Apparently not much to say here. Well, I bought tickets at the last moment to the regional finals in San Jose and watched Purdue and Arizona go after each other. I was mostly neutral on them; it was really just a college basketball fan deciding to go get a taste of that elite eight energy. It did not disappoint. Crowd was maybe 65-35 for Arizona, but the arena got extremely loud as Arizona pulled away in the second half. Kudos to Arizona fans -- Attendance was listed at just over 14,000, but they got the place rockin' where it reminded me of AFH. I've been to other NCAA tourney games, but there's usually a split between the various fan bases such that it can't get that loud. Anyway... now there's one post here.... And its neither about Badgers or likable teams... lol

In retrospect, we might have been better off with Jason as our starting QB. (A debatable topic)

I really like the idea of have Fields in KC, he can get some reps with first teamers while Mahomes is out and another weapon in the run game. Reid and EB should be able to get some gadget plays for him in the book for this season. Maybe even run a QB sneak with him.

Hard to believe but the 2026 season is well underway and KU not off to a great start this year. Overall record is 11-8 and lost to several teams I would have expected they'd beat. Barring a big turnaround, not looking like they'll be participating in the post season. The Big12 in general looks down this year as the only current ranked team is West Virginia. Hopefully the warmer weather turns things around.

The good ole US of A played the first of two scheduled friendlies today. Absolutely smoked by No. 9 in the world Belgium — at least the scoreline says so. 5-2. USA is currently No. 16. It started out as a good match.the US put the pressure on early. had some quality moments, and the early lead. Then a slew of horrendous individual defensive moments turned the game quickly. Tim Weah was playing right defensive back. He was brutally embarrassed multiple times by Man City’s Doku. He’s so shifty and fast. I thought Weah was fast! Looks like Poch is seriously considering Weah as a right back option. Seems a bit late in the game to toy with his position. It did not go well for Weah. I like him though. McKennie had a nice goal. I still dislike his stupid, unnecessary yellow cards. Especially early in the game. Wish he’d get past that. Jedi played today! Yay.
