamäleons in einem animierten GIF ansehen. Etwas wackeliger, aber man kann trotzdem gut sehen, dass das Chamäleon alle Farben des Regenbogens "drauf hat".

Today I am sharing another card with a stamp from the new release by JM Creation. I have so many cards ready that this month there will be a few more than usual. 

And her I made an interactive card again. Well, I had problems doing a video and so you have to watch the chameleon changing color with an animated GIF. The color change isn't as smooth as in a video but you can still see that the chameleon can do all color of the rainbow. 

Und damit Euch nicht schwindelig wird von all den Farben, habe ich hier noch ein stehendes Bild - hier mit rosa-rot-orangefarbenem Chamäleon.

Für den Hintergrund habe ich weißen Cardstock mit Distress Ink Bundled Sage, Weathered Wood und Frayed Burlap gewischt. Zuvor habe ich das Chamäelon auf den Carstock gestempelt und mit Masking Tape abgedeckt. Ich habe hier Ink statt Oxides verwendet, da ich nicht wollte, dass die Fliegen rund um das Chamäleon von den Oxides zu sehr verdeckt werden.

Dann habe ich mit einer alten Schablone von Dutch Doobadoo die Blätterranken aufgewischt, diesmal mit Oxide Rustic Wilderness und ein wenig Forest Moss. Die Details sind mit einem weißen Gelpen aufgemalt.

Der Text kommt zusammen mit dem Stempel. Ich habe nur das gestempelte Du vom weiß embossten Text abgeschnitten und durch ein Ausgestanztes ersetzt. Den inneren Teil der Buchstaben habe ich aus Papier mit Regenbogenverlauf gestanzt, die Ränder wieder aus schwarzem Cardstock.

And since I don't want you to get sick from all the color changing I also have a solid picture for you - here with a pink-red-orange colored chameleon.

For the background I inked up a piece of white cardstock with Distress Ink Bundled Sage, Weathered Wood and Frayed Burlap. Before I applied the ink I stamped the chameleon onto the cardstock and covered it with masking tape. And I used Inks instead of Oxides here since I didn't want the flies, that are around the chameleon, get too much covered up by the Oxides.

For the vines I used an old stencil by Dutch Doobadoo and Distress Oxide Rustic Wilderness and a bit of Forest Moss. The details are made with a white gel pen.

The text means "no one is like you". It's white heat embossed onto black cardstock and I replaced the stamped you with a die cut one. I've cut the solid letters from a patterened paper with a rainbow look and the outlines from black cardstock.

Vom Chamäleon habe ich dann die Maskierung abgenommen und aus dem Hintergrund das Chamäleon ausgeschnitten. Dann habe ich es erneut mit StazOn auf Folie gestempelt und hinter den Ausschnitt geklebt. Das Auge und die beiden Bereiche am Ast/Körper habe ich auf die Folie aufgeklebt, so dass das Motiv stimmig ist. 

Die schwarzen Punkte auf dem Körper des Chamäleons habe ich, ebenso wie die Fliegen, mit Glaze Pens gemacht. 

Den Ast und die Blätter habe ich mit Copics coloriert.

Hinter dem Chamäleon versteckt sich eine Slider Card. Ich habe einen Streifen Kopierpapier mit Distress Oxide Picked Raspberry, Candied Apple, Spiced Marmelade, Squeezed Lemonade, Mowed Lawn, Salty Ocean und Wilted Violet - das man aber nicht sieht, da es nicht bis zum Chamäleon hinauffährt - in Regenbogenverlauf gewischt und auf Vorder- und Rückseite mit Folie überzogen, so dass es gut gleitet. 

Auf den sichtbaren Teil des Ziehtabs habe ich noch ein "bitte ziehen" aufgestempelt - und tut man das, ändert das Chamäleon seine Farbe. 

I took off the masking off the chameleon and cut it out of the colored background. Then I stamped it onto a piece of acetate using StazOn and glued it behind the cut out chameleon shape in the background. I've cut out the eyes and the two areas with the branch/close to the body so the image looks right.

The dots on the chameleon and the flies are covered with Glaze Pens.

I colored the branch and leaves with Copics.

Behind the chameleon I've hidden a slider card. I colored a strip of copy paper in rainbow colors with Distress Oxide Picked Raspberry, Candied Apple, Spiced Marmelade, Squeezed Lemonade, Mowed Lawn, Salty Ocean and Wilted Violet - which you can't see since the strip doesn't move up far enough - and covered the back and top of this copy paper strip with a self adhesive transparend foil to make it slide easy enough.

Onto the visible part of the pull tab I've stamped a "please pull" - and when you do so the chameleon changes its color.

 

Ein ganzer Sack voll Mäuse

Unter den Juli-Neuheiten von JM-Creation befindet sich ein Nikolaussack - inklusive passender "Gruß vom Nikolaus" Textstanze. Nun bin ich ehrlich - nachdem der Sommer noch nicht mal richtig angefangen hat, bin ich für Weihnachten noch so überhaupt nicht bereit. Also habe ich den Sack kurzerhand zweckentfremdet und damit eine Verpackung für ein Geldgeschenk gewerkelt.

Among the stamps and dies from JM-Creation's july release there's a sack die - including a "greetings from St. Nick" die. Well, I want to be honest - summer hasn't really started yet so I'm not in the mood or ready for christmas. So I simply changed the sack a bit and turned it into a giftbox to put in some money.

 

 Ich habe die Sack-Stanze mit der neu überarbeiteten Universalschachtel kombiniert. So konnte ich eine oben geöffnete Schachtel fertigen und den seitlichen Rand der Schachtel ganz einfach an die Rundung des Sackes anpassen.

Den Sack und die Schachtel habe ich aus kraftbraunem Cardstock gestanzt, die Ränder habe ich mit Distress Ink Vintage Photo gewischt.

Oben aus dem Sack schaut eine der lustigen Mäuse.

I combined the sack die with the newly release universal box die. Combining these two made it easy to create a box that's open at the top but also make the sides fit the shape of the sack.

I've die cut the sack and the box from craft colored cardstock and inked up the edges with Distress Ink Vintage Photo.

Out of the top of the sack a little mouse is peeking out.

Die Schnüre und Flicken kommen zusammen mit der Sackstanze. Ich habe den Flicken zweimal aus unterschiedlichen Brauntönen gestanzt, aufeinander auf den Sack geklebt und mit einem weißen Gelstift ein paar Stiche aufgemalt. Oben an die Schnüre habe ich noch eine Schleife, gestanzt mit dem ebenfalls neuen Büttenrand Bordüren und Wimpel, aufgeklebt.

Für den Text habe ich den Text aus dem Stempelset Froschkönig auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt, das Kröten herausgeschnitten und durch ein gestanztes Mäuse ersetzt. Dafür habe ich das ABC 1 Stanzenset benutzt und die Buchstaben einmal aus weißem und einmal aus dunkelbraunem Cardstock gestanzt. Dann habe ich die Buchstaben jeweils  leicht versetzt aufeinander und dann auf den Sack geklebt.

Oben aus dem Sack schaut ja bereits eine Maus heraus - und im unteren Teil hat sich eine weitere durch den Sack gebissen. Ich habe einfach einen Schlitz in den Sack geschnitten, den Cardstock am unteren Rand etwas nach unten gebogen und den Kopf einer weiteren der lustigen Mäuse durch den Schlitz gesteckt.

The strings and patches come in the set with the sack die. I've die cut the patches once from light and once from dark brown cardstock, glued them a bit overlapping onto the sack and added a few stitches with a white gel pen. To the strings I've added a little die cut bow.

The text means "a few mice for you" - mice is another name for money here in Germany. I've stamped part of the text onto white cardstock, cut it into two parts and replaced the word mice with a few die cut letters. Those were cut from white and dark brown cardstock, glued on top of each other just a bit off and then glued onto the sack between the two stamped parts of the text.

There's already a little mouse peeking out from the top of the sack - another one has bitten her way through the sack. I've simply cut a slit into the sack, curled the cardstock under the slit a bit downwards and then put the head of another mouse through the slit.

Endlich Urlaub!

Eine meiner Töchter hat sich einen kleinen schnuckeligen Wohnwagen gekauft - und das hat mich zu dieser Karte inspiriert. Und ich hoffe, das mit "endlich Urlaub" wird auch bald wahr...

One of my daughters bought herself a small and cozy trailer - and that's what insprired me to make this card. And I really hope we'll all be able to use it anytime soon...

Hier habe ich mit der zweitgrößten der Stitched Kreise einen Kreis aus einem Stück weißen Cardstocks gestanzt. Das wurde der Aufleger für meine Karte. Durch den gestitchten Rand auch außen um den Kreis, den diese Stanzen machen, wirkt der Ausschnitt nicht so fad und ich habe auf weitere Deko auf dem weißen Cardstock verzichtet.

Nach dem Gestalten der Szene innerhalb des Ausschnitts, die ich auf schwarzen Carstock geklebt habe, habe ich den weißen Cardstock mit aufgedoppeltem 3D Tape darübergeklebt und dann alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling gesetzt.

Here I used a stitched circle die to cut a circle from a piece of white cardstock. That became the top layer of my card. Since the die also makes a stitched circle outside of the circle the cut out didn't look too plain and so I didn't add any other decorations here.

After creating the scene behind the cut out, that I've glued onto a piece of black cardstock, I put the white topper onto the black cardstock using two layers of dimensionals, then glued everything onto a white note card.

Die Szene innerhalb des kreisförmigen Ausschnitts ist einfach direkt aufeinander geklebt.

Ganz hinten befindet sich ein Stück hellblauen Cardstocks, auf das ich mit Distress Oxide Antique Linen, Scattered Straw und Wild Honey Sonnenstrahlen aufgewischt habe. Außerdem habe ich den blauen Bereich, von dem die Strahlen ausgehen, noch mit Distress Ink Tumbled Glass ein wenig dunkler eingefärbt.

Darauf befindet sich das Meer, gemacht aus zwei Lagen Cardstock, den ich mich der Wellenstanze ausgestanzt habe.

Wiederum davor ist der Strand. Dafür habe ich mit zwei der Bordürenstanzen aus dem neuen Stanzenset Büttenrand, Bordüren und Wimpel, hell- und dunkel kraftbraunen Cardstock ausgestanzt und für die Sandoptik etwas Distress Ink Vintage Photo sowie weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt. 

Zwischen den beiden Lagen Sand/Strand steht der süße Wohnwagen. Der ist aus dem Stempelset Gute Reise. Ich habe ihn mit Copics coloriert und per Hand ausgeschnitten.

Da ich den weißen Cardstock mit aufgedoppeltem 3D Tape auf den schwarzen Cardstock geklebt habe, konnte ich zwischen den beiden Lagen Tape noch das Partybanner fassen, so dass es von der Höhe her mittig auf der Karte schwebt. Auch dafür habe ich Stanzen aus dem Set Büttenrand, Bordüren und Wimpel benutzt.

Zum Schluss kam noch ein Text sowie der Grill auf die Karte. Der Grill ist aus dem Stempelset Grillmeister. Ich weiß, die Bratwürste brauchen noch ein wenig. Aber so haben sie am besten in mein Farbkonzept gepasst. Der Text ist wieder aus dem Stempelset Gute Reise und weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst. Alle Teile außerhalb der Karte habe ich mit dünnem 3D Tape aufgeklebt.

All layers of the scene inside the circle cut out are glued directly on top of each other. 

In the background I used a piece of light blue cardstock and added some sun rays using a stencil and Distress Oxide Antique Linen, Scattered Straw and Wild Honey. I also inked up the blue cardstock in the area where the rays radiate from with some Distress Ink Tumbled Glass to make it a tad bit darker there.

On top I created the ocean. I've glued down two layers of cardstock that I first die cut into a wave shape using a wave border die.

Again on top of that there's the beach. I used two border dies that create some kind of hills to die cut the edges of a light and dark craft colored cardstock. To make it look like sand I spritzed some Distress Ink Vintage Photo and white acrylic paint over those piedes.

Between the two layers of sand I put the trailer. It's colored with Copics.

Since I glued down the white top layer with two layers of dimensionals I was able to put a banner between those two layers. Now it is in the middle of the card regarding the height.

In the end I added a text and a grill. The text means "finally in vacation" and is white heat embossed onto black cardstock. The cardstock strips with the text and the grill are glued onto the top layer with some thin dimensionals.

Ein Sommernachtstraum

Die Sommersonnwende naht, Gartenparties sind endlich wieder möglich - jetzt müsste nur der Sommer noch ein wenig zulegen. Aber für einen Sommernachtstraum reicht es allemal. Und dieses Thema habe ich heute auf dieser Karte verarbeitet.

 

Hello everyone!

Summer solistice will be here soon, we're finally allowed to have BBQs in the garden again - now the only thing that needs to speed up a bit is summer itself. But it's still enough for a summer night's dream. And this is the theme that I used for today's card.

 

Ich habe hier ein Stück schwarzen Cardstock ein wenig kleiner als meine Slimeline Karte zugeschnitten und mit silberner Metallic-Wasserfarbe ein paar Sterne aufgespritzt.

Dann habe ich den Rahmen aus dem Stanzenset DinLang 3er Quadrate aus hellgrauem Cardstock gestanzt und als Rahmen auf den schwarzen Cardstock geklebt.

 

Here I've cut a piece of black cardstock slightly smaller than my slimline card base and spritzed some silver metallic watercolor over it as stars.

Then I've die cut a inside scalloped slimline frame from light grey cardstock and glued it on top of the black cardstock.

 

 Für den Text habe ich das Wort Sommer aus dem Stanzenset Jahreszeiten aus weißem und aus hellgrauem Cardstock gestanzt und leicht versetzt übereinander geklebt. Dann habe ich den Text durch ein aus einzelnen Buchstaben zusammengesetztes -nachtstraum ergänt. Dafür habe ich die Buchstaben mit dem Stanzenset ABC mit Rand gestanzt - die äußeren Linien aus grauem Cardstock, die Innenteile der Buchstaben aus gelb, weiß und grau gestreiftem Designpapier. 

Unter das lange Wort, das gerade so quer über die Slimline Card gepasst hat, habev ich noch ein "grillen und chillen" aus dem Stempelset Grillmeister geklebt.

Die Sterne sind aus dem neuen Stanzenset Büttenrand Bordüren und Wimpel.

For the text I've die cut the word summer once from white and once from grey cardstock and glued them on top of each other a bit off to have a white shadow under the grey word. Then I finished the word with a die cut "night's dream". I've die cut the outlines of the cardstock from grey cardstock and the inner parts from a grey, yellow and white striped patterned paper. 

Under this long word, that just fit across the slimline card, I glued a stamped "grill and chill".

For decorations I added a few die cut stars.

Passend zur Sommernachtstraum-Gartenparty habe ich oben über die Karte die neue Lichterkette aus dem gleichnamigen Stanzenset aufgehängt. 

Das Kabel sowie die Oberteile der Lichterkette sind aus metallic-silbernem Cardstock gestanzt, die Lämpchen aus gelbem Cardstock. Ich bin nicht so der Typ, der auf bunte Lichterketten steht, deshalb habe ich mich nur für gelb entschieden. Die Lämpchen habe ich dick mit Glossy Accents überzogen. Unter den Lämpchen habe ich jeweils schimmrige Kreide aufgetragen, die als Schein der Lämpchen dienen.

Und zwischen die Lämpchen habe ich noch kleine dreieckige Wimple aus dem Stanzenset Büttenrand Bordüren und Wimpel aufgehängt, die ich wieder aus dem gelb, weiß und grau gestreiften Designpapier gestanzt habe. 

Matching the summer garden party theme I've hung up some party lights across the top of the card.

The string and the top of the lights are die cut from silver metallic cardstock, the lights from yellow cardstock. I don't like those string of lights with lots of different colors so I decided to only cut yellow lights. They are covered with a thick layer of Glossy Accents. Under the lights I've added some shimmery chalk as a halo of the lights.

And between the lights I've hung up some triangle shaped banners that I've cut from the yellow, white and grey patterned paper again.

Ja ist denn schon Halloween?

Halloween? Nein, zum Glück noch nicht. Das würde ja bedeuten, dass der Sommer vorbei wäre, bevor er richtig angefangen hat! Aber basteltechnisch sind wir unserer Zeit ja gerne ein wenig voraus. Und da es im Juni-Release von JM-Creation auch Halloween-Stanzen gibt, poste ich heute eben mal ein Halloweenprojekt im Juni.

Is it Halloween already? Well, no, luckily not. That would mean summer is over before it really started! But we crafters are always a little ahead of time. And since there are some Halloween dies included in the june release by JM-Creation I'm sharing a Halloween project in june.

Hier habe ich eine kleine Box gestaltet. Für die Box an sich habe ich die neu überarbeitete Universalschachtel verwendet. Eigentlich hat sie auf jeder Seite drei Quadrate, die man dann super praktisch auch an Rundungen anpassen kann. Ich habe einfach zwei der Quadrate weggeschnitten und so eine längliche, aber recht niedrige Box erhalten. Perfekt in der Größe für die beiden Lutscher mit den gruseligen Stielen. Ich bunker mir genau für solche Momente immer ein oder zwei Süßigkeiten zu jeder Feierlichkeit. ;)

Here I made a little box. I used the re-done universal box die here, its design was changed a bit to make it even more versatile. It has one loner are with three squares on both sides so you can also make it fit a rounded shape. I simply cut off two of the squares and now ended up with a long but low box. It was perfect in size for the two suckers with the creepy sticks. For crafty projects like this - out of their time - I always keep a few candies for each festivity. ;)

Die Boo-Stanze und die Spinne sind jeweils aus dem Juni-Release. Ich habe das Boo einmal aus scharzem Cardstock, einmal aus orangefarbenem foliertem Cardstock gestanzt und leicht versetzt aufeinander geklebt. An das hintere O habe ich dann die Spinne geklebt. Die ist aus schwarzem Glitzercardstock gestanzt und die Augen habe ich durch kleine Wackelaugen ersetzt.

Dann habe ich das Wort an einen der Lutscherstiele geklebt, so dass eine der Gruselhände das Wort in der Hand hält. 

Die beiden Lutscher habe ich in die Box gesteckt und mit rotem "Frizzelpapier" drumherum fixiert, so dass sie nicht umfallen. 

The Boo die and the spider are from the june release. I've die cut the word once from black cardstock and once from a orange foiled cardstock and then stacked them just a bit of to end up with a black shadow behind the orange word. To the second O I've glued the little spider. It's die cut from black and silver glitter cardstock and glued two small googly eyes onto the cut out eyes.

Then I glued the word to one of the hands so it looks like the hand is holding it up.

I've put both suckers into the box and put seom red "frizzy paper strips" around them to keep them in their positions.

Vorne auf der Box habe ich eine Grabszene gesetzt - es sollte so aussehen, als kämen die Hände aus einem Grab. 

Direkt auf die Box, für deren Seitenteile ich einfach zwei Rechtecke zugeschnitten habe, habe ich den Gartenzaun, gestanzt aus braunem Cardstock, geklebt. Den hatte ich noch vom Projekt von letzter Woche auf dem Tisch, denn ich war mir erst nicht sicher, welche Zaunfarbe ich dort verwenden wollte. Also habe ich den übrig gebliebenen hier verarbeitet. Ich gebe zu, viel sieht man von ihm nicht.

Vor den Zaun habe ich einen Grabstein gesetzt. Dafür habe ich den zweitkleinsten der Tags 2a aus grauem Cardstock gestanzt. Durch den gestrichelten Rand hat der Tag schon fast ein wenig was von Grabstein. Ich habe die Fledermaus und den Text aus dem Happy Halloween Stempelset auf den Grabstein gestempelt und mit einem schwarzen Fineliner ein paar Risse aufgemalt. Dann habe ich ihn etwas schief auf den Zaun geklebt und schon sieht er aus, als wäre er nie ein Tag gewesen. Hinter den Grabstein habe ich noch das Spinnennetz, das im Set mit der süßen Spinne kommt, aufgeklebt.

Den Kürbis habe ich wieder aus dem orangefarbenen Foliencardstock gestanzt und das Gesicht aus dem Kürbis herausgestanzt. Diese Stanze kommt extra, so dass man auch einen "normalen" Kürbis ohne Gesicht mit dem Set stanzen kann. Das Gesicht habe ich schwarz hinterklebt. Für den Stiel  habe ich grünen Foliencardstock verwendet. Aus dem ist auch die Graslinie, die ich mit einer der Gras Slimline Stanzen gemacht habe.

Ganz zum Schluss habe ich vorne noch die schwarze Katze, ebenfalls aus dem Happy Halloween Stempelset, aufgeklebt. Irgendwie war da so ein leerer Fleck und die Katze wollte auch unbedingt mit auf die Box.

On the front of the box I created a grave scene - I wanted it to look like the hands are coming out of a fresh grave.

Directly onto the box, for which I simply cut two rectangles as the front and back, I glued a fence, die cut from brown cardstock. I had this left over from last week's project because I die cut two of them from different cardstocks, not sure at first which color I wanted to use. So I used the left over one here. I admit, you don't see too much of it. 

Onto the fence I glued a gravestone. I stimply used a tag die for it and cut it from grey cardstock. With the stitched lines it already has a little gravestone look. I stamped the bat and text onto it and added a few cracks with a black fineliner. Then I glued it onto the fence a little croocked and I think you really couldn't tell at first look that this was made from a tag. Behind the gravestone I glued the spiderweb that comes in one set with the cute spider. 

The pumpkin is again die cut from the orange foiled cardstock and die cut the face out of it. The face comes as an extra die so you can also create a regular pumpkin with this set. I glued some black cardstock behind the face cut outs. For the stem I used green foiled cardstock. And I used the same to cut the grass with a grass slimline die. 

In the end I also added a black cat to my box. There was this plain spot - and the cat begged me to let her join the fun.

Mach mal Pause - das hat sich der Fuchs hier wohl gedacht. Oder sich den Ratschlag eines Freundes zu Herzen genommen. Und so liegt er nun in der Wiese und chillt.

Take a break - that's what the little fox might have thought. Or he got that as a good advice from a friend and is now lying in the grass and doing exactly that.

Für den Hintergrund habe ich einen eins Stücks weißen Cardstocks mit Distress Oxide Rustic Wilderness und Speckled Egg gewischt und noch ein paar türkisfarbene Spritzer mit Schimmerwasserfarbe darüber verteilt. Im oberen Bereich habe ich die Farbe auslaufen lassen, unten hatte ich einen Streifen des weißen Cardstocks abgedeckt. Die harte Kante deckt das Gras ab. 

Den weißen Cardstock habe ich schwarz gemattet und auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

For the background I've inked up a part of a piece of white cardstock with Distress Oxide Rustic Wilderness and Speckled Egg and then spritzed some turquoise metallic watercolor over it. In the top area I just let the ink fade into the white cardstock, the lower area of the card was covered with a piece of masking tape while inking up the cardstock. The hard edge gets covered by the grass.

I matted the background with black cardstock and glued it onto a white note card.

Für die Deko kamen auch zwei der neuen Produkte aus dem Juni-Release zum Einsatz: die tollen Pilze und der süße schlafende Fuchs. 

Der Fuchs ist mit Copics coloriert und anschließend ausgeschnitten. Die Pilze habe ich aus rotem und grauem Cardstock (Stiele) gestanzt und mit Copics ein wenig schattiert. Dann habe ich die weißen Punkte aus den roten Pilzhüten ausgestanzt und einen kompletten weiteren Pilzhut, diesmal gestanzt aus weißem Cardstock, von hinten gegen den roten Hut geklebt. 

Für das Gras habe ich eine der Slimline Gras-Stanzenbenutzt und ganz schmal zugeschnitten. 

Der Zaun ist wieder aus grauem Cardstock - deswegen musste ich die Pilzstiele auch schattieren, da ich hierfür denselben Grauton benutzt hatte. 

Und oben am Himmel sind zwei kleine Wölkchen unterwegs. 

Das Wort Chillen ist aus dem Grillmeister Stempelset. Ich habe das "und Grillen" nicht mit abgestempelt und das Chillen weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst. Dann habe ich es auf den Zaun aufgeklebt. 

Der Text unter dem Fuchs ist aus einer Kombi aus Stempel und Stanze gemacht. Das "mach' mal" ist aus dem Stempelset Mach Mal Pause. Ich habe den Text erst auf die Karte gestempelt, dann den Fuchs passend dazu aufgelegt und den Strich des L auch auf den Schwanz des Fuchses aufgestempelt. So sieht man keine Linie am Übergang zwischen dem auf die Karte gestempelten Text und dem auf dem aufgeklebten Fuchs. Passiert bei so kleinen Höhenunterschieden ja doch mal gerne.

Für das Pause habe ich das Stanzenset ABC1 benutzt und die Buchstaben aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanzt. Dann habe ich sie einfach neben den gestempelten Text aufgeklebt.

Zum Schluss habe ich noch ein paar antrazith-farbene Enamel Accents als Deko auf der Karte verteilt.

For the scene on my card I used two of the new things from the june release: the great mushrooms and the cute sleeping fox.

I colored the fox with Copics and then cut him out. The mushrooms are die cut from red and grey cardstock, then I added some shading with my Copics. Then I die cut the white dots from the mushrooms and glued some white cardstock behind them. 

For the grass I used one of JM-Creaition's grass slimline dies and cut it to end up with a very fine strip. The fence is also die cut from grey cardstock - that's also why I shaded the mushrooms. I had used the same tone of grey to cut the foots. 

In the sky there are two fluffy clouds. 

The word chill is white heat embossed onto a piece of black cardstock, then glued onto the fence.

The text under the fox means "take a break" and is made from a combination of stamps and dies. I first stamped the first part of the saying directly onto the card, then stamped the parts that overlap with the fox again directly onto the fox. That way I didn't get any white lines like they tend to happen when you stamp onto an area with two different heights. 

For the word break I die cut the letters from black cardstock and glued them next to the stamped text.

In the end I also added a few antrazit colored Enamel Accents as embellishments.

Achtung, es wird bunt!

Wie schön angekündigt - heute wird es bunt. Wie viele hatten auch wir im Frühling eine dieser Pflanzschalen mit Primeln, Narzissen und anderen Frühlingsblühern auf dem Terrassentisch. Da blühte eine cremefarbene Primel neben dunkelpinken Bellis und ich dachte mir, die Farbkombi wäre doch mal was für eine Karte. So hier geschehen. Und ich gestehe - ich bin mir immer noch nicht sicher, ob mir das ganze nicht doch viel zu knallig ist.... Aber entscheidet selbst.

Caution, it's getting colorful today. Like many we had a pot filled with spring flowers on our back porch table. And there was a cream colored primrose blooming next to some dark pink bellis - and I though that would make a nice color combo for a card. So that's why I used these colors on this card - and I'm still not sure if it's way too bright for my taste. But decide for yourself. 

Hier habe ich dunkelpinken Cardstock für den Hintergrund benutzt. 

Mit weißem Embossingpulver habe ich ein paar zarte Blümchen eher mittig auf den Cardstock aufembosst. 

Here I used some dark pink cardstock for the background.

With white embossing powder I added a few small flowers towards the center of the cardstock.

In die Mitte der Karte habe ich einen Text aufgeklebt.

Der Stempel ist der neue "Blumen sind das..." Stempel von JM-Creation. Ich habe ihn mit schwarzer Tinte auf rosafarbenen Cardstock gestempelt. Dabei habe ich ihn so gestempelt, dass er nur einzeilig ist - und den Autor des Textes habe ich ebenfalls unterschlagen *hüstel*. Außerdem habe ich das Wort Blumen durch ein Blumen aus gestanzten Buchstaben ersetzt. Dafür habe ich wieder das tolle Alphabet mit dem Rahmen benutzt. Die Buchstaben sind aus hellgelbem Designpapier mit weißen Blümchen gestanzt, für die Rahmen habe ich ein kräftigeres Gelb-Orange benutzt.

In the center of the card I added a saying.

It means "flowers are nature's smile". I replaced the word flowers in the stamp with a die cut one, using the great alphabet die set with the frames again. I've die cut the letters from light yellow patterned paper with white flowers printed on it and a darker orange-ish yellow for the frames.

Für den Blumenrahmen habe ich ann die Blüte Filigran Stanze benutzt. Das Set besteht aus einer gefüllten Blumen und einer bestehend aus Outlines. Ich habe cremefarbenen Cardstok für die gefüllten Blumen, hellgelben für die Outlines benutzt und in die Mitte jeder Blume zwischen die beiden Lagen jweils noch einen kleinen Kreis des orange-gelben Cardstocks gesetzt.

Auf dem Bild ist es schlecht zu erkennen, aber auf die gefüllten Blumen habe ich noch ein paar Streifen mit einem weißen Gelstift gemalt.

Dann habe ich die Blumen aus dem Stanzenset Tags Groß aus rosafarbenem Cardstock gestanzt und hinter die großen gelben Blumen geklebt. Und zum Schluss habe ich noch den Zwei aus dem Stanzenset Zweig mit Blüten, gestanzt aus Vellum, zwischen die Blüten gesetzt. 

For the flowery frame I used the new floweer die set. It cuts a solid flower and one made from just some lines. I used cream colored cardstock for the solid flowers, light yellow for the outlines and put a circle die cut from the orange-ish yellow cardstock inbetween the layers.

It's hard to see on the picture but I've also drawn a few lines onto the petals using a white gel pen. 

Then I put some small flowers, cut from pink cardstock, behind the large flowers and also a few branches, die cut from Vellum, inbetween them. 

Nochmal ein Geldgeschenk

Heute möchte ich Euch eine weitere Idee für ein Geldgeschenk zeigen - diesmal wieder in niedlich und für alle Alterklassen geeignet.

Today I want to share with you another idea to wrap up some money - this time it's a cute design again and so perfect for all ages.

Als Basis meiner Box habe ich die Mini-Dose rund von JM-Creation verwendet. Ich habe die Teile aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und dann mit dem Mauerstempel in grau bestempelt. Den kann man prima zusammensetzen, so dass sich eine zwar nicht regelmäßig gemauerte, aber immerhin komplette Mauer ergibt. Damit der Kontrast nicht zu krass ist, habe ich nach dem Stempeln noch Distress Oxide Pumice Stone und Hickory Smoke ganz leicht auf den weißen Cardstock gewischt.

Um den unteren Rand der Box habe ich das große Grasbüschel mit grüner Tinte aufgestempelt und es ebenfalls einfach leicht überlappend aneinander gesetzt.

Auf die Box habe ich dann noch den "ein paar Kröten nur für dich" Text aufgeklebt. Der ist auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt und mit 3D Tape aufgeklebt. Er geht etwas mehr als halb um die Box herum.

As the base I used the round box die by JM Creation. I've die cut the pieces from white cardstock and then used a brick wall stamp to add the pattern. I stamped it with grey ink  - and then lightly added Distress Oxide Pumice Stone and Hickory Smoke so the contrast between the white and grey isn't too hard.

To the bottom edge of the cardstock I stamped some grass with green ink.

Around  the bottom of the box I added a text that means "some money for you" - but here isn't used the word money but "toads" which is a german word for money. And please, don't ask me why! But that also explains the image and overall design of my box to all you non-germans. I stamped the text onto a strip of white cardstock and wrapped it around the bottom of the box - it goes a little more than half around the box.

Aus dem Deckel habe ich einen kleineren Kreis ausgstanzt und von innen einen Kreis aus schwarzem Cardstock dagegen geklebt. Und so wird aus meiner runden Box ein Brunnen. Und auf dem trohnt natürlich der Froschkönig! Die Steinlinien oben auf dem Deckel habe ich frei Hand mit einem grauen Fineliner gemalt und den Ring dann ebenfalls mit Distress Oxide gewischt.

Der Froschkönig ist mit Copics coloriert, ausgeschnitten und auf den Deckel der Box geklebt. Damit er schön aufrecht steht, habe ich hinten einen Streifen Cardstock gegen den Frosch geklebt, den ich unten gefaltet und auf dem Deckel der Box angeklebt habe. So fällt der arme Kerl nicht um.

I've die cut a smaller circle from the lid and put a circle cut from black cardstock behind it. And so my round box turns into a well. And of course the Frog King is sitting on top of it! I used a grey fineliner to freehand draw the stone lines onto the ring on top of the lid, then inked up that with Distress Oxides as well. 

The Frog King is colored with Copics, cut out and glued onto the lid. I used a strip of cardstock that I glued to the back of the frog, folded it at the bottom and glued the other end onto the lid. That way the frog can't fall on his face or back.

Und so sieht der Brunnen mit abgenommenem Deckel aus. In die Box kommen natürlich die angekündigten Kröten, aber was in diesem Fall auf keinen Fall fehlen darf ist die goldene Kugel, die der Frosckönig dann herauftauchen kann. Die werde ich auf jeden Fall mit hineinfüllen, aber aufs Foto darf sie aus bekannten Gründen nicht.

And this is the well with the lid taken off. I will put some money inside the box. But what really needs to get in it as well is the golden ball that the frog king can bring up from the bottom of the well. I will definately put one into it but had to remove it for the picture. The reason why I did explain to you in a post beginning of the month - it's the same chocolat company. 

Kleine Pause

Eine kleine Pause brauchen wir alle mal - und die habe ich heute auf dieser Karte thematisch verbastelt.

We all need a little break every now and then - and this is what I used as the theme for today's card.

Hier habe ich ein Stück schwarzen Cardstock als Hintergrund benutzt und ihn auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

Here I used a piece of black cardstock as the background and glued it onto a white note card.

Für das türkisfarbene Panel mit den schwarzen Punkten habe ich die Lochwand aus dem Werkzeug-Stanzenset zweckentfremdet. Sie ist aus türkisfarbenem Cardstock gestanzt und einfach auf den schwarzen Hintergrund geklebt, den man durch die Löcher durchsehen kann.

Hauptelement auf meiner Karte sind der Kaffeebecher - der hier zum Teebecher mutiert - und die Teekanne. Die Teekanne ist aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Copics coloriert, auch der Kaffeebecher ist mit Copics schattiert. 

Ans untere Ende der Lcohwand habe ich ein halbes Doily aufgeklebt, auf das ich oben dann den Becher und die Kanne aufgeklebt habe. 

Quer über das Doily habe ich dann das Wort Pause geklebt und dafür das tolle neue Aphabetset benutzt. Das ist absolut klasse, denn es stanzt die Buchstaben und zusätzlich einen Rahmen dazu. Ich habe die Buchstabenselbst aus braunem, die Außenlinien aus türkisfarbenem Cardstock gestanzt und mit einem weißen Gelpen Highlights gesetzt. 

Um den Text zu vervollständigen, habe ich noch ein "kleine" weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst, mit brauner Wellpappe gemattet und auf die Karte aufgeklebt.

Ganz zum Schluss habe ich noch ein paar weiße Enamel Accents auf der Karte verteilt und mit dem weißen Gelpen einen Rahmen auf den schwarzen Cardstock aufgemalt.

For the turquoise piece in the background I simply used a pegboard die. It's die cut from turquoise cardstock and glued onto the black background - through the holes you can see the black cardstock from under it.

Main element on my card are the coffee cup - that turned into a tea cup here - and the tea pot. I've die cut the tea pot from white cardstock and colored it with Copics.  Also the coffee cup is shaded with Copics.

To the lower end of the pegboard I've glued half a doily and then the cup and pot on top.

Across the doily I added a die cut "break" and used a great new alphabet die set for it. It cuts the letters and also a small frame around each. I used brown cardstock for the letters, turquoise for the frames and added some highlights with a white gel pen.

To finish the text I white heat embossed a "have a" onto black cardstock, matted it with brown corrugated paper and glued it onto the card.

In the end I added a few white Enamel Accents and drew a frame onto the black background cardstock with the white gel pen.

Ein Bargeld-Geschenk in elegant

Heute zeige ich Euch eine Verpackung für ein Bargeld-Geschenk. Und für ein wenig Schokolade ist auch noch Platz.

Today I am sharing an idea for how to give away some cash. And there's even room for some chocolat.

Ich habe hier die neu aufgeklegte Pizzabox Klein von JM-Creation mit der Küsschenbox kombiniert. Herausgekommen ist diese Handtasche auf einer Pizzabox. Und weil Bargeld nicht immer nur an Teens übergeben wird, ist meine Variante eher elegant ausgefallen.

Die Pizzabox habe ich aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanzt und den Aufleger, einen von zweien im Set, aus matt-silbernem Spiegelcardstock. Den Aufleger habe ich oben auf die Box geklebt und darunter ein wenig Cheesecloth gesetzt.

Here I combined the new and approved small pizza box die by JM-Creation with their little bag die and ended up with this handbag on a pizza box. And since cash is not always gifted to teens my version turned out a bit more elegant.

I've die cut the pizza box from black cardstock and the topper, one of two in the set, from a mat silver mirror cardstock. Inbetween the two layers I've put some cheesecloth.

Und hier ist meine Handtasche. Ich habe die Küsschentasche einmal aus schwarzem und einmal aus braunem Cardstock gestanzt. Von der braunen habe ich dann die Henkel abgeschnitten und den braunen Cardstock mit dem 3D Embossingfolder Veins von Sizzix geprägt. Um die Prägung noch mehr hervorzugeheben, habe ich ein braunes Stempelkissen ganz leicht über die erhabenen Stellen gezogen. Ich finde, so sieht die Tasche aus wie aus geprägtem Leder. 

Die braunen Teile habe ich dann auf die schwarzen geklebt. Im Set ist auch ein kleines abgerundetes Rechteck dabei - ich habe es mittig gefaltet, einen kleinen Stern daraus ausgestanzt und es als Label zwischen die beiden Lagen der Vorderseite der Tasche geklebt.

Für den Taschenverschluss habe ich zwei der Stanzen aus dem ebenfalls neuen Stanzenset Aufhänger und Co benutzt. Die Schnalle ist wieder aus dem silbernen Cardstock, der Riegel aus schwarzem gestanzt. An die Schnalle habe ich dann einen Streifen schwarzen Cardstocks geklebt, der zwischen den beiden Lagen des hinteren Teils der Tasche angeklebt ist. Dadurch, dass der Streifen relativ hoch ist, lässt sich die Schnalle ganz einfach aus dem Riegel ziehen.

Die Tasche habe ich dann oben auf den silbernen Aufleger auf der  Box geklebt.

And here's my handbag. I've die cut the new chocolat bag once from black and once from brown cardstock and cut off the handles off the brown one. Then I used the Veins 3D embossing folder by Sizzix to add some texture to the brown bag and lightly dabbed a brown ink pad over it to add some ink only to the raised areas. I think, now it looks like embossed leather.

Then I glued the brown parts onto the black bag. There's also a little rounded rectangle in the set. I folded it in half, die cut a tiny star from it and put it between the two front layers as a label.

For the closure I used two of the also new closure set. They are die cut from black and silver cardstock, to the silver piece I glued a strip of black cardstock. The other end is tucked between the two layers of the back of the bag. I left the strip quite long so pulling out the silver part is easily possible. 

Then I glued the bag onto the silver topper on top of the box.

Die Handtasche lässt sich aufklappen - eigentlich passt eine Schokopraline hinein. Die Tasche besteht aus zwei idenetischenTeilen. Ich habe in den Boden eines der Teile zwei Schlitze geschnitten, durch die ich etwas schmales, braunes Band gezogen habe. Das habe ich dann benutzt, um einen gerollten Geldschein in der Handtasche zu fixieren.

The handbag can be opened - and originally it's made to put a chocolat inside. The bag is die cut from two identical pieces that are glued on top of each other. I've die cut two slits into one of the bottoms and put some brown ribbon through them. Then I used the ribbon to hold a rolled up bill in place.

Natürlich lässt sich auch die Pizzabox öffnen - und dort wird noch etwas Schokolade ihren Platz finden. Passend dazu habe ich einen ebenfalls neuen Spruch auf den zweiten Aufleger, der mit der Pizzaboxstanze kommt, aufgestempelt. Darunter war noch Platz für ein Herz und zwei Glitzersteine.

Of course also  the pizza box can be opened - and I will put some chocolat in it before I give it away. I stamped a text that means "may contain traces of calories" onto the other label that comes with the pizza box. Under the text there was room for a die cut heart and two rhinestones.

Muttertag naht

Nicht mehr lang, dann ist Muttertag. Und deswegen habe ich heute mal eine Muttertagskarte zu zeigen.

Not long and mother's day will be here. So I'm sharing a mother's day card today.

 

Es gibt viele tolle Ideen für Muttertag, und für jede Mutter passt ein bestimmter Stil. Diese Karte ist nicht für meine eigene Mutter entstanden, und zur Empfängerin passt es etwas puristischer besser. Aber ohne kleines Extra geht es nicht. Deswegen habe ich eine Wechselbildkarte gemacht. 

Für den Mechanismus der Karte habe ich die Wechselbildkarten-Stanze von JM-Creation verwendet. Der Mechanismus ist aus cremefarbenem Cardstock gestanzt, der Aufleger sowie der Cardstock darunter ist helltürkis. 

Den tollen Spruch Gott konnte nicht... finde ich klasse. Er ist aber recht lang. Doch für die Wechselbildkarte ist er perfekt. Ich habe den oberen Teil so aufgestempelt, dass er zuerst auf der Karte lesbar ist.

 

There are a lot of great idea for mother's day crafts, and each mom need her own style. This card isn't for my own mother and the recipient is more a puristic type. But I just couldn't make an ordinary card - and made a picture changer card.

For the mechanism of this card I used a die by JM-Creation.

I've die cut the mechanism pieces from cream colored cardstock, the topper and the background are cut from light turquoise cardstock.

The saying is fantastic. It's a very tall one so it was perfect to divide it into two pieces. The first part is visible at first. It means "god isn't able to be everywhere at the same time".

 

 Zieht man am Tab oben, wird der zweite Teil des Textes sichtbar. Und hier entsteht dann auch die Verbindung zum Muttertag.

Für den Tab oben habe ich eine Stanze aus dem Stanzenset Kartenset aus dunkeltürkis farbenem Cardstock gestanzt und einen cremefarbenen Pfeil, gemacht mit einer weiteren Stanze aus dem Set, darauf geklebt. Ich habe ihn nur in der Länge ein wenig eingekürzt.

When you pull the tab, the other part of the text becomes visible. It means "and so he created the mothers".

For the tab I used a die and cut it from dark turquoise cardstock. On top I've glued an arrow, die cut from cream colored cardstock.

Für die Deko habe ich mich für den tollen Stempel Blumenduft entschieden. Ich habe die Schmetterlinge vom Stempel abgeschnitten, so konnte ich zuerst die Blumen mehrfach abstempeln und anschließend passend die Schmetterlinge. Ich habe die Motive so gestempelt, dass sie über alle drei Lagen der Karte fortlaufend sind - dank Stempeltool war das ganz einfach. Ich habe sie mit schwarzer Tinte aufgestempelt und anschließend mit Polychromos coloriert. 

Zum Schluss habe ich dann noch einige klare Glitzersteine auf der Karte verteilt.

To decorate my card I used a flower stamp. I've cut off the butterflies so I was able to stamp the flowers first - I had to stamp the image three times - and then added the butterflies where they fit best. I used a stamping tool to stamp the image on all three layers of the card so they are a complete image all over the card. I stamped them with black ink and then used my Polychromos to color them in.

In the end I added quite a few clear rhinestones inbetween the flowers.
